This is an email I received from Family Voice describing what is typical of the Left when ‘SA Liberal MLC Michelle Lensink has upset many South Australians by requiring her controversial abortion bill to be fully debated on Remembrance Day, 11 November.
Australians have long revered Remembrance Day as a solemn time to remember those who have died in battle during wartime. Debating, on this sacred day, a bill to allow the killing of unborn babies up to birth is unbelievably insensitive.
RSL State President Cheryl Cates said that planning to debate proposed abortion laws on Remembrance Day is “absolutely inappropriate”.
The practice of remembering members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty was inaugurated by King George V in 1919. He called for all activity to stop at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, for 2 minutes’ silence to be observed. The silence would remind people throughout the British Empire of the silence that fell on the battlefields of Europe when the hostilities of the First World War ended when armistice with Germany was signed.

Malcolm Turnbull and Kevin Rudd have NO shame. They were worse than the worse as PM’s of Australia and are way past their due date but they still have the audacity to show their faces on television. However, the Leftist/Marxist ABC must promote the two for otherwise they wouldn’t have a sounding board for their climate scam Marxist views. And speaking of bad governments and evil, this morning on ABC Insiders, former prime ministers Turnbull and Rudd where the guests of honour.
These are two very special men. Very special. In different times, their inability to see their reflections in a mirror might be considered a sign of vampirism. Both men are certain that the failures of their governments and their ultimate removals have apparently nothing to do with their unusual combination of administrative incompetence and political narcissism. Apparently, their failures were all a result of the evil Murdoch Empire.
Their performance on Insiders this morning was a sight to behold. Turnbull beautifully verballed David Speers, suggesting that Speers left Sky News to get away from News Corp. Turnbull even suggested that The Guardian Australian is unequivocally a small l liberal publication and bringing it to Australia was one of the best things he did.
Rudd continued to advocate for his Royal Commission into the “Murdoch media“ and, of course, Turnbull supported Rudd. Irrelevant is the fact that the total operating costs of News in Australia would almost certainly be less than $200 million per annum compared to the $1 billion the ABC spends and there is no proposal to investigate the ABC.
Their proposed solutions by the way? Crickets.
Well, here’s my solution. Both are exceptionally wealth men. Exceptionally. Let them pool their non-insignificant capital and start their own media enterprise. Between them, they could easily put together $100 million in seed funding. Rudd can write the gossip column. Turnbull the business pages. And Turnbull’s son, he can be the editor in chief.
Don’t like the News Corp product, sell your own. But that would require courage, skin in the game and managerial effectiveness and the very fact that they sit whining on the ABC suggests a lack thereof.

If Joe Biden does win, he’ll be 78 years old when sworn in and 82 years old at the end of his first term. Both marks are the oldest in U.S. history for a president. Some individuals are still sharp in their late 70s. Biden is not one of them.
The result is that Biden will never be president de facto. With Trump out of the picture, Democrats wouldn’t need him anymore. Steps would be taken at some point to remove him from office on the grounds of mental incapacity under the Twenty-fifth Amendment. Nancy Pelosi recently proposed legislation to set up a commission to do just that as prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.
But while he remains in office, who will be the real president in a Biden administration?
There are three camps contending for power:
The first camp is the Biden family led by Joe Biden’s wife Dr. Jill Biden, his son Hunter Biden, and Joe Biden’s brothers Jim Biden and Frank Biden. These are the individuals who have been enriched through association with Joe Biden by using or selling access to Biden’s power to win lucrative investment management roles, consulting engagements, construction contracts and other remunerative pursuits.
The Biden family will want to keep Joe in power (with Jill Biden pulling the strings) in order to keep their shakedown operation intact and avoid scrutiny.
The second camp is led by Kamala Harris and those who control her, including the Obama crew and the Resistance. If Biden is removed under the Twenty-Fifth Amendment, Harris becomes Acting President. If Biden resigns under threat of removal, Harris becomes the president.
She would be a front for the Obamas and Valerie Jarrett who would operate through a cabinet consisting of Obama family retainers including Susan Rice, Samantha Power, Sally Yates and Eric Holder.
The third camp is led by the extreme left wing of the party including Bernie Sanders, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (and The Squad), Elizabeth Warren and radical organizations such as BLM. This group is already embedded in the Biden campaign as part of a deal whereby Bernie Sanders agreed to end his primary campaign and endorse Joe Biden in exchange for Biden adopting most of the Sanders platform.
The most likely outcome is that the Obama crew and the Bernie Bros will join forces and run the Biden family off the road. The Bidens will be allowed to keep their Chinese and Russian money and will not face any scrutiny or prosecution in exchange for going away quietly.
Whether Sleepy Joe gets in or not the elite will be changing your life and mine. These people and their agenda will not only change our life but in reality it will be a total destruction of the life we have known. Cooperation to these people means submission. Our governments in the West have sold us down the proverbial river. President Trump has been the one obstacle in their way and now perhaps that obstacle has been removed.
The Prime Minister of Australia, who professes to be a Christian, is one of those in the West who has sold his people down the climate scam river to be sold on the wharf of human slavery to supposedly save the planet. As if our not using heat or air conditioning or walking rather than driving will save this planet. Can we the the little people do anything to stop this madness? I didn’t watch the spectacle but according to the Leftist Marxist Guardian’s New Daily ‘Towards the end of Malcolm Turnbull and Kevin Rudd’s joint interview on the ABC’s Insiders on Sunday, host David Speers gave voice to the thought that was on the lips of every viewer watching from home.
“Years ago, I would have doubted there would be so much agreement between the two of you,” the veteran broadcaster said with a smile, the smiling visages of the former prime ministers towering over him from two giant televisions.
“So would we,” Mr Rudd replied.
It capped an extraordinary interview and the latest chapter in an unlikely budding bromance from the two former rivals, who have teamed up in their post-politics careers to take on the white whales they couldn’t vanquish even from the highest office in the land.
Namely, climate change and Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.

“We had agreed on an emissions trading scheme once upon a time,” Mr Turnbull reminded the Insiders host at the end of their wide-ranging chat.
It’s not difficult to see the most recent ex-PM still carries grudges over his unceremonious booting from The Lodge in August 2018, replaced by Scott Morrison after a toxic partyroom brawl over energy policy.
Mr Rudd also lost his prime ministership in 2010, in no small part due to his controversial dumping of a carbon reduction scheme and the ensuing popularity hit.
Both have blamed the “Murdoch media” for waging campaigns against their leaderships, and in the years since they left Parliament, both have fired shots back and kept spruiking their thoughts on strong climate action.
The pair are not exactly good friends – indeed, Mr Rudd was famously enraged when then-PM Turnbull blocked his bid to run for United Nations secretary-general in 2016 – but have backed common purposes in recent times.
Good to have you on board, @TurnbullMalcolm. Supporting media diversity isn’t about left or right, Labor or Liberal, but preserving the lifeblood of our democracy.
So it was perhaps a programming coup to get Australia’s angry grandpas on TV together on Sunday in the wake of the US election being handed to Joe Biden just hours earlier, to have them continue their unlikely alliance in front of a national audience.
On the agenda? Climate, News Corp and, of course, Donald Trump.
Rupert Murdoch was mentioned no fewer than a dozen times in the Insiders interview.
“Trump has lost. Murdoch’s man in the White House has been defeated,” Mr Turnbull said.
Mr Rudd called out “Murdoch bullies” for haranguing Mr Turnbull, calling the media proprietor “a cancer on our democracy”.
“Malcolm and I disagree on a multitude of things, but Murdoch’s treatment of Malcolm Turnbull in 2018, directly interfering into the internal politics of the Liberal Party, to do what he could through his editors to bring about a leadership change to Morrison or Dutton at the time, is a disgrace,” Mr Rudd said.
“Murdoch has engendered a culture of fear in Australia about this discussion because he goes after people individually who raise this question. Including myself, including Malcolm and others,” he complained.
On the hot-button topic of climate, the pair said they hoped Mr Biden would usher in a new era of global environmental action and co-operation.
Mr Turnbull couldn’t resist taking a stab at Mr Morrison’s plans for a ‘gas-led recovery’ – a plan he called “BS” and “piffle” – and loudly calling for stronger commitments.
“This is the time to pivot, otherwise [Morrison] is going to look out on the extreme with Saudi Arabia, as some kind of a carbon economy,” Mr Turnbull quipped.
“Really, we can do so much better than that, and now is the time for Scott to move.”
Mr Rudd claimed the government’s policies amounted to a plan to “hide in the shadows”, and called on Mr Morrison to “swallow your political pride and get real” on a net-zero target.
But stinging words were also reserved for the vanquished Mr Trump.
Mr Rudd said the President should “put on his big boy pants” and “act like a grown-up” after his loss.
Mr Turnbull, famously the target of Mr Trump’s ire in a 2016 phone call over refugee policy, said the change was “a good thing for everybody”.
“It’s a relief to have a return to normal transmission, to have an administration that is going to be consistent, that isn’t going to be making decisions by wild tweets in the early hours of the morning,” he said.
“That isn’t going to be walking out of global treaties and alliances, discombobulating friends and foes alike.”
There are voices that have an appeal and there are voices that grate on you so much that you would love to…
Well, anyway, Australia’s leader of the Opposition, Albo as he is called, is one of those you or at least I would like to…when I hear his voice; no matter what he says. Travel between the states here in Australia is just now beginning due to the China virus. The state dictators that were approaching elections kept their state borders closed for the ‘safety’ of their citizens. Surprise, surprise, after their election wins their borders are opening. It is also worthy of note that ‘The World Health Organization (WHO) recently admitted that lockdowns cause more harm than good. Following this announcement, one would have expected American politicians to immediately end the lockdowns. After all, the WHO’s pronouncements are considered infallible, so much so that social media sites silence anyone who dares challenge the great and powerful WHO. Yet, governors, mayors, and other government officials across the country are ignoring the WHO’s anti-lockdown position. Instead of admitting that the lockdowns were a mistake, many in the political class, which includes a disturbing number of medical professionals whose positions and prestige depend on government, claim that we cannot return to normalcy until a coronavirus vaccine is in wide use. This suggests that people among the majority of Americans who do not wish to be vaccinated will remain under lockdown or be forced to be vaccinated against their will. The assault on our liberty will not end with deployment and use of a vaccine. Moncef Slaoui, the chief adviser of the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed, a “public-private partnership” in charge of producing and delivering a coronavirus vaccine, has said that those who receive a vaccine will be monitored by “incredibly precise … tracking systems.” Slaoui has also indicated that tech giants Google and Oracle will help the government keep tabs on the vaccinated individuals. So, the vaccine program will lead to an increase in government surveillance! Slaoui is just the latest “expert” to endorse forcing the American people to relinquish their few remaining scraps of privacy to stop coronavirus. Dr. Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates have urged development of a digital certificate for those vaccinated for coronavirus. People without the certificate would find their liberty severely restricted. Those who think that the new surveillance system will be limited to coronavirus should remember that Social Security numbers were only supposed to be used to administer the Social Security program. They should also consider that the PATRIOT Act’s expansion of warrantless wiretapping was supposed to be limited to stopping terrorists. However, these powers have been used for a wide variety of purposes. Whenever government is given power to abuse our rights for one reason it will inevitably use that power to abuse our rights for other reasons as well. Fauci and Gates’ digital certificate could, and likely will, be expanded to include proof individuals have received a variety of other vaccines and medical treatments. The digital certificate could even extend to monitoring a person’s lifestyle choices on the grounds that unhealthy habits make one more susceptible to diseases… similar to China’s social score system which monitors and rates every lifestyle decision you make. The digital certificate could also be tied to the REAL ID program to deny individuals who have not been vaccinated the right to travel. It could also be combined with a future mandatory E-Verify system to deny unvaccinated individuals the right to hold a job. Those who consider this “paranoia” should consider Britain is already developing a covid passport. Liberty lost in the “war on covid” will not be voluntarily returned when the coronavirus threat ends — assuming the government ever stop moving the goal posts and declares the coronavirus threat is over. Instead, the people must be prepared to take back their liberty from the politicians. Fortunately, we still have the ability to do so by the peaceful means of educating our fellow citizens and pressuring our elected officials to reverse course.
