This green energy deal is simply the pagan Gaia religion. Guess who they want to win?

However, ‘In a refreshingly honest article in the Boston Review, David McDermott Hughes confirms something that we energy evangelists have been saying for some time: Environmentalists do not simply want people to transition to “green energy,” they want humanity put on energy rationing, for the good of the planet. Now, apparently, they’ve also decided that we need to add intermittent fasting to our energy diet because, gosh darnit, electricity in developed countries like the United States is just too darn reliable for our own good! It needs to go out once in a while, or, well, the planet is doomed.

According to Hughes, “For those seriously concerned about climate change, the inverse—the demand for electrical continuity—may be the real problem.” Yes, you read that right, the desire to have electricity available 24/7 is the cause of our global climate catastrophe, and we need to learn to live with intermittent energy like the happy campers of Zimbabwe and Puerto Rico which “provide models for what we might call pause-full electricity.”
And who is first on the new electricity diet? Why, you are, you single-family home-dwelling environmental heretic. Hughes explains that “…each household demanding continuous electricity marginally exacerbates the climate crisis. Perhaps, then, it is critical that we not store energy for these houses. At least, we should not do so in a way that hobbles the transition away from fossil fuels. We ought to consider waiting a few years for storage—enduring much more than six hours of downtime every year—for the sake of transitioning more rapidly away from fossil fuels.”
Surely you can handle a “few years” of intermittent blackouts and brownouts, right, suburbanites?
This energy-rationing agenda has been hidden, heretofore, by a huge raft of bogus promises that would make the switch to renewables easy. Batteries, we were told, will adapt so fast that we can go ahead and just build out wind and solar power, while letting conventional power plants wither and die, and everybody will have their cake and eat it too! Unfortunately, the reality of battery storage limitations is just too obvious to people who see, day in and day out, the reality of batteries: they aren’t getting that much stronger over time. As Mark Mills, of the Manhattan Institute points out (and do read the whole thing!):
About 60 pounds of batteries are needed to store the energy equivalent of one pound of hydrocarbons.
At least 100 pounds of materials are mined, moved and processed for every pound of battery fabricated.
Storing the energy equivalent of one barrel of oil, which weighs 300 pounds, requires 20,000 pounds of Tesla batteries ($200,000 worth).
Carrying the energy equivalent of the aviation fuel used by an aircraft flying to Asia would require $60 million worth of Tesla-type batteries weighing five times more than that aircraft.
And even Hughes now admits that, well, making batteries is environmentally destructive, and environmentalists don’t want you doing that, even if you can. After all, batteries are just not woke:
Lithium-ion batteries are moving into position to overcome that constraint, but they create problems of their own. Like most form of mining, lithium extraction produces toxins—imposed, on this case, on indigenous down-winders in Chile. Also like mining, the lithium trade concentrates power and wealth in the hands of few, corporations. Sometimes called “bottlenecking,” this process converts a resource too plentiful for profit—like sunlight—into a scarce and lucrative commodity. Not even environmental savior Elon Musk is safe from abuse, because, it seems, Tesla “seems on track to gain a controlling share of any smart grid connected to electric vehicles; its Powerwall battery is out-competing less toxic technologies, and it could eventually dovetail with software known as “demand response.”
Oh My God. You mean, Elon Musk is a – gasp – businessman? Perish forbid!
The moral of this story is, when the “green” energy, “green economy,” “green new deal” types tell you that all they really want is for you to have “greener” energy, what they mean is that they want you to have less. Less quantity, less reliability, less affordability, and less consumer flexibility. And you can take that to the ballot box.’https://papundits.wordpress.com/2020/11/02/reliable-electricity-bah-humbug/
How can you tell when a politician is lying? Answer: When he open his mouth. That’s why you should vote Trump; because he isn’t a politician. However, Biden ‘Apparently awakening to the absurdity of his initial plan to forego campaigning in the days remaining before the election, Joe Biden summoned up the energy to make his way to Warm Springs, Georgia today, the home of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Little White House. In keeping with his gloomy portrait of a country ravaged by pandemic and hopelessly afflicted with institutional racism, in the course of his speech Biden inspiringly noted: “It was here on April 12, 1945 that President Roosevelt died.” That made it a perfect setting for a speech by an elderly, low-energy candidate that many assume will not live long into his presidential term if elected.
Biden tried to mix his doomsaying about the virus that is going to get all of us whose lives haven’t already been destroyed by The White Man with some positive notes: “It is hard when you drive in here,” he observed, “not to think of the circumstances President Roosevelt faithed [sic] and how he overcame so much for so many.” Biden played up the hopeful aspects of Roosevelt’s history in Warm Springs, asserting that it was “a good place to talk about hope and healing,” since it was to that “Franklin Roosevelt came to use the therapeutic waters to rebuild himself” after he contracted polio.
Yes, that’s all true. In an uncomfortable parallel with the Biden campaign, not only did FDR die in Warm Springs; he did so after deceiving the American people for many months about the seriousness of his condition. Despite Joe’s numerous verbal slip-ups and increasingly obvious signs of dementia, the Biden campaign continues to insist that their man is just fine, and in fact more vigorous and in the pink of health than the president who is traversing the country holding three rallies a day.
Yet Nancy Pelosi’s recent introduction of legislation that would make it easier for Congressional Democrats to implement the 25th Amendment (which discusses the removal of a president who is incapacitated and unable to perform his duties) was not, she said, directed at President Trump, but rather at his successors. It was easy to see who she had in mind: Speculation is rife that if Biden wins, he will quickly step aside or be pushed aside to make way for Kamala Harris, who is more palatable than old Joe to the party’s increasingly strong far-Left wing.
In that scenario, Hale and Hearty Joe is being sold to the American people in a classic bait-and-switch operation, reminiscent of the snow job the Democrats pulled off on the electorate back when FDR was running for his fourth term in 1944. Photographs of Roosevelt made it obvious that he was gravely ill: he had lost a considerable amount of weight and looked sallow and haggard. Yet as Republicans began to charge that Roosevelt was too ill to serve yet another four years as President, FDR’s physician, Admiral Ross McIntire, stepped up with an outright lie: “The President’s health is perfectly OK.”’https://www.jihadwatch.org/2020/10/biden-tries-to-project-energy-by-going-to-where-fdr-went-to-die?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=the_2020_10_30_jihad_watch_daily_digest&utm_term=2020-10-30
RUSH Limbaugh said ‘That’s right, my friends! Joe Biden addressed a record crowd of 365 cars in Atlanta yesterday, while trying to project energy by going to where FDR went to die. That’s your Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, going to where FDR went to die. “It’s gonna be a dark winter,” but at least a record number of cars showed up.
You know, Warm Springs, Georgia, is where FDR went to die — Franklin Delano Roosevelt, for those of you who may not know who FDR is. He was a president married to Eleanor Roosevelt, who Hillary Clinton talks to at night, one ghost to another. (interruption) No, Hillary says she does! I’m not making it up.
So, this is where Biden addressed a record crowd: “365 cars easily made it the largest event of the campaign for Biden.” You believe that: 365 cars is the biggest rally of his campaign, and this is the guy that’s the so-far-away frontrunner we can’t see who’s in second place? Record crowd, 365 cars in Atlanta, “the largest event of the campaign” for Plugs.
You know, 365 cars, that wouldn’t even make a respectable Trump caravan. Seventy-five thousand cars rallied for President Trump in Miami last week. By the way, aren’t Biden’s car rally’s attendees, by definition, honkers? That’s what they do: They honk their horns instead of applaud! I thought that was the funniest thing when I was watching Obama last weekend.’https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2020/10/28/__trashed-3/
Living overseas we have already cast our vote and it was not for Lying Joe Biden. Here are three of the many reasons why we voted the way we did.
‘If you are reading this post, you should vote for Donald Trump for President of the United States. Do not vote for Joe Biden. Do not vote for the Constitution Party candidate. Do not abstain from voting. Vote for Donald Trump. Here are three reasons.
1.) If you pray 1 Timothy 2:1-4, you should vote for Donald Trump, since he will defend religious liberty.
The New Testament specifically tells us to pray as follows:
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
When you pray for something, you should put “feet” to your prayers. When you pray for daily bread and are trusting in God (Matthew 6), you then go to work, because God provides through the ordinary use of means the vast majority of the time. Donald Trump as President will allow you to live a quiet and peaceable Christian life in peace. Trump will appoint judges who believe that the First Amendment means what it says. His justice department will not force you to violate your conscience to keep your job. He will not force Christian adoption agencies to place children in the “families” of filthy sodomites. He will not try to shut down and destroy Christian schools and colleges. He will stand with business owners who are unwilling to violate their consciences and call good evil and evil good.
Joe Biden and Democrat leaders have promised to pass the Orwellianly-named “Equality Act,” which would add sexual orientation and gender identity as protected categories in federal law. You want to have a counselor help your son, who is getting brainwashed into thinking he is a girl in public school? Even if he wants to be normal and not a pervert, it would be against the law to help him. You realize you have made a big mistake in putting your child in a public school and so you put him in a Christian school? Biden would try to destroy your Christian school by forcing it to hire teachers that are sodomites. You have a business that offers health insurance? You will be forced to pay for employees if they want to mutilate their bodies and pretend to be the other sex. You don’t want a grown and morally twisted man taking off his clothes with your daughter alone in a locker room? Too bad, so sad. Sodom and Gomorrah, here we come!
You don’t want to pay for the murder of little baby boys and girls in the womb? Joe Biden will not only force you to pay for abortion with your tax dollars, you will be forced to pay for bloody murder with your own dollars–your conscience does not matter. Even without the abomination of the “Equality Act,” Joe Biden has fully endorsed the Obama administration’s policies when it tried to destroy Wheaton College because the school would not pay for abortion. Obama wanted to destroy the Little Sisters of the Poor because they would not pay for health insurance that included abortion and contraception for nuns. Forget helping the poor–destroying nuns unless they were willing to pay for abortion was more important, even to the point of making celibate nuns pay for abortion. Biden will appoint judges to the Supreme Court who will through judicial tyranny destroy the First Amendment in favor of the sexual revolution.
2.) If you sigh and cry over the abomination of abortion, you must vote for Donald Trump.
Donald Trump has enacted many pro-life policies, and it is very possible that his judicial appointments will finally result in Roe v. Wade being overturned. Joe Biden is extremely pro-abortion. He is committed to making sure that children can be murdered all the way up to birth. He is part of a Democrat party that opposed the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act–even infanticide is acceptable. Babies do not even get the painkillers given to dogs and cats before the children are ripped limb from limb in excruciating pain and thrown in the garbage. A vote for Biden, or a vote for the Constitution party candidate or any other person who has 0% chance to actually win, is failing to do what you can to help stop this continued mass murder.
3.) If you value free speech and oppose communist Antifa thugs Burning, Looting, and Murdering (BLM), then you must vote for Donald Trump.
Donald Trump stands against Antifa and all other violent criminals who burn, loot, and plunder, whether anarchists, white supremacists, black supremacists, etc. Joe Biden has been very weak and wobbly on condemning left-wing political violence as it rages unchecked through Democrat-controlled parts of the country. Kamala Harris, Biden’s Vice President who, in light of Biden’s age, is very likely to seize power if Biden wins, has made ridiculous statements in support of the anarchists in Portland–oh, and by the way, she would confiscate your firearms too, and do so even without Congress solely by executive branch tyranny, so you can’t even defend yourself when the bad boys come for you.
Right here in San Francisco, last Saturday (as I write this) when I was driving home from work, I saw a lot of police in riot gear. I did not stop to find out what was going on–when you see a lot of police in riot gear, keep going. I found out later that they were there because of a protest in favor of free speech organized by a black conservative man, Philip Anderson (pictured below):

Mr. Anderson and other supporters of free speech had peacefully gathered to petition in favor of free speech. (It wasn’t even a rally in favor of Trump–just in favor of free speech.) They were greeted by mobs of Antifa thugs holding BLM signs. One of the BLM /Antifa thugs punched Mr. Anderson in the face twice, bloodying him up and causing him to lose several teeth:

Mr. Anderson had done absolutely nothing to justify this vicious assault. The Antifa crowds helped to protect the thug who battered Mr. Anderson while they shouted “nig-r” and various four-letter words at Mr. Anderson while holding their Black Lives Matter signs. Another one of the supporters of free speech was taken away in an ambulance because of Antifa violence, and several police officers were injured–and that was all in about 15 minutes before the police ended the free speech rally and whisked away the conservatives before the rest of them were bloodied, beaten, or killed.
The mayor of San Francisco condemned Antifa and said that free speech must be defended. (Sorry, just kidding.)
Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, and representative from San Francisco, condemned the violence against Mr. Anderson and others. (Sorry, just kidding again).
What actually happened is that the San Francisco Chronicle and other leftist news outlets reported that there were “clashes between pro and anti Trump groups” that resulted in “six injured.” rather than the truth, that communist Antifa criminals had with no provocation violently assaulted defenders of free speech and the police.
This is just one of the countless examples of violence that leftist radicals and criminals have perpetrated all around the country, aided and abetted by leftist politicians like Joe Biden who want their votes. Can you imagine what would be happening if one person wearing a MAGA hat punched and knocked the teeth out of a leftist black man? Would it not be inconceivably more coverage than the thousands of acts of illegal violence orchestrated by Antifa have received?
There are many other reasons to vote for Donald Trump, but the three above should be far, far more than enough.
Please note that one reason to vote for Donald Trump is not because of his character, because he is a great moral example, or because he is constitutionally fit to be President. (Joe Biden has extreme character problems as well.) Trump is very frequently embarrassing and he was far, far from my first choice in the Republican primary. I am not for Donald Trump the way that I am actually for Mike Pence. But by voting for Trump I will be able to cringe at his crazy tweets from my home in peace, or shake my head at what he says from my church in peace, instead of having to do it from prison for standing against the homosexual agenda, or from a soup kitchen line because Biden and Harris have destroyed my business for not paying for abortion, or from a hospital because an Antifa thug has burned my house down and smashed a bottle over my head, or from a morgue–no, excuse me, they don’t bury the babies murdered by abortion, so more correctly–or from a garbage bin filled with little bloodied hands and legs and ribs and eyes that, instead of being able to look up at a smiling mother and father caressing and kissing them, are ripped in pieces and covered with gore–knowing that I am being forced to support this mass murder under a Biden-Harris administration.’https://kentbrandenburg.blogspot.com/
Just in case you need some good advice on the upcoming Presidential election.
We live overseas and have dual citizenship and therefore, we may still have the privilege of voting in the USA elections. We vote for the one we believe will continue to uphold the Constitution as the founding fathers intended. Nevertheless, the enemies of freedom have been at work since the founding of the nation and are today doing all they can to tear down America morally, finically and spiritually. Sometimes it seems like a losing battle but God is still on the throne. May this reading of Psalm One be a blessing to you as you meditate not on man but on the Creator and Sustainer of all life! Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Do you understand the Electoral College? Well, the Left want to do away with it but is that wise? ‘Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), says she’s “open to” the idea of eliminating the Electoral College. But what would that mean for how America elects her presidents?
Whenever election season rolls around, so does widespread confusion about what actually happens on Election Day every four years. So we spoke with an expert, author and attorney Tara Ross, about the Electoral College system.
Much of the problem, Ross explained, falls back to poor education.
“Nobody has taught us about this,” she said. “I was in my last semester of law school, so I’m in graduate school, and I realize, ‘Nobody’s ever really taught this to me.’ I thought I understood it, but I really didn’t.”
The way many teachers explain the Electoral College “is not flattering,” Ross said, arguing many never take the time to teach students “why it was created, why the founders considered it important, and what benefits it still provides today.”
Ross said it’s a “complete misperception” to think Election Day in America is one enormous election from coast-to-coast. In reality, it’s 51 smaller elections: one in every state and one in Washington, D.C.
“Each of these elections is purely democratic — one person, one vote,” she said. “Everything you hear people say they want in an election, that’s what’s happening. But it happens at the state level, not at the national level.”
The “Why We Need the Electoral College” author, who lives in Texas, used her own state to explain how the system works.
On Nov. 3, Americans aren’t really voting directly for President Donald Trump or Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden; they are voting for a slate of electors — Democratic or Republican — who will later cast their votes for the incumbent president or the former vice president.
Because Texas has 36 congresspeople and two senators, it has 38 electors. That same metric applies to every state.
“Our election on Election Day is not an election for president,” Ross said. “It’s an election for who is going to fill those 38 seats. It’s a statewide office that we are holding a statewide election for, presidential electors.”
Most states, she noted, allocate those spots in a “winner-take-all” fashion.
“So if the Republican candidate wins [Texas], 38 Republicans are elected to fill the statewide office of presidential elector,” Ross explained. “If the Democrat wins, then, of course, 38 Democrats are elected to fill the role of presidential elector for Texas.”
Those electors will then vote Dec. 14 for their respective states’ winning candidate, Trump or Biden. There are a total of 538 electors in the Electoral College, requiring candidates to secure 270 votes to win the presidency.
“So that’s how it works,” Ross said.
How does the Electoral College protect election integrity?
The Electoral College system protects voters in two ways.
Referring back to 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who won the country’s popular vote but fell short in the Electoral College, Ross pointed out that the former diplomat’s biggest error was focusing too much on large, urban areas while dismissing more suburban and rural parts of the country. In fact, according to Ross, Clinton’s greatest mistake came in the final weeks of the campaign, when her team was confident she’d win in the Electoral College but were concerned the popular vote could go to then-candidate Trump. To make up that perceived imbalance, Clinton spent a great deal of time in safe, urban areas in an effort to drive up the popular vote to match what she saw as a certain victory in the Electoral College. As we all now know, Clinton ended up beating Trump in the popular vote but losing with the Electoral College, where it really matters.
The Electoral College entices presidential candidates “to appeal to as many people as possible,” rather than spending the majority of their time doling out red meat to their respective bases in politically safe areas, Ross said.
“We’re supposed to do better than that,” she continued. “We’re supposed to focus on the things that bring us together as Americans, to get as many people under the umbrella as we possibly can. And historically speaking, the Electoral College rewards the candidate that does the very best job of that.”
Another way the Electoral College protects voters is by making election fraud and tampering more difficult.
Since Election Day isn’t actually one massive election but 51 local elections, it slows the process down and breaks it up into a lot of different and disconnected pieces.
“In the system that we have, you need several things to go your way before you can steal the election,” Ross said. “One is you need the national electoral vote total to be close, which doesn’t usually happen, actually. Two, you need a handful of states with the right number of electors to also be close, so that flipping those states would be enough. And three, you need to be able to predict in advance which states those are so that you can get it done before the election.”
Accomplishing all those things at once is not impossible, Ross noted, but it’s “very hard” to orchestrate it to give any given candidate the nationwide outcome he or she wants.
While stealing some votes in deeply blue or red precincts might not be as difficult, it’s ultimately unlikely to change the national outcome. The areas to look out for, Ross said, are places where the political makeup is more ambiguous.
Because the Electoral College system slows down the process of electing a president, Ross said, it allows time to “isolate” any problem areas.
“You don’t have to recount the entire country,” she said. “You can focus your attention on the subset of problems, figure it out, and move on to a certain outcome. That is way better than trying to recount the whole country.”
“There’s no perfect system,” Ross added. “But it makes it as difficult as possible to steal an election.”’https://www.faithwire.com/2020/10/23/what-actually-happens-on-election-day-electoral-college-expert-breaks-it-down/?utm_source=FWNL
‘It’s the election equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting ‘LA-LA-LA-LA’. Joe Biden keeps ignoring questions about his possible role in the business dealings of his shady son. He keeps losing his temper with reporters who dare to insist that he has an obligation to answer legitimate public concerns. Most of the media, which supports Biden, can keep insisting that the New York Post’s big Hunter story is a dud, and publishing endless malicious snark about how shabby the paper’s standards are. Twitter and Facebook can keep insisting that they were obliged, according to their own codes of practice, to stop the story circulating online, even though we all know those standards are applied with ridiculous inconsistency.
But stories don’t just disappear because one side can’t stomach them. The truth has a nasty habit of coming out, and the clamour around the Biden campaign won’t vanish just because the Biden campaign wants it to. No intelligent observer is all that surprised to learn that the sources for the New York Post story were Trump allies Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon. It is perhaps depressing that investigative journalism often relies on scoops delivered on a plate by political operatives with an agenda, but that’s the world we live in. Sources have motives, often malign. Who knew?
The problem for the Biden campaign is that most people probably don’t care too much about whether the story is ethically sourced. They care about whether it is true. Is the email allegedly found on Hunter Biden’s laptop suggesting that Joe Biden met with a board member of Burisma, the dodgy Ukrainian mining company, which was paying his son $50,000 a month, true? Or is it fake? What about the email suggesting the ‘big guy’ would get 10 per cent of equity from a deal with a Chinese company? Is that fake, too? If not, who is Mr Big? Is it, as Fox News has alleged, dear old Joe? That seems like a story of public interest worth looking into, given that Biden is close to being elected the leader of the free world.
It’s funny that the New York Times, Vanity Fair, CNN and others seem to have spent considerable resources attacking the New York Post over its reporting, which only heightens the sense of a cover up. They seem to have little appetite for disproving the story, which would actually make it go away. What Team Biden and all their media boosters can’t seem to grasp is that this information isn’t going to vanish. There is still another side and they aren’t shutting up. The hope in the Biden campaign is that most Democratic voters are so partisan these days that they just won’t be interested in a story that originated in Trump world. But there’s more on that laptop and the clamour to answer questions will not be silenced. The Hunter Biden story is not going away. It could end up giving Donald Trump four more years in the Oval Office.’https://spectator.com.au/2020/10/the-hunter-biden-story-isnt-going-away/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WORL%20%2020201022%20%20AL&utm_content=WORL%20%2020201022%20%20AL+CID_7c8e7e2a9126b3fd5e8e26f8353677fa&utm_source=CampaignMonitor_Australia&utm_term=Freddy%20Gray
