Mark Latham is an Australian politician with the New South Wales One Nation Party. He is an atheist but makes more sense in political matters than our professing ‘Christian’ Prime Minister. Anyway, I follow Mark on Facebook and Twitter. This is what he had to say of this Presidential election. ‘Funniest thing is ‘progressives’ calling for calm and unity in USA, after 4 years of mad attacks on Trump, denying his legitimacy in winning Presidency 2016. Old demented, bumbling Joe, the beneficiary of electoral fraud, is illegitimate from his first moments 2020.’http://Real Mark Latham @RealMarkLatham

It was a supposedly ‘conservative’ Australian Federal government of the Liberal/Nationals coalition that threw the Australian economy into a nose dive due to the China virus. Now, after the financial chaos the Prime Minister talks a lot about jobs while throwing billions into grid chaos renewables. He also says he is not into fighting the culture wars and yet his own Liberal party is obsessed with progressive ideas. Yes, ‘WHILE Australians are worried about actual problems like rising unemployment, the Liberal Party is worried about gender imbalance among its MPs.

It’s hard to believe that Australia’s conservative party would allow itself to be defined by progressive values, especially when progressives cannot even define the word “woman”.
But Liberals have allowed themselves to become convinced that anything less than 50 per cent of their MPs being women is inherently bad.
Nobody ever gives cogent reasons as to why there should be an equal number of men and women in parliament. That women comprise half the population is a statistical fact, but not an argument for the composition of parliament.
And the argument that “we need more representation of women” is a misuse of language since every member of parliament represents men and women equally.
The sexist idea that only a woman can truly represent the interests of women was well and truly dismantled this week when it was revealed Australia’s foreign minister Marise Payne was yet to speak to her Qatar counterpart about the alleged strip search of 13 Australian woman at Doha airport more than three weeks ago.
Imagine if a male foreign minister said he was waiting for an official report before raising the subject with Qatar’s foreign minister!
Meanwhile, the possibility that men dominate parliaments because most women are far too intelligent to pursue a career in branch stacking, faction dealing, fund raising and functions at all hours that interfere with family life is not allowed to be considered.
Anything less than male-female parity is now prima facie evidence of the Liberal Party’s “problem with women”. Only when parity is achieved can Liberals say they are inclusive and hold their heads high.
But if the Liberals were serious about a parliament that mirrored the general population, they would worry less about gender and instead focus on pre-selecting people with backgrounds other than in law.
Or they would insist that half of all MPs were professing Christians.
Or they would insist on pre-selecting candidates who were actually conservatives, regardless of gender, rather than people who were a pale shade of green.
A report released this week by Liberal think tank the Menzies Research Centre has warned that the Liberal Party was taking only “incremental steps” towards gender balance.
Currently 25 per cent of Liberal MPs across Australia are women. This is well short of the 50 per cent mark the party was hoping to achieve by 2025.
By contrast 46 per cent of Labor MPs are women. And how’s that working out for them?
The ALP lost the last federal election and received around 300,000 less votes from women than did the Liberal Party.
No wonder the MRC report says that a significant number of Liberals deny that gender imbalance matters.
But like I said, it is now an article of faith that anything less than equal numbers of men and women is evidence of a problem.
So the MRC report insisted that “the first step in addressing the representation of women in the Liberal Party is to acknowledge that the Party does in fact have a problem”. In other words, if you think that gender imbalance is not a problem, you are the problem.
The report rejected the idea of “quotas”, as used by the Labor Party, but demanded “targeted intervention” which was a fancy way of saying quotas without using the word.
Each Liberal Party division, it said, should set targets for female representation that were measured and reported every year.
So the Liberals may not be using quotas, but their fixation on social engineering shows that they are taking Australia down the same woke cul-de-sac as Labor, only more slowly.
The Liberals will betray their conservative base who believe in meritocracy and they will disappoint progressives for not doing woke as well or as quickly as the ALP and Greens.
Whatever diversity candidates they do get into parliament will bring with them their baggage of imagined grievance, which they will then project onto the party and onto society at large.
Nothing good can ever came from prioritising the right genitalia over the right resume.’https://goodsauce.news/the-liberal-party-gender-trap/
Here, in regional New South Wales, Australia we are able to now watch for free, yes for free, what the leftist loonies call Sky after dark. Sky at night includes Peta Credlin, Alan Jones, Paul Murray, Andrew Bolt and once per week Gary Hardgrave. Sky of course is a Murdoch enterprise and to the leftist loonies it is anathema but to the conservative it is fresh air for conservative views and news against the other stations which are unashamedly waaay left of center .
It could also be said concerning these Marxist/Communist leaning irreligious leftist loonies ‘…Rupert Murdoch truly is an, if not the, Antichrist. He has been so before Trump and is likely to be so after Trump is gone. This is one of the great political constants of the last four decades across much of the English-speaking world.
That Murdoch has “extremely polarised” our politics, or that he has “poisoned” our media, is really a shorthand for “he has dared to provide an alternative view” for that part of the electorate that is instinctively not left-wing. More so than any other media owners (most of them by now in any case gone, like Conrad Black), Murdoch has successfully worked to fill this rather big niche in the market.
Today, he and his media empire are the only thing standing in the way of the total monopolistic domination of the English-language media by the left-wing Public-Private Partnership of state-run and funded and various supported privatemedia outlets. That’s why the left hates him – if not for Murdoch, left-wing voices would be the only ones heard and read by the hundreds of millions of people in the United States, Great Britain and Australia.
The post-Marx, Gramscian/Frankfurt School left has seen the path to political power leading through the gradual take-over of the “commanding heights” of cultural production – if you can influence and control what people are taught, what they see, hear and read, what they feel and what they think, you will get your hands on the levers of power in a surer (and more peaceful) way than through a revolution and take-over of the means of production. This is in a way the reversal of classical Marxism where the economic power arrangements shape the culture of the people; for the new, cultural left, those who control the culture will in time hold the economic and political power too. This is not a conspiracy, just an ideological outlook that explains why our contemporary culture, education and the media overwhelmingly skew to the left.
But Rupert Murdoch remains a giant steaming Australian turd on the banquet table of the modern left.
Look at the United States. Of the biggest circulation daily newspapers, only two can be considered to the right of centre – “New York Post” and “The Wall Street Journal”, though the later more in its opinion pages than news reporting. Both are owned by Murdoch. The rest of the field offers various shades of conventional left. In 2016, only six newspapers endorsed Donald Trump (granted, a rather unconventional GOP candidate) for president, including such giants of print industry as “St. Joseph News-Press”, “Santa Barbara News-Press”, “The Waxahachie Daily Light”, Hillsboro’s “Times-Gazette”, “The Antelope Valley Press”, and (for a change in pace) “Las Vegas Review-Journal”. You get the drift. News and popular interest and lifestyle magazines – anything from “Time” to “Vanity Fair” — skews even more decisively to the left. On the small screen, Fox stands alone versus all the major free-to-air and cable channels. Radio is the only mass medium with a significant right-of-centre presence, talk radio having been an oasis of voices other than the progressive mainstream for at least 30 years now.
In Great Britain, Murdoch owns the tabloid “Sun” and the respectable “Times”. The former is actually pretty ecumenical both in reporting and in opinion. The only other major British daily more unequivocally associated with the right, “The Telegraph”, is not owned by Murdoch, which makes it a significant outlier in the English-speaking world. Murdoch’s Sky is the only counterbalance to the progressive bias on the silver screen, led, of course, by the taxpayer-funded BBC empire.
Australia is a newspaper outlier. This is where Murdoch’s media empire has started and this is where Murdoch owns just over half of daily newspapers, altogether accounting for about 70 per cent of the total circulation. The others, including the Nine newspapers, correspondingly lean to the left. If Australians at least have a better than elsewhere choice in print media, the television is pretty uniformly non-right, nowhere more so than at the state-owned (read: taxpayer-funded, left-run) ABC. As an alternative to it all there is only Sky, which as a subscriber-only service has a smaller reach compared to the free-to-air channels. Then there’s the trust-fund kids of The Guardian Australia, the abuse of union superannuation funds that is The New Daily, the left-wing Melbourne millionaires’ playthings such as The Monthly and the Saturday Paper and Crikey and that symbol of so much that is wrong with our universities, The Conversation.
Take away Murdoch then, and you have the mainstream media almost completely devoid of voices other than the conventional left-wing perspective in opinion and the crusading, politicised, biased reporting in the news. The alternative provided by most (but certainly not all) Murdoch’s outlets means that the progressive “education” of the population cannot be successfully concluded. As the popular observation goes, the left loves diversity in everything except opinion. The progressive utopia looks like United Colors of Benneton all singing from one catalogue. That we’re not there yet, despite the ginormous effort by the left, is largely due to Murdoch.
No wonder the left hates him so much. But he is 89 (though if it’s true you’re only as old as the woman you feel, thanks to Jerry Hall, he’s only 64). His children are no ideological warriors; they range from safely conventional to conventionally left-leaning.
So let’s enjoy Rupert while we still can – after he’s gone there is no one person to replace him in his role as the lone counter-point to the left’s domination of the media. We will need an army of Ruperts instead to stand athwart the narrative and call the bull…. And we better start planning for it soon.’https://www.spectator.com.au/2020/10/rupert-murdoch-doesnt-dominate-our-media-he-stands-in-the-way-of-total-left-control-hence-the-hate-campaign/
We have only been to New Zealand once and have thought it would be nice to go again but that has now changed. Why? New Zealand is now the land led by one of the most Leftist Loony Climate scamming Muslim loving governments in the Western world. Therefore, after this last New Zealand election ‘It’s a tough call on which was more predictable; Jacinda Arden’s victory, or the sickeningly smug reaction from the left.
Credit where credit’s due. The landslide victory puts the Labour Party in a position of tremendous strength, having won enough support to govern alone. The party scored its strongest result in 50 years.
That said, reports still say, “it remains likely that she will reach out to the left-wing Green Party to form a coalition government.”
Ahead, Kiwis are set to decide on two landmark social issues; legalising recreational marijuana and whether to legalise euthanasia.
So, New Zealand now looks set to head even further to the left and become one of the most liberal countries in the world.
Basically, NZ is on track to become The Netherlands of the southern hemisphere.
All of this was just too exciting for the loud left on Twitter. One wrote:

The only thing missing from this tweet was the vomit emoji.
Presumably, she’s alluding to Jacinda-style kindness of our very own Dan Andrews, who has snapped at women like Peta Credlin and Rachel Baxendale who have stepped up to hold him to account?
Or is she referring to his “intelligence” and “compassion” with regard to astute decision-making on behalf of small businesses, which are now going under across Victoria?
The #IStandWithDan sheep on the left desperately want Andrews to be as popular in Australia here as Jacinda is in NZ.
It’s not going to happen.
The left-leaning media around the globe may have successfully promoted her to Saint Jacinda; the woman who is single-handedly putting other leaders to shame, but she has intense challenges ahead.
Her success handling COVID and her response to the Christchurch massacre may well have blinded the public to the facts.
Left-wing media doesn’t want to talk about harsh lockdown laws, a shattered tourism industry, plunging house prices, struggling export industry, or widespread, wild unemployment.
Being a woman of the left, with a distractingly dazzling smile, who took maternity leave does not equal a triumphant policy agenda.
Make no mistake, Saint Jacinda’s halo is shaky.
She has some fierce economic challenges ahead.’https://spectator.com.au/2020/10/the-lord-of-the-rings-was-filmed-there-now-kiwis-have-voted-to-make-the-whole-country-fantasyland/
If are a conservative and you live in New South Wales this is a must watch! There is a lot on the line when you vote this Saturday. 23 March.
‘Silence from us pesky Christians is what elites want.
We have no business putting forward an alternative vision for marriage and gender, we were told not once, but twice this week.
The new Australia they are trying to create excludes a Christian worldview from the public square.
First there was Labor Senate Leader Penny Wong asserting that separation of church and state meant Christians should stay out of the marria
ge and “safe schools” debates.
Really? Why should one group of Australians be disbarred from debate about laws which affect children and freedoms while other Australians are allowed to participate?
Separation of church and state is important but it was never designed to exclude religious people from public policy debates. Penny Wong should know better.
All Australians should be free to have their say on any issue – especially marriage and “safe schools”.
But it is frightening for free speech in this country that no-one pulled her up.
Media were quite happy to report her critique of ACL, but our reply was ignored.
Secondly, news broke at the weekend that the Australian Medical Association is campaigning to redefine marriage because it is a mental health issue.
Dr John Hayes kindly provided me a copy of this letter he has sent to a major newspaper.
Dear Sir,
The Federal AMA leadership has lost credibility by claiming that denying homosexuals the right to marry is detrimental to their mental health. This is pure spin and has no scientific basis. The truth is the AMA has capitulated to intense Media pressure from the Gay Lobby, led by former AMA president, Dr Kerryn Phelps, whose comment that “Christians now have nowhere to hide” is sectarian bigotry unbecoming of a former AMA president.
Ordinary AMA members were denied a vote on this issue, whereas in 2016, members were given a say and overwhelmingly rejected Euthanasia.
Regards,
Dr John Hayes, AMA member
I’ve met Dr Kerryn Phelps. We were on the ABC1’s Q&A program together. Off camera, we got along well despite our disagreement about redefining marriage.
Her comment at the weekend that “Christians have nowhere to hide” is a worry.
We need to be determined not to hide. This is a time to have courage and to speak up for the truth about marriage and why gender diversity in it matters.’ http://www.acl.org.au/why_we_need_to_speak_up_while_we_can?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=eNews%2023%20May%202017&utm_content=eNews%2023%20May%202017+CID_825f846005b996499a64ace7f659ec7f&utm_source=CreateSend&utm_term=Read%20Lyles%20blog
It really doesn’t matter if it is a Labor or Liberal Government there is a lot of waste when it comes to spending the tax payer’s money! The wgea is such a place and it takes FIVE MILLION tax dollars each year to tell the Government of the day about “gender equality” in the workplace!
“In its latest annual report, the Workplace Gender Equality Agency has published the names of businesses which fell foul of the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012.
Under the law, companies with more than 100 employees are required to lodge a report with the WGEA every year detailing “gender equality indicators” such as male-to-female ratios and salaries. The WGEA itself, which costs taxpayers $5 million a year to run, employs five male and 25 female staff.
Among the 74 businesses deemed “non-compliant” by the WGEA this year include household names like Kennards Self Storage, Bing Lee, Vittoria Coffee, Palace Cinemas and Sportsmans Warehouse. Also named were the likes of Williams-Sonoma, EB Games, and a number of plumbing, cleaning, freight and transport companies.
“Non-compliant organisations may not be eligible to tender for contracts under Commonwealth and some state procurement frameworks, and may not be eligible for some Commonwealth grants or other financial assistance,” the report warns.” http://www.news.com.au/finance/work/leaders/storage-king-hits-out-at-gender-cop/news-story/3ee47ce70d9e8a698bf129cc84c4e259
Is the Government holding companies to ransom for failing to lodge this report? It looks like it does! BIG BROTHER has spoken and you will do as YOU are told! I applaud those who refuse to go along with this nonsensical law! If the Government is really serious about getting the budget back into surplus the closing of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency is a good place to begin!
