Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
‘In the beginning – about 13.8 billion years ago – there was nothing. There were no atoms or molecules, and no forces. Then, suddenly, for no reason at all – Bang! Everything came into existence, and began to expand.
But that slow expansion can’t explain how all of space in the universe is about the same temperature, so a few millionths of a second after that Big Bang, everything went fizz and expanded very, very rapidly indeed for another few millionths of a second before it all returned to its earlier slow expansion. And scientists called this fizz Cosmic Inflation, and saw that it was good – well, perhaps not that good, but at least it made the difficult sums work out – mostly.
Yes, I am being satirical. That’s because it is a mythology that deserves to be satirized. Because not even the story I have given you is enough! Somehow, there had to be heat energy at the end of the inflation period, but the processes so far described would have resulted in a cold universe – “a cold, homogeneous goop”, as one scientist put it. So Big Bang cosmogonists have to further theorize that a reheating phase had to happen to get all the material in the new universe into a form that could expand to form our current universe.

‘There is often a difference between the exemplary work carried out by evolutionary scientists and the unmerited spin that they choose to put on their observations. One recent article on a popular science website, announcing that there are many Earth-like planets throughout the galaxy, is a case in point. The article features brilliant work done on analyzing the chemistry of atmospheres around certain white dwarf stars. This can be done only by spectroscopy. Results show a good many elements present – silicon, magnesium, carbon, oxygen, and iron. The iron, in particular, appears to be oxidized. We should congratulate such scientists on the quality of their work.
Where they let themselves down is an insistence that all such data should be interpreted in an evolutionary way. The researchers assume that all of these elements came, not from the star, but from shattered planets and asteroids that once orbited the star and were pulled apart by the star’s gravity. They suggest, therefore, that the broken planets must have been Earth-like – and, hence, could obviously once have had life, like Earth does.
Even more telling is that the article’s author does not understand the science involved. “When iron is oxidized, it shares its electrons with oxygen, forming a chemical bond between them,” opines the author, even though the researcher correctly explains the oxidation in terms of electron transfer rather than sharing.

I’m left handed and have found it to be a hinderance in doing somethings in life so I found this article quite interesting! I believe you will as well.

‘If I were to ask you whether you are left-handed or right-handed, you would probably answer with most people that you are right-handed. While that may be true, you are also left-handed … and your life depends on it.
Biologists have absolutely no idea why molecules of living things are left-handed. You see, when biological molecules are made in “origin of life” experiments, they are always a mixture of both left-handed and right-handed molecules – mirror images of each other that won’t work together in living things. A right-handed amino acid can be chemically identical to a left-handed amino acid. But for some mysterious reason, a living organism will treat the right-handed amino acid as if it were useless, even though normal chemical reactions ignore the difference. This tells us that living things are much more that just the result of chemical reactions. As the Bible suggests when it describes the creation of life, living material is different in some very important ways from nonliving material.
The fact that life uses only left-handed versions of biological molecules poses another problem for those who think that life formed spontaneously without a Creator. While experiments show that some simple biological molecules can be formed in the laboratory, experiments always produce a mixture of left- and right-handed molecules.
So life’s origin, with its left-handed-only molecules, remains a mystery to those who reject the Creator. Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”
‘A recent article on a popular science website featured the Andromeda Galaxy – a neighboring galaxy to our own Milky Way, and a source of fascination to me since I was a child. The article accused the Andromeda Galaxy of cannibalism, saying that it had eaten a number of other galaxies and was now heading our way, ready to devour the Milky Way.
One researcher explained, “The Milky Way is on a collision course with Andromeda in about four billion years. So knowing what kind of a monster our galaxy is up against is useful in finding out the Milky Way’s ultimate fate. Andromeda has a much bigger and more complex stellar halo than the Milky Way, which indicates that it has cannibalised many more galaxies, possibly larger ones.”
Now, before you start panicking, even evolutionary astrophysicists are not heading for underground shelters just yet. They think that the galactic collision will take place in about 4 billion years. Now, a lot happens in 4 billion years to a deep-time cosmologist. They believe that Earth was formed 4.5 billion years ago.
And herein lies the problem with their hysteria. Their observation of Andromeda’s stellar halo is very interesting, but their interpretation of future events is based on incorrect presuppositions of the past. The Bible tells us that “the heavens declare the glory of God”, and that presupposition increases our wonder at God’s creation. “And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.” (Genesis 2:9)
‘It is significant that the first reference to “science” in the Bible is in connection with the tree of the “science” of good and evil. The English word “science” comes from the Latin scientia, meaning “knowledge.” In both Old and New Testaments, “science” and “knowledge” translate the same Greek and Hebrew words respectively. Science—properly speaking—is what we know, not naturalistic speculation (as in evolutionary “science”). Adam and Eve knew a great deal about God and His creation, and all of it was “very good” (Genesis 1:31); they did not need to have a knowledge of evil, and God warned them against it (2:17).
But they partook of the evil tree anyway, and therewith evil knowledge entered the hearts and minds of mankind. Throughout the long ages since, true science has been of great good in the world and false science has wrought great harm. The apostle Paul has warned us against it: “Keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called” (1 Timothy 6:20). In the context of the times, Paul was specifically warning against the evolutionary pantheism of the gnostic philosophers.
In contrast, the final climactic reference in the Bible to knowledge is Peter’s exhortation to “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7), and in Jesus Christ “are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). ‘In the fourth century BC, the Greek philosopher Democritus proposed that matter was made of small particles. He assumed that, if you kept cutting material up, you would eventually get to a particle which was uncuttable – the smallest possible particle. The Greek for uncuttable is atomos – hence, the idea of atoms was born.
In the 19th Century, scientists began to suspect that atoms were made of smaller particles. In 1913, Niels Bohr proposed his atomic model of tiny electrons orbiting a nucleus comprised of larger particles called protons and neutrons – collectively known as hadrons.
In the 1960s, scientists began to suspect that hadrons were composed of smaller particles. These particles became known as quarks. Instead of positive and negative bipolar charges, quarks have three-way attractions, which are labeled as color charges of red, blue, and green, even though these colors are not real. Bombardment of hadrons by electrons has caused electrons to be deflected in a manner which suggests the existence of quarks.
All of this seemed to help us understand the nature of matter at the tiny quantum level. But now, some physicists are suggesting that the effect previously ascribed to quarks may just be the observed consequences of quantum weak interactions. In other words, quarks may not even exist.

All of this questioning of one’s gender is anti-God the Creator. Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
