‘Not only are Australians locked in their homes and unable to work, they have to apply to the government for permission to leave the country – a request which is usually refused.
Cruel stories about Australians unable to see their dying relatives while celebrities, sports teams, and politicians continue to travel, have undercut the government slogan of ‘we’re all in this together’.
The NSW lockdown costs taxpayers in excess of $2 billion a week, with no end in sight. Restrictions have become so harsh that individuals are all-but under house arrest, tied to a 5km radius for exercise with only one household member allowed to shop for essential items.
This morning, an apartment building in Blacktown remains under police guard after six residents tested positive for Covid – leaving the state only half a step away from China’s frightening footage of welding people into their homes.
There is even talk of NSW accepting the Federal government’s offer of bringing in the Army to patrol Covid checkpoints.
Increasingly unpopular public health orders have been used to justify infringements on civil liberties never seen before, including the banning of Freedom Day protests. Far from resolving the situation, the NSW Premier’s press conference which threatened to send the full force of the law after protestors has only encourage dissent.
‘An Australian legislator has proposed vaccine passports for everyone over 18 years as a way of providing a restriction to those who refuse the vaccine. The strict proposal comes as the country handles new waves of infections that are much lower than in other countries.
“While people might still have a choice whether or not to get vaccinated, what they can do in the community will need to be controlled and restricted,” said Frank Pangallo, a Member of Parliament in the Upper House, speaking to Adelaide Now.
The SA-Best Party legislator said vaccination certification should be mandatory in hospitality venues, public places, workplaces, and for travel. He proposed the introduction of “vaxport,” a vaccination certification (vaccine passport) document in order to avoid what he says would be a “health and economic catastrophe” in Australia.
So far, the Australian government, led by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, has not hinted that it would mandate vaccine passports. Speaking to Adelaide Now, the chief public health officer Prof. Nicola Spurrier said the government was considering mandatory vaccination for high-risk professions, not the wider population. The Health Minister Stephen Wade said the government was committed to having the vaccines remain “free and voluntary.”
“I understand people will think this is a rather drastic and draconian step, but this pandemic continues to evolve in ways and waves nobody can predict,” Pangallo added. He continued to argue that regardless of vaccines, “we do not seem to control its spread and those variants that are emerging — not just (the) Delta strain but the deadly Lambda variant from Peru.” Pangallo called on the government to update the vaccination program so that individuals who are not yet eligible to get the virus can get it if they want.
Currently, in Australia, people under the age of 40 are not eligible to get the Pfizer vaccine, but it was recently announced that they could get the AstraZeneca shot with a green light from their doctor. An advisory from the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (ATAGI) recommends the AstraZeneca jab only for people over the age of 60, recommending Pfizer for those under 60.
“Australia is on the cusp of a health and economic catastrophe which requires strong and decisive leadership to prevent the entire country going into lockdown,” Pangallo said. “Hard times create strong leadership and strong leadership creates good times. This is what’s needed now. The pussyfooting around by Scott Morrison needs to stop.”
I am independet and a Baptist for many reasons but the foremost reason is because all the churches in the New Testament were independent churches. However, today there are those who do belong to denominations and they often have a story to be told and this is one of them.
‘Supported by the Christian Legal Centre, Charlie faces a series of Covid-related allegations which could result in his family being evicted from their home by church authorities. Following a complaint made on Easter Sunday, Charlie met with the Archdeacon of Dorset who told Charlie that he should leave his post and the vicarage by the end of July for supposedly breaking Covid regulations. The allegations made against Charlie include singing the hymn ‘Thine be the Glory’ without a face mask, risking contaminating the church by returning Bibles to the building and conducting a family service online from a beach hut that he rents.
Charlie commented: “I am deeply saddened and hurt that Covid regulations are being used as an excuse by the church hierarchy to bully me and my young family. During the pandemic, due to government guidance, churches and their congregations have become places of division and fear instead of the places of prayer, refuge, worship, outreach and hope they should be.
‘A social media row has erupted after some Chinese cities issued public notices threatening to restrict millions of citizens who are yet to receive a COVID vaccine from entering public spaces.
A handful of smaller cities in Jiangxi, Shanxi, Zhejiang, Fujian and Hebei provinces announced that if people fail to have their jabs, they are likely to be banned from entering schools, childcare, supermarkets, government buildings, hospitals, hotels, banks, aged care facilities, wet markets and government-owned premises.
These local governments say officials will put a strong emphasis on monitoring non-vaccine recipients, who are required to obtain an exemption letter from a hospital.
Socialist ‘French President Emmanuel Macron has announced a package of measures to help France control a fourth wave of Covid19 cases, including stricter border controls, the extension of the health passport for more everyday activities, and making the vaccine compulsory for all healthcare workers.
The Elites of this world had this China virus pandemic planned out before it occured. Vist https://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/event201/videos.html and see for your self. Our govenments have a plan which does not include more freedom but less.
In Biden’s America ‘“Purge” is well chosen, because that’s exactly what this is, a nakedly political purge of the loyal opposition, and the forcible silencing of political dissent in America. It’s plain as day what is coming. What is not clear is whether or not there will be any significant number of Americans who stand for freedom and against tyranny.
And as a minor addendum, of course, Jihad Watch will be one of the many casualties of their campaign to “purge” the Internet of “extremist content.” We stand for the values of the Constitution of the United States and the denial of those rights to no one. We stand for the enforcement of the nation’s existing laws to protect the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and the equality of rights of all people before the law. We do not support the supremacy of any race or any other group. But the Left and Islamic groups have for years insisted that to stand against jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women was “hate.” And they have all the power now.
“White House calls Capitol riot a ‘terrorist attack’, introduces Pentagon anti-radicalization to stop the ‘lethal’ rise of ‘white supremacy’ in the military and pushes to ‘purge’ the internet of ‘extremist content,’” by Rob Crilly, Daily Mail, June 15, 2021 (thanks to Henry):
The Pentagon is to start training for service members leaving the military to prevent them being radicalized by violent extremists, as part of Biden administration’s plan to combat the ‘lethal threat’ of white supremacy that was unveiled on Tuesday morning.
It follows a review that stated the most dangerous elements of the threat today come from white supremacists and anti-government extremists.
The White House also called the Capitol riot a ‘domestic terrorist attack’ in a report released on Tuesday and backed a ‘purge’ of extremist content online.
The strategy includes $100 million for the Department of Justice, the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security for analysts, prosecutors and investigators.
‘In addition, the Department of Defense is incorporating training for servicemembers separating retirements in the military, who may potentially be targeted by those who seek to radicalise them,’ said an administration official.
‘Domestic terrorist attacks in the United States also have been committed frequently by those opposing our government institutions. In 1995, in the largest single act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history, an anti–government violent extremist detonated a bomb at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people – including 19 children – and injuring hundreds of others,’ the report says.
‘In 2016, an anti–authority violent extremist ambushed, shot, and killed five police officers in Dallas. In 2017, a lone gunman wounded four people at a congressional baseball practice. And just months ago, on January 6, 2021, Americans witnessed an unprecedented attack against a core institution of our democracy: the U.S. Congress.’
The move follows revelations that a disproportionate number of people arrested during the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol were active military personnel or veterans.
Experts in domestic terrorism have long warned that far-right militants were targeting people with military or law enforcement training for recruitment.
The new strategy brackets the Capitol assault – when thousands of Trump supporters descended on Congress – with mass shootings at a synagogue in Pittsburgh and a Walmart in El Paso as part of the country’s ‘tragic history’ of domestic terrorism
The strategy will also address the danger of ‘insider threats’ within the military or security agencies.
‘The Department of Defence, Department of Justice, and Homeland Security Department are similarly pursuing efforts to ensure that domestic terrorists are not employed within our military or law enforcement ranks, and that they improve their screening and vetting processes,’ said the official.
‘Training and resources will be developed for state, local, tribal and territorial law enforcement partners as well as for sensitive private sector partners, to enable them to enhance their own employee screening programme, and to prevent individuals who post domestic terrorism threats and being placed in positions of trust.’
The strategy will be launched by Attorney General Merrick Garland on Tuesday morning.
In a foreword, President Biden said America could not ignore the threat from domestic terrorism.
‘Together we must affirm that domestic terrorism has no place in our society,’ he said.
‘We must work to root out the hatreds that can too often drive violence.
‘And we must recommit to defend and protect those basic freedoms, which belong to all Americans in equal measure, and which are not only the foundation of our democracy— they are our enduring advantage in the world.’
You will never miss that which you never had. However, those in the USA and Australia have enjoyed many many years of freedoms such as freedom of movement, speech etc. However, this China virus seems to be eroding those freedoms from us. Consider this! ‘Australia’s drug regulator, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), is considering referring Facebook posts containing claims about COVID vaccine deaths to the police after a post showing Labor backbencher Julian Hill getting his vaccine was met with mass pushback from vaccine skeptics.
The post was ratioed with almost twice the number of comments to engagements – a common sign that a post is unpopular.
Many of the comments noted that the vaccine is “experimental,” described Hill’s post as “propaganda,” and voiced their objections to the vaccine.
But The Guardian Australia focused on alleged posts from some Facebook users that purportedly contained an image that cited the TGA and claimed that COVID-19 vaccines have caused more than 200 deaths.
The figure is a reference to the TGA’s disclosure in its May 27 COVID-19 vaccine weekly safety report that it has received “210 reports of deaths following immunisation.” However, the TGA insists that only one of these deaths was caused by the vaccines.
After The Guardian Australia contacted the TGA, it said the alleged posting of claims that the vaccine had caused more than 200 deaths were “particularly concerning” and that it would consider referring these posts to the federal police.
Additionally, the TGA noted that it’s a criminal offense, punishable by two years in prison, to represent oneself as a commonwealth body or claim to act on behalf of one.
The Guardian Australia also contacted Facebook which swiftly removed the posts for violating its far-reaching “COVID-19 misinformation” rules.
Despite the threat of police referrals from the TGA and Facebook removing the posts, Hill demanded that Australia’s health minister, Greg Hunt, take further action to “combat vaccine hesitancy, and the bat shit crazy conspiracy theories circulating online.”
He also warned “Australians will continue to be exposed to restrictions and lockdowns…until enough of the population is vaccinated.”
