‘British doctors now openly beg for more lockdowns because they say they can’t rely on vaccines

This new piece from Reuters – hardly a outpost of anti-vax fanaticism – should terrify vaccine advocates.
And, honestly, scare the rest of us.
A reminder: Britain has pursued a mass vaccination strategy as aggressively as any country. It approved Pfizer’s vaccine even before the FDA. More than 80% of Britons over 16 are now fully vaccinated.
But Britain is in far worse shape than it was at this time last year, when no one was vaccinated. It is now averaging about 140 deaths a day, roughly 10 times as many as mid-September 2020. And hospitalizations and deaths continue to rise.
But Britain – which had a very strict and economically damaging lockdown last year – has essentially given up on lockdowns and other national control measures. Over the weekend, or even dropped the plan for a vaccine passport (though it has since backtracked a bit).
Now Reuters reports British physicians are warning the vaccines don’t work well enough to allow the country to return to normal:
The piece is an unfortunate exercise in unintentional irony, as when it sincerely refers to the “success” of vaccinations two paragraphs after explaining that “relying largely on vaccines… could put unintentional pressure on hospitals.”
And then there’s this:
Imagine how much higher – I mean lower, of course, definitely lower – hospitalizations would be if Britain could just get to 100% vaccinated!

‘A new study from Israel, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, claims that “fully vaccinated” people are significantly more likely to get infected with COVID-19 and develop symptoms requiring hospitalization than those who are unvaccinated and have the natural immunity that comes from catching the virus and recovering.
The study, Comparing SARS-CoV-2 natural immunity to vaccine-induced immunity: reinfections versus breakthrough infections, examined medical records of tens of thousands of people between the dates of June 1 and August 14 and is currently the largest real-world observational study to date on coronavirus immunity with respects to both vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
The study found that “fully vaccinated” people are 27 times more likely to be infected and develop COVID-19 symptoms than unvaccinated people with natural immunity. The study also found that “fully vaccinated” people are 8 times more likely to be hospitalized from a “breakthrough” infection.

As National File previously reported, the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the US appears to be nearly twice as deadly as the second wave, which occurred months before hundreds of millions of people received vaccinations for coronavirus. According to data from the CDC, US coronavirus death rates in the first ten days September 2021 are nearly twice as high as they were during the first ten days of September 2020.
While the Biden administration and international health authorities insist that the current outbreak of coronavirus is a “pandemic of the unvaccinated,” studies are indicating that vaccinated people are dying from COVID at a higher rate than unvaccinated people as mainstream news outlets scramble to justify them. “At first glance, this may seem alarming, but it is exactly as would be expected,” reported The Conversation.

‘The Leader of the United Australia Party, Craig Kelly, has condemned the statements made by NSW Premier Berejiklian at her daily media conferences.

‘The Victorian Police Chief Commissioner Shane Patton announced that two separate Covid commands have been set up with operations extending until at least the end of 2022 – possibly indefinitely.
One command is expected to manage Covid quarantine operations with the hotel system and any additional purpose-built quarantine facilities. The second is a response command designed to handle the daily task of enforcing state health mandates within the community.
Victoria is building at least one designated quarantine facility, strongly suggesting that far from ‘living with Covid’, the state government will attempt to manage the virus by restricting the flow of people into the state.
“We are establishing two commands,” said Commissioner Patton. “One is the Covid Quarantine Command which is obviously tied up in the quarantine hotels and with the new facility – tied up there. And one is the Covid Response Command which is the day-to-day operation.”
Commissioner Patton hinted that Covid and its associated health orders were going to become a permanent feature of the Victorian landscape, even after the termination of the state’s emergency powers.
“From a Victorian Police perspective, it’s here to stay for the foreseeable future. We’ve set these commands up as a minimum until the end of 2022.”
The news will concern individuals and business owners who were hoping for a return to normal after the vaccination levels reached a high enough figure to unlock the economy. ‘UAP Chairman Clive Palmer says he welcomes the legal threats made by the head of the TGA, John Skerritt, against the Federal Leader of the United Australia Party, Craig Kelly.
“Any legal action against Craig Kelly or the United Australia Party will provide an opportunity to subpoena and cross examine John Skerritt and Greg Hunt about each of the 483 deaths which have been reported to the TGA and the 75 pages of over 46,000 reported adverse reactions.
“If John Skerrit seeks a legal confrontation by threatening to take Craig Kelly – a member of the House of Representatives who has sworn to protect all Australians – to court I am sure the truth will be revealed.
“All Mr Kelly did was publish the TGA’s own reports which all Australians have a right to know,” Mr Palmer said.
“The TGA report clearly highlights that the COVID-19 vaccine treatment has been responsible the deaths of 483 Australians and over 46,000 adverse reactions,” he said.
“We would welcome any chance to see Professor Skerritt cross-examined under oath so the truth can be heard about the vaccinations and the harmful effects they have on thousands of Australians.
“The United Australia Party would like to hold the Government to account for providing pharmaceutical companies with a full indemnity if they kill or cause harm to Australians being administered COVID vaccines,” Mr Palmer said.
“We would be questioning why the Government has given the pharmaceutical companies an indemnity for any claims related to the injuries and deaths their vaccines may cause.
“It should be concerning for all Australians that we don’t have the required one, three or five-year safety data for the use of this vaccine on humans or animals, and there has been no safety testing on pregnant women or children,” Mr Palmer said.
“History has shown that governments have often been wrong. That propaganda and cover-ups have often taken place. That millions have died because people in authority lack the courage and the proprietary to follow through with the principles and ethics of their calling,” Mr Palmer said.

“The Hight Court of Australia has reconfirmed the implied term in our constitution of political free speech.
