I wonder why (I really know why) so many farms quit using the old “wind”mills!?

Pray Trump gets elected in spite of the Communists presently in government!!!
Wake up Australia!!!!!!!
The Finns are in, the French led the way (and they’re demanding more) and now the Italians have joined Europe’s nuclear power renaissance.
Italy’s Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni recently reversed her country’s legislated moratorium against the cleanest and most reliable form of power generation there is. Meloni’s move makes way for the reactivation of 3 plants shuttered after the moratorium took effect – Caorso (860MW), Enrico Fermi (260MW) and Latina (153MW) along with plans to build all new plants, as well as tapping into the latest small modular reactor technology.
As Duggan Flanakin reports below, any country with any sense has already signed up to a nuclear-powered future.
Italy Returns to Nuclear Sanity. Shouldn’t We?

DO IT!!!!!!
By Bonner Cohen, Ph.D. ~
Governor Glenn Youngkin’s pledge to remove Virginia from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) was approved on June 7 by the state’s Air Pollution Control Board, raising the prospects that Virginia’s ratepayers may soon be rid of an onerous RGGI-related carbon tax.

“Today’s common-sense vote by the Air Board to repeal RGGI protects Virginians from the failed program that is not only a regressive tax on families, but also does nothing to reduce pollution,” Youngkin, a Republican, said in a statement after the vote.
Now that Youngkin’s proposal has cleared the Air Pollution Control Board, it will move to an executive review period, after which it is expected to be posted in the Virginia Register. Once it is posted in its final form, environmental groups favorable to RGGI are expected to file lawsuits challenging the governor’s move. The state’s administrative procedures, coupled with the…

The former president made his appearance, denounced the charges, and quickly got back into campaign mode.It was the least surprising news of the week. Or the month. Or the year.
Yesterday, in a Miami courthouse, Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to Team Biden’s 37-count felony indictment on charges that he mishandled classified documents, refused to return them, and obstructed “justice” along the way. (Incidentally, those of you who object to our characterization of this as Team Biden’s indictment or our snarky scare quotes around the word “justice” might want to check out other conservative commentary, where the Trump hatred is rich and unfettered. Here in our humble shop, though, we’ll strive for a more balanced analysis.)
As the Adulterated Press reports, “The history-making court date, centered on charges that Trump mishandled government secrets that as commander-in-chief he was entrusted to protect, kickstarts…

Unfortunately, this isn’t a comedy like Sanford and Son!
The man whose billions fund the destruction of America and the West is keeping the business in the family. Some of our best friends are Jewish.
And now, having said that, let us commence with an attack on the vile human being named George Soros, who just so happens to be Jewish. Soros, at 92, is getting up there in age, and he’s passing things on to his 37-year-old son who brags “I’m more political” than the old man.
More political than George Soros? How can that be?
Sunday’s Wall Street Journal tells us all about it, heralding this news in a lengthy and friendly interview whose subhead reads, “In his first interview as successor, Alex Soros says the family’s $25 billion philanthropic enterprise will boost its support for voting and abortion rights.”
Great.
“George Soros, the legendary investor, philanthropist and right-wing target,” the…

When the turbines do not turn just have the politicians that love these things begin their speeches on how well this will work. They are wind bags enough to do the job!!!
The heroic attempt to increasingly rely on unreliable wind power ultimately reveals itself as suicidal.
Driving reliable conventional generators off the grid and hoping that they will be replaced (in substance) by chaotically intermittent wind power comes with a grab bag of consequences.
Rocketing power prices follow as night follows day; the result of incorporating the subsidies that led to wind power generation in the first place, and paying over the market prices for power generated using expensive gas or diesel fuel run through fast-start up Open Cycle Gas Turbines or even internal combustion ship engines, all of which are inefficient and costly to run.
Then come the blackouts, for the reasons laid out by John Hinderaker below.
Here Come the Blackouts

You can’t replace reliable energy (coal, nuclear, natural gas) with unreliable energy that most of the time produces nothing (wind and…
