Evolution
Job 38:22-23 “Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?”

‘For many, the existence of so much ice on Antarctica is a grave cause for concern, as they have been told that climate change will cause a lot of this ice to melt and cause the sea level to rise. The worry is that many of the world’s great cities, and many small island nations, could disappear as the Antarctic melts. So why did God make such a troublesome continent which could precipitate the end of the world?
Remember that the topography of the world is not the way it was originally created. We have explained on previous Creation Moments that there was likely just one main pre-Flood continent, which we call Rodinia. This continent split up during the Flood. The massive deposits of fossil fuels known to exist on the southernmost continent are evidence of pre-Flood forests, probably populated with animals.
Every time ice breaks off from an Antarctic glacier, the media worry about flooding – yet God has promised not to flood the world again, nor to bring seasons to an end. Despite seeming to be a homogeneous repository for the 70% of the Earth’s fresh water, locked in as ice, there are considerable variations in climate between different parts of the continent. For every place where ice is melting and breaking up, there are parts where the ice cap gets thicker. God has all this in balance for His own purposes, and we can be sure He will keep all His promises.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/why-did-god-make-antarctica/?mc_cid=7262467475&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
Proverbs 27:8
“As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place.”

‘Another day, another dinosaur! A recent article in Nature announced the discovery of a tiny dinosaur skull. The article starts with these words:
Dinosaurs were big, whereas birds –which evolved from dinosaurs – are small…. The smallest dinosaurs weighed hundreds of grams, but the smallest living bird, the bee hummingbird, weighs only 2 grams.
The newly discovered dinosaur has been given the name Oculudentavis khaungraae. Its tiny skull was found encased in Burmese amber. Evolutionists have suggested a date of 99 million years old for this fossil.
Pictures accompanying some articles show a tiny creature, looking a bit like a hummingbird, but with a long beak, filled with tiny teeth. The pictures show the creature’s wings outstretched, covered with feathers. Interestingly, the article keeps switching between referring to the creature as a dinosaur and as a bird. Although not stating the case as such, the article seems to suggest this fossil is some sort of missing link between dinosaurs and birds because evolutionists believe that birds evolved from dinosaurs.
Sober judgment requires us to point out a few problems. The fossil does not have wings or feathers; it is just a fossil skull. And if the creature is a bird, then its evolutionary date requires it to have been living about 30 million years before dinosaurs are supposed to have died out.
Instead, we should see this new creature as part of God’s wonderful design. He made it for His good pleasure.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/the-hummingbird-dinosaur/?mc_cid=f4564e4757&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
Genesis 1:31a
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.”

‘Scientists often model the spread of such pathogens in order to predict how they may become precursors of an epidemic. But scientists at the Carnegie Mellon University have been studying how such models are affected or break down if the pathogen mutates. However, such mutation might be random and, hence, difficult to predict.
It is interesting that their mathematical models work not only for epidemics but also for the spread of misinformation or fake news. Their math appears sound, but their use of English less so. One researcher said, “Traditional models that don’t consider evolutionary adaptations fail at predicting the probability of the emergence of an epidemic.” There is a great danger that using such language will cause their research to be used to try to validate the theory of evolution by a process of bait and switch. Misinformation, for example, has indeed evolved from true information, in the broad meaning of the word “evolved”. In other words, it has changed. Similarly, the mutated virus has changed.
Linguistically, this could also be described as evolution. But in the field of biology, evolution actually means something rather different – not just change. No new genetic information has been added to the coronavirus, so the change is completely consistent with a biblical creationist approach.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/epidemics-and-evolution/?mc_cid=1fe5d881b7&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c

‘Canceled Science: What Some Atheists Don’t Want You to See’
Physicist Eric Hedin was canceled before the term cancel culture was even coined.
He taught a very popular class at Ball State University for six years called “Boundaries of Science” before pressure from atheists in 2013 prompted campus leaders to cancel the course.
Hedin never taught “Boundaries of Science” at Ball State again, but he continued teaching physics there and even got tenure. Eventually he left the Indiana campus to take a job at Biola University, a private Christian school in Southern California.
More recently Hedin has revisited the Ball State experience that thrust his name into the national spotlight and made him the poster boy for intelligent design for a season. Earlier this year he published the book “Canceled Science: What Some Atheists Don’t Want You to See.”’https://www.thecollegefix.com/physics-professor-chance-of-life-originating-on-its-own-by-natural-processes-is-zero/
Deuteronomy 6:5 “And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”

‘They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. While that is often true, they also say that it takes a highly evolved brain to picture objects and remember them. Science is learning that this bit of evolutionary myth is indeed fiction.
As far as the honeybee is concerned, not all flowers are created equal. Some flowers are a good source of nectar while others are a waste of time. Alfalfa flowers can kill a honeybee because they are designed for pollination by larger insects. When an insect lands, a central petal in the flower releases the stamen and sweeps pollen upward to aid pollination. Honeybees can be tossed off the flower or trapped inside by this action.
Scientists always thought that honeybees solved the problem of finding safe and productive flowers by remembering a list of characteristics. They believed the honeybee was evolutionarily too simple to remember mental pictures of favored flowers. However, recent experiments have convinced scientists that bees actually store a mental picture of productive flowers. In these experiments, bees were rewarded with sugar water for visiting some patterns and not others. Their reactions showed that they remember images, not simply patterns.
What’s more, the experiments showed that bees are quite intelligent and good learners. One scientist noted that these experiments showed that evolution’s assumptions about so-called higher and lower creatures are false. Those who believe in evolution are having to rethink their view of the world. Meanwhile, we can give thanks to God for so generously giving the gift of intelligence to so many of His creatures.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/a-thousand-words-for-a-bee-2/?mc_cid=4c8cfd1d38&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

‘At first glance, jellyfish may not look like much of a creation. Many are quite beautiful. However, most jellyfish simply look like blobs of jelly, so fragile that what might be a minor blow to one of us could prove fatal to them.
There are around 500 species of jellyfish. They live everywhere in the oceans – from the surface down to great depths. Some are as small as a BB. The largest jellyfish is the lion’s mane, which can grow to seven feet in diameter and have tentacles 200 feet long.
Despite their apparent simplicity, these insubstantial creatures make their living by capturing and eating fish and crustaceans that could easily tear them apart. To accomplish this seemingly impossible task, the jellyfish trails out its long thread-like tentacles. Each tentacle can have millions of capsules loaded with tiny harpoons. Once touched, the tentacles fire, injecting several deadly toxins. If enough toxin is injected, the victim’s heart stops. If not enough of this poison is injected, another toxin finds its way to the brain where it stops respiration. Yet another toxin bursts red blood cells, disrupting the circulatory system. Thankfully, only a few dozen of the hundreds of species of jellyfish can hurt human beings.
Imagine trying to design a creature that is not much more than a bag of Jell-O that can capture and subdue much larger and more powerful creatures. The jellyfish may look simple. However, its specialized design for a seemingly impossible task makes it an elegant witness to our Creator.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/catching-bigger-stronger-and-faster-prey-2/?mc_cid=451be53bcd&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

‘We have looked at many plants and animals that use different forms of camouflage to keep from being noticed. Some don’t wish to be noticed so that they can surprise their prey, while others don’t want to be noticed so they can avoid becoming prey. However, what happens when both predator and prey encounter each other in full camouflage?
The predator in this drama, witnessed by a naturalist at the edge of a desert, is a yellow crab spider. The spider was waiting on a yellow flower that made him nearly invisible. The potential prey is an inchworm beneath the same flower. The inchworm was tearing off bits of the yellow flower petals and sticking them on its back.
Properly camouflaged, the inchworm then worked his way toward the top of the flower where the spider waited. The spider felt the movement and ran around the edge to see whether lunch might be on the way. However, when the spider got around the edge of the flower, he saw nothing. He didn’t even notice the camouflaged inchworm on which he was standing! The spider then returned to the center of the flower, outsmarted by the inchworm who went on about his business.
Our wisdom would have said that the inchworm should try to run when he noticed the spider. However, the wisdom given to him by the Creator allowed him to continue about his business on the flower. This offers us a good illustration of how following the Lord’s wisdom often requires us to reject our own.’ https://creationmoments.com/sermons/inchworm-games-2/?mc_cid=c35e4f77c0&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
Evolution is a lie of the Devil! Most unsaved people have fallen for it and sadly many professing “Christians” have as well. If you are one of those previously mentioned here is another video from Creation Moments that just might make you rethink your evolutionary position.
Luke 11:28 “But he said, Yea rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it.”

‘Our senses link us to the world around us and enable us to interact with the world. While most people believe that our sense of sight is the highest of the senses and the most marvelous in design, our sense of hearing is no less marvelous.
When a sound strikes your ear, your eardrum vibrates with the sound waves, fast or slow, soft or hard. These variations in vibration provide us with important information about the nature of the sound we are hearing. Some sounds produce a vibration in the eardrum as small as a billionth of a centimeter – only one-tenth the diameter of a hydrogen atom! There are three tiny bones in the middle ear called the hammer, anvil and stirrup. They pick up the vibrations from the eardrum, amplify them and send them on to the cochlea. The cochlea is filled with about 25,000 tiny hair cells that finally turn the vibrations into electrical signals that are sent on to the brain.
Our hearing is designed to be more sensitive to high-pitched sounds than to lower sounds. If we had just a little more sensitivity to lower-pitched sounds, we would continuously be distracted by the internal sounds of our body, including the blood rushing through our arteries. In fact, to help prevent this, there are no blood vessels at all in that part of the ear where vibrations are turned into electrical impulses. The body supports life in these tissues by constantly bathing them in dissolved nutrients.
While we can hear many things, and decide not to hear other things, the Creator who so marvelously designed our ears invites us to hear His Word to us from the Bible.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/insulated-ears-2/?mc_cid=60fcec03a5&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
