America
‘Mankind’s constant, consuming, and ceaseless primary need from the first day in Eden, has been to have enough food and water to keep his family alive. Additionally, man must have lodging, a source of income, and health care. Still, man’s biggest, most pressing, and constant need is food, including water.
And the food supply is being devastated by the ever-increasing population.
In 1906, Alfred Henry Lewis stated, “There are only nine meals between mankind and anarchy.” Three days without food will often turn friend against friend, neighbor against neighbor, and in some cases, relative against relative. It will also turn decent people into criminals and, in some cases, turn well-bred people into cannibals.
No stable person will go berserk after not eating for three days, but when the fear of starvation is added, panic will soon follow.
In 1798, Thomas Malthus wrote that the population expands in times of plenty until there is not enough food (and other resources) to feed the people. A relentless struggle for food causes tremendous pressure and distress in a region. Even in difficult times, the drive for “a virtuous attachment” (marriage) is so strong that the problem will worsen with additional children making any permanent improvement of the poor impossible. His basic premise was when times are good, the population increases, and the increase tends to consume resources, making it difficult for the less fortunate.
Malthusianism is in our world today, often with missionary zeal, to cut the population by prohibiting marriage, limiting family size, and even using the radical schemes of forced abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. Even aborting handicapped babies after their birth and killing off those born without the possibility of a “quality life.”
Malthus posited that since population growth will always outrun the food supply, any improvement of humankind is impossible unless harsh limits on reproduction are imposed. He suggested late marriages and “moral restraint” (abstinence), wars, and disease would help keep a balance between the population and the food supply. Others added birth control; however, Malthus was an English preacher and did not recommend birth control.
When favorable weather produces abundant crops, the population is generally healthy and happy. They tend to keep having children in abundance. We are told the tendency toward marriage is a constant struggle and hinders any improvement in the condition of the poor. Therefore, the population increases, causing distress and pressure for additional food and other resources. Malthus considered society doomed to famine, disease, poverty, misery, and death; however, later marriages, sexual abstinence, and celibacy would help mitigate the suffering of the poor.
He lived in the mid-1700s and did not see the Industrial Revolution galloping his way from 1760 to about 1840. He did not anticipate machines run by steam, water, air, or electricity doing the work of scores of men. He also failed to see the rise of contraceptives that permitted families to have two or three children instead of five or six—or more.
Hunger, disease, and war decrease the population requiring less food; and birth control, postponement of marriage, and celibacy further help to keep the world in balance.
He thought natural causes such as accidents, old age, famine, and “vice,” including infanticide, murder, contraception, and homosexuality, could stop excessive population growth. But he didn’t have any hope of escaping massive famine.
When good times continue and the population increases, it threatens everyone; consequently, since more people live longer, the elderly, handicapped, and unproductive are “useless eaters.”
The famines in India (which happened about every ten years for decades) were necessary to keep the “excess” population in check. Officials even prohibited private charities from taking food into famine-stricken areas! The Malthusian theory also “influenced British policies in Ireland during the 1840s, in which relief measures during the Irish Potato Famine (1845-1849) were neglected, and mass starvation was seen as a natural and inevitable consequence of the island’s supposed over-population.”
Enter the Germans. In 1920, a world-shaking book was published by Germans Karl Binding and Dr. Alfred Hoche with the English title, Permission to Destroy Life Devoid of Value or Permitting the Destruction of Life Unworthy of Life. It addressed the legal relationship between suicide and euthanasia and then extended it to killing the mentally ill. The book suggested that killing a patient was justifiable when it led to other lives being saved, mainly when the patient in question was of no value to themselves or society. The book advocates killing the mentally ill or the intellectually dead, especially since such people were a drain on society.
The expression “life unworthy of life,” which appeared first in this book, was essential to Nazi ideology. The two authors, a lawyer, and a physician, were not political and were not National Socialists. They were academics dealing with a very delicate subject. Does the state have the right to kill some people for the good of many? Does the state have a right to decide when a life is not productive?
That question has not been answered, in my opinion.
Food or the lack of it is a significant issue in our time because if not enough food is available, then everything comes down. I have never seen such an emphasis on food and its potential unavailability. It is no longer only an issue for the preppies, but for everyone since everyone eats.
People are becoming more aware of their total dependence on others for that which is indispensable—food. Past generations would have been horrified of such reliance.
With the absence of food, anarchy prevails, followed by famine. Shortage of food is one thing, but the lack of food is a disaster. Paul Lee Tan gave a peasant’s description of the Russian Famine from 1932 to 1933. “We’ve eaten everything we could lay our hands on—cats, dogs, field-mice, birds. When it’s light tomorrow you will see the trees stripped of bark…And the horse manure has been eaten. Sometimes there are whole grains in it.”
Americans have little experience with food shortage on a national scale and no examples of massive starvation in our country.
No longer is a food shortage, food interruption, and food unavailability discussed only by the fringe groups, but highly placed officials and politicians are concerned. President Biden said of the food shortage, “Yes, it’s gonna be real.” Food prices are at their highest since records began 60 years ago.
That’s one time Biden got it right.
The concern is already here, and it will worsen as grocery stores run out of major items early in the day, then they will no longer have those items at all. Then, many people will go from anxious to apprehension to anarchy—the nine meals have been missed. It is one thing to be fearful of food shortages but another to have a fear of starvation, then the fact starvation.
It will get super serious as some borderline people become irresponsible. Some parents will take what they want to feed their children. The cities would become unlivable as food riots occur as otherwise decent people use force to take what they feel they need—if not deserve. Understand this is not speculation. It has always happened in all societies. As seen before, truckers would refuse to enter the rioting cities, further exacerbating the problem.
Henry Kissinger declared in The Final Days, “Control oil and you control nations; control food and you control the people.” In a 1974 National Security Memo, he also declared, “Depopulation should be the highest priority of foreign policy towards the third world, because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries.”
If you don’t think many public officials will promote plans to diminish, deplete, and destroy elements of a population to keep order (and their jobs), you live in an alternate universe. And you don’t know history.
Our Great Food Disaster has already started.
The Great Famine was one of the great disasters of human history. The world-class disaster started when a physical chill settled on Europeans of the 14th century. The Baltic Sea froze twice, followed by unseasonably cold years of gradually shorter growing seasons that meant disaster. Rain started in 1315 and continued for 7 years, especially in the summers. Crop failures lasted through 1316 until the summer harvest in 1317.
In 1315, it rained so much, people talked of Noah’s flood. Crops failed, and people all over Europe died of starvation. People began to harvest wild edible roots, grasses, nuts, and bark in the forests. They ate their own children, and people in Poland took down hanged men from the scaffold and ate them. Food scarcity prompted prison inmates to kill new inmates and “devoured them half alive.” The time was conspicuous for severe crime levels, rampage, disease, mass death, cannibalism , and infanticide.
Almost everyone was hungry since 95% of the population consisted of peasants who had no reserve food supplies and no money to purchase if any were available for sale. During this time, people did not think or act rationally. They butchered their draft animals and ate their seed grain, guaranteeing continued famine. Many abandoned their children, yet some elderly people chose not to eat to ensure food for the young.
During this period, life expectancy was shockingly low. During the Great Famine and the Plague, it was a little under 30 years, and between 1348 and 1375, life expectancy was only 17 years! Lack of food and a deadly plague will do that to a population.
All that was area-wide, including a few nations; however, some experts tell us we are facing a world famine, first in Africa, Bangladesh, South American nations, Middle East nations, and China, then Europe and the United States.
And those populations are all headed in your direction!
Governments and do-good organizations will do something even if it is wrong. The World Economic Forum (WEF) just finished its annual conference in Davos, Switzerland, expressing concern about the world’s future because of the reliance on meat in our diets. They recommend everyone swear an oath to veganism and eat seaweed, algae, cacti, and avocado seeds. Gamblers can safely bet the farm that the billionaires in Davos did not eat algae.
God warns us in I Timothy 4:3 in the last days men would forbid the eating of meat and abstaining from marriage!
Suppose you’re stranded on a leaking lifeboat in the middle of the ocean with 5 other people. The problem is the boat will only hold 4, so two passengers must jump overboard or be thrown overboard. One passenger is CEO of a major corporation; another is a surgeon skilled in saving helpless children; another is Stacey Abrams, pretender to the Georgia Governor’s office; another is a glib college student, and an unemployed person recently fired and now waiting for the results of a recent job application. The boat is leaking badly. Two of you have to go. Whom do you throw overboard? I don’t think the unemployed man has to worry about his job application, nor will the college student have to worry about his student loans. Both are expendable.
The obvious point is people have different values in today’s world, but no person or board or any political entity has the authority to decide on a person’s worth.
But then, if Stacey would choose to do the manly thing and jump overboard, that would solve the theoretical problem. However, the food problem is not theoretical. And Stacey’s decision, like all her decisions, is totally irrelevant.
Today, leaders who allegedly are levelheaded, honest, informed, and concerned say starvation is ahead, first in third world nations then here.

As a born again Bible believing Christian I see our political system here in Australia and the USA being controlled by that old Serpent, the Devil, which is according to Ephesians 2:2 …the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. Many of the laws and rules formulated by these politicians in Australia and the USA are anti-God and anti-citizen. Here is one example.
‘The Biden administration announced in May that K-12 schools must allow boys into girls’ bathrooms in order to qualify for federal funds used to pay for school lunches.
The move, which was made by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service, was made based on the interpretation of the prohibition on discrimination based on sex, as detailed in Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as well as the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008.
As detailed by the USDA, the action is “in line with President Biden’s Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation, and is consistent with the Supreme Court’s decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, in which the Court held that the prohibition on sex discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 extends to discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.”
In other words, unless schools allow transgender-identifying students to enter the bathrooms of their choosing, schools will be cut off entirely from federal funds and be unable to pay for food served in the cafeteria.
Speaking to the Federalist, a U.S. Department of Education spokesman said that the Biden administration intends to follow the announcement with formal rulemaking in June.
The move has sparked a backlash among conservative organizations, who have condemned the Biden administration for weaponizing progressive politics at the cost of feeding hungry kids.
“It seems to be playing politics with feeding poor kids, which is really unfortunate,” said John Elcesser, executive director of the Indiana Non-Public Education Association in an interview with the Federalist. “Because if a school feels like they cannot participate because it’s in conflict with their mission or values, if a religious exemption is not granted, you’re taking away a program that’s feeding low-income kids.”
As detailed by the publication, the National School Lunch Program fed nearly 30 million kids every school day in around 100,000 public and private schools, and residential care facilities.
Following the implementation of this new policy, establishments that accept food stamps or other federal food funding are required to allow men into women’s private spaces, including showers and sleeping areas.
Additionally, these organizations are to provide training for employees and staff to not “misgender” anyone and use the pronouns of their choice. These organizations are also required to allow male staff to dress as women while working.
The Federalist reported:
“Government schools can receive no exemption. At best, parents and taxpayers can urge school districts to not comply while inevitable lawsuits over the Biden administration’s interpretation work through courts for years.”
…
“Even if this regulation is ultimately overturned by one means or another, millions of American children will be forced to eat their school lunches with a side of sexual politics.”‘https://www.rebelnews.com/biden_usda_schools_embrace_transgender_deprived_of_food_funds
‘One of the fascinating things about maps is that they give us a bird’s eye view of God’s creation.
When we were filming at Cedarville University in 2021, Dr. John Whitmore pulled out a map of the Grand Canyon to provide some perspective on what he and Dr. Andrew Snelling accomplished on their research trip. (You can watch this in the video at the end of the post.)
Dr. Snelling’s research provides the backbone for our upcoming film. In 2017, he and Dr. Whitmore traveled by boat down the Colorado River to collect a series of rock samples at different points in the Canyon. Their primary interest was understanding more about the enormous folded rock layers at the bottom of the Canyon.

Were those layers soft and pliable when they formed, or were they hard and brittle? If it could be demonstrated they were soft when they folded, they couldn’t be hundreds of millions of years old. This new research could therefore provide important new evidence of a global flood and a young earth.
Although the folds appear to be smooth at normal observational levels, Andrew knew he needed to look at the rocks under the microscope. What did they reveal at a crystalline level? Did they show evidence of slow movement while brittle over a long period, or rapid movement while soft over a short period?
To test his theory, Andrew needed to collect two different series of samples from the same layer of rock. One series would be taken from where the rock layer was sharply folded; the other series would be taken many miles aways where the same rock layer was lying flat. By comparing these samples, he would have a good indication of the condition of the rock when it folded.

‘Violence is out of control in most cities, especially Democrat-controlled cities, and much of the violence is unexpected, unexplained, and usually unprosecuted. The shootings are typically done by adolescents, yet not one has been executed since it would be too traumatic for the public to see a trembling, weeping teen executed.
I would also be horrified to see a young person walk “the last mile” to the death room. He sobs, he shouts, he’s sorry, but he dies; and his deserved death could save thousands of innocent lives if a nation’s impressionable young people realize that they would forfeit their lives if they kill. Society is not ready or willing to have young people executed since that isn’t civilized; however, they are willing to continue permitting innocent people to be slaughtered in the name of civility.
And permit killers to grow old on death row.
Something must be done, and I have a partial answer. First, I must place my tongue firmly in cheek and then proceed with my solution to gun violence in America. While frivolous, it makes as much sense as our present policy.
It appears school leaders, church officials, prosecutors, police, and other officials have lost all common sense, or everyone is on drugs. Or maybe we now have a generation of uncaring adolescents reared by unprincipled parents, educated by unknowledgeable teachers, and impressed by unregulated social media to fulfill an elusive, temporary fame that will destroy them and our nation.
It seems everyone is pretending to stop gun violence without making the difficult decisions to solve or ameliorate the problem.
My solution makes as much sense as the current practice.
A 7-year-old student had the gall to use a pencil as a pretend gun, but a courageous school official quickly dealt with the threat by suspending the culprit. Another student was suspended for “shooting” fellow students with a pretend bow and arrow. Hey, those pretend bows can be dangerous.
Are you getting the point? Certified nuts are in places of authority.
In another dangerous incident, a first-grade teacher was suspended for “shooting” his students during recess. Still, another student was suspended for a year for pretending to throw a hand grenade—an explosive situation. That was a pretend grenade. The local sheriff was involved a couple of times, but no one went to jail.
No surprise that our cities are in trouble.
Anarchy reigns in America’s schools, and something, anything must be done to stop the pretend violence. Still, it is encouraging to know that we have such stalwart, aware, and dedicated school personnel to “nip it in the bud” before it worsens.
If school personnel can’t or won’t take charge, the local constabularies will handle it with their handcuffs, nightsticks, or whatever to put down the danger.
It’s getting worse and more dangerous. Two 6-year-old students in Maryland were suspended for pretending to throw rocks at each other on the playground. Children start by pretending to throw rocks, but tomorrow they will throw them. It’s about time we got serious right here in River City about the violence that rocks (especially “assault” rocks) play in our society, and we must act now for the children’s sake.
It may be rocks today, but tomorrow it will be pretending to shoot with a pencil or hand. Then, who knows? A kid may come to school with a make-believe bazooka.
I walked out of our post office and saw a nine or ten-year-old boy sitting alone in the front seat of a truck. As I walked by him, I raised my right hand and “shot” him, and he fell over “dead.” I suppose I could have been arrested, and many would say I should have been arrested. I suppose I am too thoughtless and careless about the violence in America.
If we are really serious about protecting people from violence, we should ban all guns, knives, hammers, clubs (far more people were killed last year with hammers and clubs than with assault rifles), frozen meat, bats, bras (since one man killed his wife with her bra), and rocks. Especially rocks. I even have a rock patio and rock garden, so I may be part of the problem.
Rocks are really dangerous since they are so plentiful and easily attained. It is good that schools make a pretend rock-throwing action unlawful. Stop the madness now with a ban on all rocks, even pretend rocks. To quote Mayberry’s famous philosopher Barney Fife, “Nip it in the bud.”
Let’s not play around with this issue when lives are in the balance. Get serious and eventually ban all rocks in all places, weights, and sizes. If we save even one life, it will be worthwhile. I know the conservative bleating hearts will scream, but they are mean, mad, and malicious people. Who cares what they think? They spend all their time clinging to their rocks as they read their King James Bible, so who cares about them? They drive around town in their pickup trucks with a huge load of rocks in the back. What does an honest person need with all those dangerous rocks?
All sane people know rocks are evil. Children, especially boys, tend to throw rocks at other children, birds, cats, and innocent animals. Rocks are evil and must be illegal, and even pictures of rocks should be unlawful. There’s a place near Chattanooga called Rock City, and people actually pay an entrance fee to see and support rocks.
Scandalous!
Maybe not today, but soon, America will be rock-less except for the police, FBI, CIA, FEMA, IRS, BATF, military, security guards, celebrity bodyguards, senators, etc. Only the elite need rocks. For those fanatics who declare their right to have rocks, we can shame them into silence. Make them feel like criminals for having rocks. Put them on the defense; after all, only a fool says there is a natural right to have a rock. Many say they not only have a right to have a rock for self-defense or to kill dangerous critters, but they have a right to have a rock because they like rocks.
What normal person actually likes rocks? There are actually rock collectors out there.
It may be difficult to ban all rocks since the National Rock Association (NRA) is such a powerful and heartless organization, and all the rednecks belong to it. The NRA is getting rich from fees by selling memberships, coffee mugs, sweatshirts, etc. So, we may have to ban the biggest rocks and eventually ban smaller rocks when another tragedy happens. You know, “don’t let a crisis go to waste.” We must take advantage of every situation to finally take every rock away from every American. You know, a totally rock-less America.
For a while, we will require a license of all rock owners and have to settle for incrementally taking the rocks. We can charge large fees for their license; the bigger the rock, the bigger the fee. This will also give us a list of all rock owners and their locations. You know what happens next—confiscation. Why require a license if you don’t plan to pick up all rocks?
Arrest any person seen with a rock unless he has a permit to carry it until we can make it illegal to have a rock for any reason. Even with a license, the size and shape of the rock should be restricted. Some rocks are more dangerous than others. I remind the heathen out there that young David killed a giant of a man with a smooth rock, but David had a total of five rocks. It should have been illegal to have an excessive number of rocks. That is overkill. The law must stipulate that no licensed person can have more than one rock in his possession at any time. After all, why does a person need more than one rock? Such people are obviously up to no good, and innocent lives are at stake.
Rocks should be registered for size, weight, color, and sharp edges and kept under lock and key by rock owners. Of course, no felon or mentally unstable person should be permitted to possess dangerous rocks, but then no politician could legally have rocks. (Of course, politicians are accused of having rocks in the upper portion of their anatomy!) Not sure how small or large a prohibited rock should be, but we’ll leave that small detail to the regulators. Surely, we can trust them to be reasonable. Or a better idea is to put the Vice President in charge of all defense laws if we can tear her away from the border.
Until we can pass laws banning all rocks, we should close all Rock Throwing Ranges where the sole purpose is to become more proficient in rock throwing. After all, such activities are dangerous and will destroy a neighborhood. Moreover, none of those ranges did an environmental impact study before they were built, so we can close them down without new laws! We should use any pretext to destroy the whole rock business—for the children, of course.
Rock fanatics will resist these common-sense suggestions and speak of never, never, never giving up their rock until it is pried from their cold, stiff fingers. Well, we can arrange that, can’t we!
There is little doubt that the first murder in history was perpetrated by a rock; let’s go to the root of the problem—ban all rocks!
And we might start our crusade with a rock buy-back program.https://donboys.cstnews.com/we-can-solve-the-gun-violence-problem-by-banning-you-wont-believe-what
