I grew up in Iowa and haven’t been ashamed of that fact until now.
‘An incredible story out of Iowa, where an Ames man was sentenced to 16 years in prison for burning an LGBTQ rainbow flag.
Adolfo Martinez stole a gay pride flag flying outside a church and torched it in front of a men’s strip club. NBCNews reports he was sentenced “to 15 years for the hate crime of arson and given a year for reckless use of explosives or fire and 30 days for harassment.” His sentence was enhanced by the fact that he was a “habitual offender.”
So why 16 years? A local pastor explains.
Ames Church of Christ Minister Eileen Gebbie said the sentencing was both heartbreaking and justified.
“Nobody got shot (and) nobody was sexually assaulted,” Gebbie said. “It was a banner. How much does that hurt? But I had to reflect on the fear it created in our sanctuary. People became afraid to go to church. We had to continue to talk about how to prepare for an active shooter and we learned from the trial Mr. Martinez had been watching our church for some time.”
So “fear”= 15 years? I always thought Lady Justice was supposed to be blind, and that “justice” was a concept that was defined by reason, balance, and fairness. But this is madness. This is vengeful.
The prosecutor believes the sentence was fair.
“I believe him to be very dangerous,” Story County Attorney Jessica Reynolds said. “That’s why my office recommended the maximum sentence.”
Reynolds said the judge agreed to the 17-year sentence because Martinez has a long history of harassment and is a habitual offender and never showed any remorse.
“The defendant stated that there was nothing the judge could to stop him from continuing this behavior and that he would continue to do this no matter what,” she said.
He’s not threatening people. He’s threatening flags. The fact that he’s a habitual offender matters some, but this isn’t Minority Report and we don’t have a “pre-crime bureau.” We can’t predict future crimes he will commit and then sentence him for something he hasn’t done yet.
It is apparently not a “hate crime” to burn an American flag. It’s hardly a “crime” at all. In fact, it’s seen by many as an act of courage — “speaking truth to power” and all that. But we can only punish certain kinds of “hate” — the “right kinds” of hate that are smiled upon by the arbiters of social justice. Interestingly, the number of “hate crimes” seems to be growing all the time and the impulse to punish it is also expanding.
It makes a mockery of the concept of “justice” and “fairness.”‘ https://pjmedia.com/trending/man-sentenced-to-16-years-in-prison-for-burning-an-lgbtq-flag/?utm_source=pjmedia&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl_pm&newsletterad=&bcid=08b5a1e2f2263b83e918fb56d7a12a3e&recip=26169367
I have been to the Trader Joe’s which is near my daughter’s house in Atlanta. If I am ever again there I will be sure to purchase some Israeli made ‘Pastures of Eden’ feta cheese! Why?
Because it is one of many items on the BDS not to buy list of Israeli products. You see; ‘Trader Joe’s Israeli made “Pastures of Eden” feta cheese has been on the BDS list for quite some time. BDS has called upon its supporters to boycott the cheese because it is owned by the Tnuva group, the largest dairy producer in Israel.
A Muslim lecturer at UC Berkeley has taken heed to the call by tagging renowned anti-Semite activist Linda Sarsour in his Facebook post which petitions for locals to stop shopping at Trader Joe’s.
“Trader Joe’s is having Israeli Feta on its shelves! One more reason to stop shopping at the store,” Hatem Bazian wrote last week.

Israeli Hater & Muslim propagandist Hatem Bazian
Joe Zevuloni, who heads the “Israeli Army of Publicity” organization, took to Facebook on Tuesday to defend the Jewish State’s cheese.
“This Israel-hating anti-Semitic professor from UC Berkeley tagged Linda Sarsour in his post and called on everyone to boycott Trader Joe’s supermarket chain because it sells Israeli feta cheese,” Zevuloni wrote in one post.
“Go to his page and don’t forget to tell him thank-you for the fact that in his merit, we’ll all buy specifically from a brand that sells Israeli products. Tag the Population and Immigration Authority in your comments and help me show him Israel just in Google. Then “like” this post and share, if you’re with me. Am Israel hai (literally: the nation of Israel lives on)!” he wrote in another post.
The call to counter the boycott worked, according to Israeli news site Arutz7. Pro-Israeli customers cleared off the shelves and then moved on to buy other Israeli products.
Zevoluni also shared a video of a store manager at a Florida based Trader Joe’s happily restocking the delicious Israeli made feta cheese.’ https://worldisraelnews.com/trader-joe-boycott-fizzles-as-pro-israel-customers-buy-out-chains-israeli-cheese/?utm_source=MadMimi&utm_medium=email&utm_content=
This is another excellent short video from Creation Moments. I continue to be amazed how people believe the religion of evolution.
Construction has yet to begin, but it will: the shady developer behind the Ground Zero Mosque scheme, Sharif El-Gamal, has been working to build this sinister structure for years.
We defeated the Ground Zero Mosque project once before. The 16-story mosque that El-Gamal initially planned to build there has not been built. Our efforts in showing what an insult it was to the American people and to the victims of 9/11, and how many Muslims worldwide would inevitably view it as a triumphal mosque built on the site of a jihad attack, defeated it. Tens of thousands of people came out for our rallies in lower Manhattan against this celebration of this 9/11 attacks, and El-Gamal was beaten in the court of public opinion.
It was a long battle. President Obama announced his support for the mosque at an Iftar dinner, no less. Then-mayor of New York City and current presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg supported the mosque as well, claiming hysterically that “if we don’t

build it, the terrorists will win!” The media actively campaigned for it — the elites in their increasingly fragile ivory towers relentlessly stumped for the Cordoba mosque (euphemistically called an Islamic center with a prayer space) for years.
And yet despite all this opposition and much more, the people stood up and fought the Ground Zero Mosque and won. An army of Davids.
But that wasn’t the end of the story. Crains New York reported on El-Gamal’s new project in 2015 in a story that demonstrated how the developer was hoping to sneak his triumphal mosque into existence: “Mr. El-Gamal’s Soho Properties has proposed a 667-foot condominium tower at lower Manhattan’s 45 Park Place. The glass skyscraper, which has yet to break ground, will include at least 15 full-floor units of 3,200 to 3,700 square feet, and average prices higher than $3,000 a square foot, according to plans released to Bloomberg by the developer.”
That sounded normal enough. But then the article added: “Adjacent to the tower, Soho Properties will build a public plaza connected to a three-story Islamic museum and prayer space.” An Islamic prayer space is a mosque. The article also said: “An Islamic museum ‘is just as much of an insult,’ Pamela Geller, a blogger and one of the center’s most vocal opponents, wrote in an email. ‘It will be like having a museum touting the glories of the Japanese Empire at Pearl Harbor.'”
I think an Islamic museum at Ground Zero dedicated to the half-billion victims of jihadi wars, land appropriations, sharia, cultural annihilations, enslavements, and sharia enforcement is an excellent idea, but is that what Sharif El-Gamal had in mind? Of course not. And how did El-Gamal plan to finance this? The answer was predictable. The New York Post reported in May 2016 that “the developer of the failed Ground Zero Mosque has nailed down ‘Sharia-compliant financing’ for a new, luxury condominium tower and Islamic cultural museum on the same site, he and his banking partners said.”
Then in May 2017, the New York Times ran a story entitled “Condo Tower to Rise Where Muslim Community Center Was Proposed.” The Times said that “45 Park Place, a 43-story condominium that will soon rise three blocks from the World Trade Center,” was “something of a consolation prize for the developer,” as it “replaces the developer’s 2010 plan to build a 15-story Islamic mosque and cultural center on this site, an idea that erupted into a national controversy and cable news network bonanza.”
In the last couple of years, there has been virtually no news about this “Islamic museum.” But the New York YIMBY story shows that the project has been advancing under cover of darkness. A 71-foot-tall structure is three stories high, as in the revised plans announced in 2015.
El-Gamal has many friends and allies among New York City’s political and media elites. It is likely that de Blasio city officials and the New York Times and other city papers all met with El-Gamal and agreed to keep the reporting on this project to an absolute minimum, so that it could get built without incurring the righteous anger of the public again. The first time around, they courted publicity and tried to make El-Gamal a hero. We demolished that and destroyed their plans. So now they’ve clearly decided to go ahead surreptitiously.
It is disgusting that El-Gamal continues to taunt Americans and poke at America’s most egregious recent memory. El-Gamal was there when we had tens of thousands in the streets opposing his Ground Zero mosque. He knows how angry and upset people get at these Islamic structures on the site of jihad war. The 9/11 Muslim terrorists extolled Allah no fewer than 90 times in their last letters. Will those letters be on display at this Islamic cultural center/museum?
There is an important lesson to be learned here — and one we would be wise to adopt. They never stop. No matter how absolutely they lose, how many setbacks they suffer, they keep on pursuing their supremacist goals.
The Ground Zero Mosque project was and is a middle finger to the American people. There has never been a mosque of reconciliation and healing built on the site of a jihadi attack. Ever. It is, on the other hand, an Islamic pattern to build triumphal mosques on the cherished sites of conquered lands. History is riddled with triumphal mosques built on the sites of jihad attacks or appropriated from other religions: the Dome of the Rock and the al-Aqsa Mosque on the site of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, and innumerable mosques built on the sites of Hindu temples that were demolished by Muslims all attest to that.
And now it looks as if Sharif El-Gamal is going to be able to build his own triumphal mosque at Ground Zero after all.’ https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/12/the_ground_zero_mosque_project_is_back.html
This video is from Creation, Evolution and Science Ministries. Their website is https://creationministries.org/ .
Evolution is taught as a fact in all public schools supported by the tax payer whether the taxpayer believes evolution is true or not. If it isn’t true it is a LIE foisted upon the students. Christians therefore must look for other sources that teach what the Bible teaches and that is there was a Creator.
This documentary shows the result of a worldwide flood known as Noah’s flood. This flood was the result of man’s sinfulness. Genesis 6:5 tells us And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
That flood of Noah’s time resulted in the formation of the Grand Canyon. If you do not know the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour from your sins there is a judgement waiting for you. As the preacher’s told the jailer the same is true of you Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
It seems that the world (whatever that word might mean to you) has pretty much taken over every possible area of thinking. For instance, many people today accept evolution as a fact and that we must be told quite often that it is true. Well here is an article that just might dispel that.
‘Take the word “evolutionary” out of most science articles. It serves no purpose but to twist data and mislead readers.
What has Darwin done for you lately? Probably very little, and possibly a lot of harm. Science writers and researchers have a bad habit of inserting “evolutionary” into their writing. It’s not history; it’s evolutionary history. She’s not a biologist; she’s an evolutionary biologist. It’s not paleontology, it’s evolutionary paleontology. Enough already! Show some actual value that evolution has contributed to the writing, or else delete the word.
New evolutionary insights into the early development of songbirds (Science Daily). People want insights, but why “evolutionary insights”? The sophoxymoronic phrase is a contradiction in terms. If it’s evolutionary, it’s not insight. If it’s insight, it’s not evolutionary, otherwise it would be blind and unguided insight, which is not insight at all. The work was done by “evolutionary biologists.” Why not just biologists? They talked about germline restricted chromosomes (GRCs) in birds, which are important for preventing “somatic cells from possible negative effects.” So why must they desire to speculate about the “evolutionary history” of GRCs? The moment they insert the useless word, the perhapsimaybecouldness index rises as the scientific value falls.
Divers of the past: Plesiosaur research reveals rapid increase of blood cell size (Phys.org). Plesiosaurs appear in the fossil record as capable swimmers and hunters in a variety of forms, without ancestors. Looking for an evolutionary tale to spin, German researchers from Duisburg-Essen University analyzed thin sections of bone from plesiosaurs and think they found slight increases in blood cell size over time. They say,
From an evolutionary perspective, this change is obviously still useful. Today`s whales, seals and penguins also have unusually large red blood cells, but their close relatives on land and in freshwater do not. “This supports our assumption that this is a significant adaption of warm-blooded marine life,” says Kai Caspar.
From a “biological perspective” is adequate. Better, “from a design perspective.” Evolution had nothing to do with it. The data are too ambiguous, for one thing, and Caspar did not rule out other, more plausible reasons for the inferred cell diameters than the Stuff Happens Law. He certainly did not trace chance mutations that might have gotten selected blindly. That would clearly be difficult or impossible. The word “evolutionary,” therefore, serves no purpose. It’s distracting and misleading.’ https://crev.info/2019/12/evolutionary-a-useless-adjective/
The Climate Scam continues to simply be a trail that follows the money. Here in Australia a person that finds themselves so far out that the electric grid is not available why would you not have solar or wind. I remember back in Iowa as a boy the windmills were seen on almost every Iowa farm.
These were built out of necessity and without government subsidies. Not so with the renewables of today. Here in Australia the renewable industry receives billions from both the state and Federal governments. What a joke!
No wonder, ‘Australia is currently installing solar and wind energy at the fastest rate of any major nation, according to Professor Ken Baldwin when he was the keynote speaker at the National Renewables in Agriculture conference and expo held in Wagga Wagga.
Taking into account both utility-scale renewables and domestic rooftop solar, we are installing more generating capacity per person each year (250 watts) than any other major country.
“Furthermore, Australia leads the world in domestic solar usage with more than 24 percent of households owning rooftop panels,” he said.
“This is in spite of the almost total absence of Federal Government planning to align climate and energy policy in response to climate change.
“The renewables revolution is instead being driven largely by the competitive economics of renewables, as more households cash in on the rooftop solar boom.”

Professor Baldwin is the Director of the ANU Energy Change Institute, based in Canberra. Photo: Canberra Times
Professor Baldwin said this revolution is also happening in agriculture where, for example, stand-alone solar-powered irrigation is starting to replace increasingly more expensive diesel-powered systems.’
“For rural properties and communities at the fringe of the electricity grid, the ability to combine rooftop solar or even small-scale wind with battery storage is also becoming more attractive as a way of addressing power outages.’
Now, the professor whose University receives millions of government dollars goes on to say “Security of supply is becoming crucial as disruptions caused by extreme weather events are predicted to increase due to climate change. This makes having your own stand-alone electricity system – or being part of a micro-grid with your neighbours – even more attractive in some fringe-of-grid locations.”‘ This goofy statement is made because the solar and wind cannot provide consistent reliable energy twenty four hours per day!
The professor admitted that “…even solar systems combined with battery storage will struggle when there are too many days in a row of cloud and rain. This can be circumvented by purchasing a diesel generator as a reserve, but this adds further to the cost.”
For both these reasons, Professor Baldwin said having a grid connection may provide useful backup – although utility companies will undoubtedly charge for such a service.’
Then this professor who gets a salary for pushing this climate scam concluded by saying that ‘In such future electricity markets, the ability to not only call on millions of rooftop generators, but also to ask millions of electricity customers to briefly curtail their demand, will increasingly be used to balance the system as the total penetration of renewables approaches 100 percent.
“So while on the face of it disconnecting from the grid and going it alone might seem attractive, there are many reasons to suggest that the grid is often your friend,” Professor Baldwin noted.’ https://www.theland.com.au/story/6537158/renewable-energy-in-agriculture-grid-or-off-grid/?src=rss&utm_email=1ec342a17f
I am old enough to remember when my parents first had air-conditioning at home. Wow, we were thrilled never thinking that one day in the future we would have to shut it off to SAVE THE PLANET! Again, I remind the reader to remember Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
I have written about these Muslim patrols in NYC before and here it is again.
‘The Muslim patrol gained international attention in the fall of 2018 after several of its patrol cars — which look like New York Police Department (NYPD) cars –were spotted in Brooklyn and Staten Island.
The patrol originally said its purpose was to serve as a liaison between Muslims and the NYPD. But after two consecutive mosque shootings in New Zealand last March, where a gunman live-streamed his murder of 51 Muslims on Facebook, the patrol publicly altered its purpose.
It now describes itself as a law enforcement organization, claiming its goal is to “protect members of the local community from escalating quality-of-life nuisance crimes.”
It’s precisely that “law enforcement” definition that is now landing the Muslim patrol into hot water with New York City residents, particularly those living in the Brooklyn area of Bedford-Stuyvesant.’
‘The cars also have sirens, which another neighborhood resident says is being used to intimidate people.
“They turn on their sirens when they see non-Muslims park next to a mosque during Friday prayer services,” said another resident.
“They get out of their cars and start humiliating these people, telling them they have to move their cars and that they can’t park next to a mosque because they’re not a Muslim, even though it’s completely legal for them to park there,” he explained.
In addition, Muslim patrol officers are patrolling sidewalks near mosques and stripping people of their open containers of alcohol. Though open containers of alcohol are a city violation, an NYPD officer typically resolves it peacefully.
“In some cases, these Muslim patrol officers are kicking the beer out of their hands or yanking it from them and pouring it out on the streets,” the second resident said. “These guys aren’t police officers and they don’t have the right to take someone else’s property and destroy it, even if a person is committing an offense.”
“They talk to these people like the ARE the police,” he added. “And a lot of people in the Bed-Stuy community are getting fed up with it. Some, including the Muslims in the community, are demanding a meeting with the district attorney.”
Both residents who spoke up, however, agreed that the NYPD still favors the “services” provided by Muslim patrol.
“The local captain, he don’t care if they’re enforcing sharia law. The police see them as helping them with their jobs.”’ https://clarionproject.org/nyc-muslim-patrol-bullying-reported/?utm_source=Clarion%20Project%20Newsletter
All this ought to make one scared but especially the statement ‘The local captain, he don’t care if they’re enforcing sharia law.’ When will the Muslim Patrol be coming to your city?
The Climate scammers continue their diabolical devilish demonic droning about man made climate change and I am personally getting weary of hearing about it. I guess, what really gets me are the politicians that are voted into office making the voters believe they haven’t swallowed this climate scamming kool-aid. One example is our Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison who took a lump of coal into the Federal Parliament in spite of many climate scammers being present. However, he hasn’t brought another lump of coal into Federal Parliament since winning the 2019 election which was primarily based on whether the Australian electorate believed the Climate Scam. People voted Morrison and his fellow politicians back in but instead of taking a tough stance against these lying leeches he has recently ‘…stated that climate change was a contributing factor to the bushfires that have plagued the nation for months.’ https://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/climate-change/scott-morrison-says-climate-change-was-a-contributing-factor-to-bushfires/news-story/25d6f61d0db5538bbbdeac745d107bc9

What a turn coat! These climate scamming so-called conservatives are openly saying and putting into practice what the Labor/Greens were upfront with at the last election on how they would combat the LIE of climate change. These wolves in sheep’s clothing are just going to dig our economic grave a little slower.
Anyway, when I read what the PM said I was angry (righteous anger of course) and I wrote him an email. Here is what I said.
‘Subject: Climate Change, drought and fires ‘Prime Minister, I was very saddened to read that you said “And we all know … that climate change, along with many other factors, contribute to what is occurring today.” No, I do not know that. I do know the climate changed after Noah’s flood and that it continues to change but it has nothing to do with fossil fuels or animals flagellating. It has more to do with the sun. Australia has gone through many droughts but it has always rained. Most, if not all bush-fires are caused by either man setting the fire on purpose, man neglecting to back burn or lightning. Right now, Australia needs dams and fossil fuels for consistent energy. I would encourage you to begin building dams for future droughts which will occur no matter what kind of car we drive. Stop playing footsie with the Labor/Greens as this is going to lose you the next election. One Nation, the Shooters and other conservative minor parties will be the winners along with the nation if this worshipping at the climate change altar continues.’
Be assured, I won’t hold my breath until I get a personal email back from the PM.
What we need here in Australia is a Trump who got the USA out of the Paris agreement. Instead, our PM continues to follow the UN Follow the Money Trail Paris agreement as though it is the Gospel. He said ‘…climate change is a global challenge. Australia is playing our role as part of this global challenge. In fact, I can tell you that emissions from Australia are lower today than at any other time than before we came to government.’ He went on to say that Australia’s emissions are “…around almost on average 50 million tons lower per year now than they were under the term of the previous government. And we’ll continue to meet our commitments when it comes to Kyoto.” https://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/climate-change/scott-morrison-says-climate-change-was-a-contributing-factor-to-bushfires/news-story/25d6f61d0db5538bbbdeac745d107bc9
Then there is the supposedly conservative NSW Energy and Environment Minister Matt Kean who said “There is no country on the planet better placed to take advantage of the new low emissions economy than Australia, and we should be doing our bit to tackle climate change.” https://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/climate-change/pressure-mounts-on-scott-morrison-to-act-on-climate-change-as-bushfire-crisis-continues/news-story/0d129ed6942484e8c0e986326832da35
With ‘conservative friends’ like those in the Liberal and National Party who needs enemies? Mr. Morrison, you claim to be a Christian so I remind you of what God said in Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
