‘What state is the church in when a Christian college fires a Christian lecturer for defending a Christian understanding of sexuality? This week, news broke of Dr Aaron Edwards, a lecturer at Cliff College, Derbyshire, a Methodist Bible college, who was sacked and even threatened with a counter-terrorism referral for sharing a tweet on human sexuality that went viral. The father of five was told that for sharing the Christian view of sexuality, he had brought “the college into disrepute.” Tim Dieppe is joined by Aaron on this week’s Round the Table, as well as Joe Boot, founder of the Ezra Institute, to discuss how changes in the UK Church’s doctrine on marriage and sexuality is leading to more confusion and cases like this. The liberal media portray themselves as the “independent fact-checkers,” but the facts take a hike when they’re lining up with liberals on “gender-affirming care”…and “safe” abortions. This week as were checking on the Associated Press flagging us for “missing context” on Silicon Valley Bank, it became obvious that AP was “missing context” by claiming abortions by pill are “safe and effective.” For which half of the abortion? For the baby?
Under the headline “Research shows medication abortions are safe,” the “fact check” by Josh Kelety began:
CLAIM: Medication abortions are dangerous, and result in high rates of infection and hemorrhage. Parts of the baby are also left in the womb following the procedure.

We’ve abdicated our position as the world’s only superpower and we’re allowing a partnership of two tyrannical countries to begin replacing us.
Everyone in the national media this week was worrying about whether Donald Trump was going to be arrested in New York.
Not me.
In a radio interview with San Diego talk show host Mark Larson, I said I didn’t care what was going to happen to Trump.
“What I’m really worried about,” I said to my old friend, “is the meeting going on in Moscow between the two most dangerous men in the world — Xi and Putin.”
The head despots of Russia and China were having a meet-up in person to get control of half of the world and what was the president of the United States doing?
