‘THE STING: When Donald Trump was interviewed by Sharri Markson they speculated on the origin of the virus. It’s fair to say they both thought it had come from the Wuhan lab. Trump clearly concluded that it was accidental otherwise, as he said, it would have been an act of war.
So far, I believe, we’ve had three possibilities mooted. One is an animal to human transmission, liked by those fond of China for various reasons or who fear retaliation in one form or another. A second is an accidental escape from the lab, favoured it seems to me by an increasing number of people based on the circumstantial evidence. The third is a deliberate leak orchestrated by the CCP, or a faction in the CCP, in order to damage the West.
I plump for the second, but only if forced out of my ‘don’t-know’ comfort zone. Let’s face it, my opinion is worth diddly-squat. Even so, I will mention a fourth possibility, which is perhaps a little conspiratorial for comfort. It’s titled how drug companies make a bonanza.
Suppose you have an untried, experimental, spike-protein vax in the back office with no takers. You need the right transmissible infection. Nothing of great lethality. Nothing of triviality. The right infection happens. A convenient coincidence? Maybe. Sometimes life works out. Everything almost falls into place. There’s a missing link, as it were. And then comes Trump, in all naïve innocence, I believe.
COVID was taking a political toll. Trump needed a vaccine. He put Warp Speed into action. Great cover for the speedy production and distribution of vaccines which normally take five and more years to prove. Enter Trump again and HCQ. Now who got him to promote HCQ? That queered the pitch for therapeutics.
Vaccines could not have been given emergency authorisation if effective therapeutics were in use. Therapeutics had to be driven out of the medical marketplace. And associating them with Trump did the trick.
If you think this is a stretch, how in the world have we got to a point where people are being persecuted (including being robbed of their livelihoods) for refusing to take a ‘vaccine’ to combat a disease of very limited lethality; which, in any event, doesn’t prevent you getting the disease or passing it on; whose effectiveness quickly wanes; and whose long-term effects are, by definition, unknown. And, worse, and morally repugnant, where very young children, at no risk from the disease, are now being lined up, as though guinea pigs, to take the jab.
Sure, useful idiots predominate. But I, for one, am not ruling out sinister players. Cui Bono.
Death stalked the land in 2020 as COVID wreaked havoc with our medical infrastructure. Bring out your bodies heralded each morn. Not quite.
In fact, the ABS reports that deaths in in 2020 at 161,300 were fewer than in 2019 at 169,301. The 20 leading causes are listed. COVID didn’t make the cut, but was given special mention as the 38th. It reportedly caused 898 deaths with a median age of 86.9 years compared with 81.7 years for deaths as a whole. Sad though most deaths are for families and friends, how can those dying in their mid-eighties be described by the Prime Minister as each a “terrible tragedy,” without losing all sensible perspective and running out of superlatives fit for purpose.
Let me mention the 3,144 women who died in 2020 of breast cancer, with a median age of 72 years. The 2,186 people who died of melanoma, with a median age of 64.7 years. The 16,587 who died of heart disease, with a median age of 84.7 years. The 3,139 who committed suicide, with a median age of only 43.5 years. Children also died in 2020; each properly described as a terrible tragedy.
By the way, make of it what you will. Set against COVID deaths of 898, influenza -pneumonia deaths in 2020 were down 1,837 on their level in 2019 (admittedly a high year). But they were also down 815 on their level in 2018 (not a high year). Net-zero COVID/ Flu deaths perhaps?
The risk of dying from COVID is small, vanishingly small if you are neither old nor have serious underlying illnesses. That of course doesn’t fit the agenda. You can’t scare people witless and force novel so-called vaccines on them by telling the truth.
You have to invent a different truth built on modelling hyperbole, misinformation and secret public health advice. Then you can mask them, isolate them, prevent them having access to cheap therapeutic medicine, and then, finally, vaccinate them and their children. And boosters are dessert. ‘Is modern American Leftism a new, secular religion? Of course it is. Who could forget House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Grey Goose) giving thanks to her god for his salvific sacrifice: “Thank you, George Floyd, for sacrificing your life for justice”? Or New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D-Planned Parenthood) proclaiming that the unvaccinated “aren’t listening to God and what God wants.” And now the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), which has long been a hollowed-out shell teaching social justice Leftism in vaguely Christian garb, has done its part for the sanctification of the contemporary Leftist agenda by publishing a new hymn, “The Climate is Changing.” The lyrics are far more ludicrous than the title might suggest.
Presbyterian News Service reported Friday that the hymn was prepared for the opening of the UN Climate Change Conference on Sunday in Glasgow. Apparently the assembled dignitaries, after working hard all day on strategies to compel the U.S. and Western Europe to commit economic suicide and hand global financial hegemony to China on a silver platter, will be in the mood to belt out a rousing hymn about saving Gaia. The pious Presbyterians were happy to oblige.
“The Climate is Changing” is helpfully written to a tune that many of the conference participants will find familiar: “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise,” an enduringly popular nineteenth-century hymn that begins: “Immortal, invisible, God only wise, in light inaccessible, hid from our eyes, most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise.”
Now, this is the twenty-first century, and all that patriarchal business about a wise, omnipotent, glorious God is as dated as porkpie hats and the notion that there are only two genders. “The Climate is Changing,” which was written by Carolyn Winfrey Gillette, co-pastor with her husband, Bruce, of First Presbyterian Union Church in Oswego, New York, is much more up-to-date. Here are the first two verses, in all their virtue-signaling pseudo-Christian glory:

The lyrics do make a cursory nod toward the old religion: the fifth (yes) verse begins by reminding God: “You love this good Earth, and you sent us your Son!” If you don’t recall Jesus saying much about the necessity to reduce greenhouse emissions, but only in the West, while giving China a free hand to pollute as much as it wants while turning the world into its personal economic fiefdom, Bruce Gillette, the husband of the holy hymnographer, might want to have a few words with you. “We all need to be doing more to counter the crisis ASAP,” said Bruce, who is also (surprise!) vice-moderator of Presbyterians for Earth Care. “Prayer (spoken and sung) needs to be the basis for Christian action. One could NEVER ask for someone’s medical records for HIV, Hepatitis or some sexually transmitted disease! Yet, providing proof of receiving the Wuhan Flu vaccine is mandated in California and other WOKE states. Now, ‘An In-N-Out in Contra Costa County, California, has been shut down permanently for refusing to ask patrons for proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test within three days of dining in.
The fast-food branch was told to close indefinitely on Tuesday according to The Hill.
“The Pleasant Hill In-N-Out location received four citations in recent weeks and fines totaling $1,750, all for the same health order violation, before today’s action,” Contra Costa Environmental Health (CCEH) said in a statement.
The location was served with a notice of violation on Oct. 5, and subsequently fined $250 on Oct. 14 and $500 on Oct. 19, a spokesperson for Contra Costa County’s health department told SFGate, adding that the In-N-Out faced “repeated complaints from members of the public.”
Arnie Wensinger, chief legal & business officer for the In-N-Out chain, said that the store “properly and clearly” posted signs that outlined the vaccination requirements for indoor diners, but said that the store refused to act as “the vaccination police for any government.”
“It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant Associates to segregate Customers into those who may be served and those who may not, whether based on the documentation they carry, or any other reason,” added Wensinger.

There’s no definition of the terms “women” or “girls” or “female”. There is a strong emphasis, however, on males who pretend to be women by donning a costume, popping pills or undergoing surgical mutilation of healthy body tissue.
On the surface it may seem like an attempt to achieve equity or equality. Unfortunately, statements such as “The transgender athlete who dreams of the chance to compete, free from discrimination”, proves that there is no regard for the safety, fairness or privacy of women in sport.
Binary spokeswoman, Kirralie Smith, said it was purely a virtue signalling exercise.
“Equity and equality will never be achieved if you cannot even define the term woman. These concepts are meaningless if anyone can be a woman,” she said.
“Sex-based rights and responsibilities are essential for a fair and functioning society to operate.
“This document denies science, rejects biological reality and furthers the oppression of women.
