I am independet and a Baptist for many reasons but the foremost reason is because all the churches in the New Testament were independent churches. However, today there are those who do belong to denominations and they often have a story to be told and this is one of them.

‘A 2019 poll in the UK discovered that 40% of the public describe themselves as very worried or extremely worried about climate change. A similar poll three years earlier put the figure at 19%, so that worry has doubled in three years.
As with all issues having to do with science, the foundational passages to which we must turn are found in Genesis. The first place to look is Genesis 1:28. When God blessed the first human beings, He gave them dominion over all living creatures and gave them authority to “fill the earth and subdue it.” The verse implies first that humans have authority to exploit the earth’s resources, and second, to do so in a manner of good stewards. Add to this basis the fact that God was prepared to cause massive climate change, as a punishment for human sin, by sending the global Flood of Genesis 6 through 9. God would be justified in sending another Flood today – except that He has promised not to do so in Genesis 9:11. Moreover, in Genesis 8:22, He promised that our current pattern of seasons would continue, until the end of the world.
These verses should be a reassurance to Christians. And, if worry remains, remember what Jesus said: “Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Since putting the following on this blog DuckDuckGo has up and gone the way of Google. Therefore, we need to be very discerning in what social media platforms we not only use but promote.

For example, if you search for “Homosexuality is wicked,” the top result (as of when I wrote this article) is an article that laughably claims that sodomy is not condemned by Scripture, and other pro-sodomy articles are in the top page of results. If you search on the search engine DuckDuckGo, the top result is an article entitled “Five Biblical Reasons Homosexuality is Worse than Most Other Sins” and practically every other article on the first page is anti-sodomy, with the anti-sodomy articles being stronger against this perversion than the ones on Google. Do you really think that the top results on Google are unbiased, or is Google putting a heavy thumb on the scale? If you search for “scientific creationism” on DuckDuckGo, the first page includes links to the Institute for Creation Research and Answers in Genesis. Neither website is on the first page in a Google search. Do you think that is by chance? If you search for “Hunter Biden China collusion,” the top result on DuckDuckGo is an article from the leading conservative organization National Review entitled “A Collusion Trail: China and the Bidens.” On Google, National Review does not appear anywhere on page one and this article is at the very bottom of page 2. Chance? Oh, no!
DuckDuckGo is not specifically conservative–it just doesn’t have the leftist bias of Google. DuckDuckGo just puts up what most people actually are searching for when they do Internet searches. While some interaction with wicked companies is unavoidable, breaking your tie with Google here is easy. Open your “preferences” file in the browser(s) you use right now (it may be some dots in the top right corner of your browser, or it may be in a menu) and change the default search engine from Google to DuckDuckGo. Do it on your phone. Do it on your laptop. Do it on everything. Google wants your data to make money, but it doesn’t want your beliefs. It wants to destroy them. This gender confusion issue pushed by the Left is out of control in many Australian states so the Australian Christian Lobby has printed pamphlets for distribution seeking to tell the truth.
However, the Victorian state ‘…Attorney-General Jacklyn Symes described the Australian Christian Lobby’s pamphlets on the recently passed Change or Suppression (Conversion) legislation as “hurtful, harmful and wrong.” However, she didn’t mention that the legislation bans LGBTIQA+ people who want help from getting help [Section 5(1)], and prosecutes parents who want to encourage their gender confused children to wait, rather than rushing into irreversible gender transitioning treatment [Section 64].
These ACL pamphlets seek to bring out truth and raise awareness in the community. And, LGBTIQA+ people should have the freedom to explore other options and seek counselling rather than limiting them to only one option – gender transitioning.
What is concerning about Section 5(1) of this legislation is that even those who consent to get help cannot get it. This harms LGBTIQA+ people by robbing them of their true freedom of choice.
In addition, Section 64 amends the Family Violence Protection Act 2008 to allow authorities to investigate and prosecute parents who help their children understand and be at ease with their own biological sex before deciding on gender transitioning treatments.
With gender theory being taught extensively in all state schools to children as young as primary level, children who return home with confusion over their gender will lose the opportunity to have proper conversation with their parents. Parents will either be forced to affirm their child’s preferred gender, or risk being investigated or prosecuted for “family violence” that is deemed to cause either emotional or psychological harm by “changing or suppressing” their child’s desired gender identity.
Out of love and care for families in the community, children, and the LGBTIQA+ community, the ACL pamphlets intend to help parents be aware of the danger of this legislation and avoid litigation. It is also ACL’s wish to advocate for the true freedom of gender confused children and the LGBTIQA+ community. If they are seeking help and consent to receive it, they deserve help in any form.
How are ACL’s pamphlets “hurtful, harmful and wrong” or “derogatory” and “appalling” when they tell the truth about passed legislation and reveal the hidden risks?

People who refuse have already been denied entrance to food stores by supermarkets such as Coles, who fear the savage Government threat of huge fines unless they cooperate. Is our State Government really willing to kill people by starvation if they don’t comply? That wouldn’t surprise us. The atheist feminist premier already allows the killing of huge number of babies each week in government authorised abortion clinics, so what’s a few more adults and children who die of hunger?
Even Churches are being forced to register all attenders on the Government App, and most churches who are complying have not even considered if they will supply food to any who refuse to register and therefore cannot buy food or get work etc. Will churches exclude Non-App’ers? Will they allow the great Un-App’d seekers in off the streets? Church leaders ought not be surprised there are those who won’t comply, especially nationalities from a background under Communism who have had first-hand experience of Atheists in Government who want to totally control and eliminate Christians.
The current rate of vaccination is around 7% in Australia which perhaps tells PMs and Premiers, they must not assume Australians are stupid. Many have family members or friends who have either been incredibly ill, or have died within weeks of receiving the vaccine. Aussies will actually contact Professors of developmental medicine or find doctors or nurses who advise them to not have a shot, even though that can risk such medics being prosecuted. The average Aussie is ok enuf at math, to calculate, even based on the official Australian figures, you have at least the same odds of dying or being incapacitated after the vaccine as you have from Covid-19.
More sadly, our Pentecostal PM has not yet even suggested that we as a Nation should humble ourselves and pray to the Almighty Creator Christ. But that is our advice – seek the Lord while He may be found before it’s too late. He is the Sovereign God who alone created the original good coronavirus and has authority even over what increasingly seems to be a human re-engineered bad virus from China – created to attack man, not animals, and designed to do evil and not good.
