We have spent time around Atlanta since we have a daughter living there so I thought I would share this humerous story from that great city.
‘Today’s feel-good story comes from the Deep Blue city of Atlanta, Georgia, where a city councilman who voted to defund the police had his car stolen in broad daylight.
Last year, Councilman Antonio Brown voted to remove a cool $73 million from the Atlanta police budget. On Wednesday, while “attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony at an event in northeast Atlanta around noon … at least four kids jumped into his car and took off,” Fox News reported.
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
This dumbass, who got exactly what he deserves, is currently running for mayor and described the car thieves as being between the ages of five and twelve. Five and twelve! The senior car thief was twelve. His partner-in-crime was a literal kindergartner!
Brown said the thieves jumped in his vehicle Wednesday after he got out to speak with community leader Ben Norman. He noted his white Mercedes-Benz coupe has keyless push-to-start ignition and he failed to realize it had been started, reports said.

“One kid was in the driver’s seat. Ben attempted to open the door to get him out of the car. He fought with Ben. I then engaged and tried to get him out of the car. The three other kids were trying to figure out how to get in the car or stay out of the car. He started to hit on the gas,” Brown said.

Brown added that he held on to the car in an attempt to stop them and was dragged about a block down the road before letting go.
“As [the car thief] started to speed up,” Brown explained, “I knew that if I had not let go, I knew I probably could have killed myself because he was going so fast, I would have started to tumble. And I would have hurt him.”
I would have hurt him?
How would a city councilman rolling off a speeding car hurt the thief driving the car? Was he worried he’d roll in front of the car and the thief would bump his head as he drove over him?
How does someone this stupid become a councilman?
Here’s my favorite part… The idiot has no plans to file charges. “Brown doesn’t plan on filing charges against the kids, who he says acted out of desperation[.]”
“This is a generational poverty issue,” he said. “These kids, it’s 12:30 in the afternoon. Why aren’t they in school? Why aren’t we enforcing systems to ensure that if they are not in school, they’re in recreational centers?”
Oh, yeah, that’s the problem… In a country where even the poorest of the poor have cable TV, Internet, iPhones, videogames, air conditioning, and obesity issues, the problem is that these little hooligans don’t have enough distractions in their life.
The problem is that these wretches don’t have enough to do, the problem is that kids will always-always-always do whatever they are allowed to get away with and in a Democrat-run city like Atlanta, they know they can get clean away with stealing an councilman’s Benz.
Brown isn’t doing these kids any kind of favor refusing to hold them accountable. He’s only ensuring their doom. Discipline saves kids from a life of crime. Accountability is crucial in raising a child into a mentally healthy, well-rounded adult. My heart breaks for these kids. they live in a city where no one gives enough of a damn about them to teach them how to grow up.
Before you ask yourself just how stupid Atlanta’s Democrats have to be to vote for someone this obtuse to run their city, add into your equation the news that Brown is currently under federal indictment for fraud.

‘Wheaton College today revealed the wording of a new plaque honoring slain missionaries and alumni, Jim Elliot and Ed McCully, which will replace a previous plaque some considered demeaning of indigenous people.
Wheaton removed the previous plaque from the foyer of the college’s main chapel in March, after about a dozen students and staff complained about the plaque’s language.
The previous plaque referred to the men who speared Elliott and McCully in Ecuador in 1956—along with Nate Saint, Roger Youderian, and Pete Fleming—as “savage Indians.” According to the Wheaton website, the reworded plaque will refer to the missionaries’ killers as “indigenous people.”
The new plaque also refers to the killers’ tribe as “Waorani,” instead of “Auca”—a derogatory term, which translated means “naked savage.”
“The reworded plaque will carry forward the memory at Wheaton College of brave missionaries and their sacrificial witness, while at the same time respecting the Waorani people with whom (the missionaries) shared the gospel of the love of Christ,” the college said in a statement released today.
At the time of the murders, the Waorani had a reputation as the world’s most violent people. But the missionaries carefully worked to build trust with the Waorani by giving them gifts. After a few friendly meetings with the tribe, a few tribe members turned on the missionaries and killed them.
Despite the murders, Jim Elliot’s wife, Elisabeth Elliot, and Nate Saint’s sister, Rachel Saint, returned to the tribe and eventually led many of the Waorani to faith in Christ. Some of those converted included Jim Elliot’s and Nate Saint’s killers.
A gift by the Wheaton College Class of 1949 to honor their fallen classmates, the original plaque was donated in 1957.
“In the 64 years since the College received this gift, we have continued to grow in our understanding of how to show God’s love and respect to people from every culture,” said Wheaton College President Philip Ryken. “We have also learned much more about God’s ongoing work among the Waorani. We welcome this opportunity to ensure that we tell this unforgettable story in ways that reflect the full dignity of people made in the image of God.”
The new wording was recommended by a task force led by Wheaton Alumni Association President Beverly Liefeld Hancock, who’s the daughter of Pete Fleming’s widow, Olive Fleming Liefeld, and New Testament theologian Walter Liefeld.
Also serving on the task force was a faculty historian, a faculty missiologist, an undergraduate student, and a graduate student.
“We are deeply grateful to this remarkable team for their thoughtful work to continue the legacy of five missionaries who gave their lives to spread the gospel,” Ryken said.
The college plans to dedicate the new plaque in the lobby of Edman Chapel this fall.

God called them to the rainforest of Ecuador and the Waorani, a people who had never heard the gospel message. Known for their violence to encroaching outsiders and for internal cycles of vengeance killing, they were among the most feared indigenous peoples in South America at the time.
After much preparation and prayer, and weeks of friendly gift exchanges by airplane, the missionaries made peaceful ground contact with the Waorani. On January 8, 1956, as the missionaries anticipated a second friendly encounter, the Waorani attacked. All five men were speared to death—martyrs for the love of Christ.
Their sacrifice was a turning point for the Waorani and an inspiration for evangelical missions globally. Inviting members of the men’s families to live with them, the Waorani responded to the gospel and put down their spears. ‘In order to have evolution, you must first have life. Both sides of the evolution-creation debate agree that the chance of all the correct biomolecules coming together by chance to form even the simplest cell is virtually impossible. Fred Hoyle1 (an atheist) estimated the probability as one chance in 1040,000. He compared the likelihood of life originating on Earth to that of a tornado going through a junkyard and assembling a 747 airplane. Even if this improbability actually happened, one would have an inert, non-operating 747 in a junkyard rut. To operate it (bring it to “life”), its engines would have to be jumpstarted, its electronics activated, and a pilot provided to operate it.
Some evolutionists argue that life must have originated spontaneously because life exists. So, what would happen if a “tornado” actually whipped through a biological junkyard and assembled a simple cell? The answer is simple: absolutely nothing. Another “highly improbable” event is required for life to exist—the inert assemblage molecule must be elevated into a higher state.
This was shown by Nobel Prize-winning chemist and evolutionist Ilya Prigogine.2 He is famous for pointing out two aspects of life: it is dissipative and far from equilibrium. All living organisms are dissipative (constantly decaying to a lower state per the Second Law of Thermodynamics) and need a constant supply of energy to repair the decay and operate, just like a 747 needs a constant flow of fuel to fly.3
If a system at equilibrium is disturbed, physics tells us it simply decays back to equilibrium.4 A small displacement from equilibrium is not sufficient to change its state. Give a small push to a vehicle in a rut (at equilibrium), and it simply rolls back into the rut. Life needs a really big push for it to exist far from equilibrium—another near impossibility if we wait for this to happen by chance.
How impossible? Before life existed, the probability of assembling molecules into a life configuration was virtually impossible. But now, life exists everywhere! All the correct molecules are assembled in the correct order. When the living thing dies, all the required molecules are still there in the correct order, just without operating—there’s no life. If life occurred spontaneously, shouldn’t dead creatures just spontaneously spring back to life? No, because life is far from equilibrium! Many trillions of creatures have died, remained dead, and decayed.
In conclusion, life is not just the correct assemblage of molecules; life requires being in an elevated state of existence. It requires the “spark” of life, or the “breath” of life, to make the lifeless molecules operate. Otherwise, nothing happens except decay.
The next logical question is, where does the breath of life come from? Interestingly enough, Genesis, written nearly 3,500 years ago, got this right! After God performed the impossible task of forming man from the dust of the ground, man did not spontaneously spring to life. God needed to perform another impossible task: breathing life into him to make him a living being.5 The short answer is that the breath of life came, and comes, from God.

This powerful verse introduces Paul’s burning description of the descent of ancient human societies that once “knew God” (Romans 1:21) into evolutionary paganism, idolatry, and wickedness. This deterioration was willful and inexcusable, for they had abundant evidence of God’s nature and power in the very creation that they had chosen to worship instead of the Creator (Romans 1:25).
Even though God Himself was invisible (being omnipresent), they could easily see the evidence of His existence and His grace in creating and sustaining all things, “for God hath shewed it unto them” (Romans 1:19). “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork” (Psalm 19:1).
Since these things were “clearly seen” and “understood” by men “from the creation of the world” (that is, from the time the world was created), it is obvious that there have been men and women there to see and understand these things ever since the world was created. This assures us that the creation did not take place billions of years before men appeared on Earth, as theistic evolutionists and progressive creationists would like to believe.
