Even if Donald Trump gets reelected things will not get any better in the USA. Why? Because, the God of the Bible and His Word have not only been banned in government schools and universities but supposedly many calling themselves ‘evangelicals’ don’t even believe God’s Word. The reality of this disbelief is seen in the recent disgusting devilish deceitful lifestyle of ‘evangelical’ Jerry Falwell Jr. Nevertheless, ‘Every four years, there is a tremendous amount of discussion about “evangelical voters” and the influence that they will have on the outcome of the presidential election.
Most of the pundits on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News speak of evangelicals as if they were this monolithic group that all generally vote the same way and generally believe the same basic things. Perhaps that was somewhat true at one time, but now things have dramatically changed.
As you will see below, surveys have found that large numbers of evangelicals are abandoning core evangelical beliefs at a rate that is staggering. In fact, it has gotten to a point where I am not even sure what an “evangelical Christian” is anymore. I figured that a good place to look for a definition of “evangelical Christian” in 2020 would be on the official website of the organization that is supposed to be representing us on a national level.
According to the National Association Of Evangelicals, there are certain distinct beliefs that set evangelical Christians apart from the rest of the population…
Evangelicals take the Bible seriously and believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The term “evangelical” comes from the Greek word euangelion, meaning “the good news” or the “gospel.” Thus, the evangelical faith focuses on the “good news” of salvation brought to sinners by Jesus Christ.
That definition seems quite soft to me, but let’s run with it.
Evangelicals are supposed to believe that Jesus is Lord, but it appears that nearly a third of them do not really understand what that means. According to one recent survey, a whopping 30 percent of all evangelicals believe that “Jesus isn’t God”…
More than half of American adults, including 30% of evangelicals, say Jesus isn’t God but most agree He was a great teacher, according to results from the 2020 State of Theology survey.
Even though the Bible and traditional teachings of the Christian Church hold that Jesus truly existed as both man and God, among the key findings of the biennial State of Theology survey from Ligonier Ministries conducted with LifeWay Research, is that 52% of American adults believe that Jesus was a great teacher and nothing more.
I don’t understand how this could possibly be happening.
Either evangelical churches are doing an exceedingly poor job of teaching basic theology, or evangelicals are rejecting that teaching in staggering numbers.
Let’s take a look at another issue.
According to a survey that was conducted last year, 61 percent of evangelical Christians want the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade…
In a 2019 survey, most Americans (70%) said they oppose overturning Roe v. Wade. But several states have enacted laws designed to challenge the ruling in recent years, including bills passed in seven states (among them Louisiana) that seek to ban almost all abortions.
White evangelical Protestants (61%) are much more likely to say they want the high court to completely overturn Roe v. Wade than are Catholics (28%), white Protestants who are not evangelical (26%) and religious “nones” (10%).
It is great that evangelicals are more likely than any other group to want Roe v. Wade overturned, but why isn’t the number for evangelicals 100 percent?
According to the survey, 35 percent of evangelicals actually want the Supreme Court to keep Roe v. Wade in place.
But those two things should be mutually exclusive. If you are an evangelical Christian, it should be impossible for you to support Roe v. Wade.
How in the world could more than a third of all evangelicals want to keep abortion legal?
And when it comes to gay marriage, we see numbers that are even more alarming. The following comes from an article that was authored by Jim Denison…
Two reports caught my eye this week.
One: In 2007, 90 percent of evangelicals said their church forbid (63 percent) or strongly discouraged (27 percent) “homosexual behaviors.” In 2020, that figure has dropped to 65 percent (33.7 percent forbid, while 31.4 percent strongly discourage).
Two: In 2008, 34.4 percent of evangelicals between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five supported same-sex marriage. In 2018, that figure had risen to 56.1 percent.
How are these numbers possible?
In the old days, it was well understood that “evangelical Christians” were against abortion and gay marriage.
But now a new generation of “evangelical Christians” has come along that is changing all of the old definitions.
Like I said, I am not sure that I can even define what an “evangelical Christian” is anymore.
At this point, a lot of “evangelical Christian” young people don’t even like using words that directly relate to evangelism…
For example, 35% of young adults and 38% of teens said the word “convert” tops the list of objectionable mission-related words for them. And 31% of young adults and 30% of teens also rejected the term “winning souls.”
If you don’t believe in “converting” people or “winning souls”, how in the world can you even call yourself an “evangelical”?
I simply don’t understand.
Sadly, this is yet more evidence of the rapid decline of the Christian faith in much of the industrialized world. According to researcher Ronald F. Inglehart, this decline has really picked up speed since 2007…
But since 2007, things have changed with surprising speed. From about 2007 to 2019, the overwhelming majority of the countries we studied–43 out of 49–became less religious. The decline in belief was not confined to high-income countries and appeared across most of the world.
Growing numbers of people no longer find religion a necessary source of support and meaning in their lives. Even the United States–long cited as proof that an economically advanced society can be strongly religious–has now joined other wealthy countries in moving away from religion.
And the decline in the United States has been particularly noticeable. According to Inglehart, since 2007 the U.S. has moved away from religion faster than any other country…

Since then, the United States has shown the largest move away from religion of any country for which we have data. The Board of Trustees is not a legitimate governing body. For years, Board meetings have been infrequent, brief, and filled with propaganda from Falwell and his staff. The Board is not qualified to determine who is best fit to lead Liberty, and its members should humbly recognize that.
After accepting Falwell’s permanent resignation, four things need to happen for Liberty to move in a positive direction. First, the Board of Trustees must permanently remove all the beneficiaries of Falwell’s inappropriate nepotism. Second, the Board should hire independent legal counsel to investigate the claims of financial corruption documented in previous reporting. ‘Is it right to do one monstrous wrong in order to produce a world-changing positive impact on all deprived, desperate, deformed, diseased, and dying people of the world? The Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoyevsky, in perhaps the world’s greatest novel The Brothers Karamazov, seeks to answer that question.
The character Ivan Karamazov, a flaming atheist, blames God for permitting the innocent to suffer. (Don’t they all?) Then Ivan asks his brother Alyosha, a professed believer, if he would do a bad act if it resulted in the eternal happiness of mankind. His required act would be to torture an innocent child after which this eternal happiness would come into existence.
Ivan asks, “Would you consent to be the architect under those conditions? Tell me honestly!”
“No, I wouldn’t agree,” said Alyosha quietly.
Neither would I. The basic premise doing evil that good may come of it is flawed.
It is tempting to do one act of cruelty that would give sight to every blind person, permit the crippled to walk, and eliminate all deadly diseases in the world. However, my refusal would not be a lack of concern for others but because of personal honor, responsibility, and accountability. Every person on earth must give an account for his or her own actions.
I am not responsible for decisions made by world leaders; however, I must give a personal account for what I do and my motives for doing it. Even if doing wrong would result in much good, I cannot do it—no matter how strong my altruistic desires may be.
That now brings me to a very practical, personal, and problematic decision made in time of war. What are my obligations before God for actions in time of a national emergency?
I have often silently questioned the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (neither was a vital military target) to end WWII and restore relative peace, permanency, and prosperity to the world. After much thought, I would not have dropped those bombs nor done the bombings of Hamburg and Dresden!
It has been long recognized that bombing of enemy barracks, communication centers, railroads, airports, and fuel depots was acceptable, but never targeting civilians. Churchill changed that followed by Hitler’s nightly bombing of London.
No, I am not a pacifist. I believe in personal defense and I believe a nation must defend itself. Japan attacked us; we had to respond. Roosevelt had cut off Japan’s oil supply, basically a death blow to an oil-starved nation, so the Japanese leaders retaliated; however, they did attack us. But was there justification for dropping the atomic bombs killing 185,000 innocent civilians?
The experts told us that up to a million American lives would be lost if an invasion of Japan were launched. Moreover, the argument was made that in killing so many people in nuclear blasts, it would drive Japan to the negotiating table; however, Japan had been willing to surrender but not “unconditionally” as required by the Allied Powers. That is what continued the war.
If I had been a soldier during WWII, I suppose I would have been a pilot since I later became one and a plane owner. I would have had no problem being a fighter pilot since that is a one-on-one fight between two soldiers in defense of their nation’s objectives. However, if I had flown over Hamburg with a load of bombs knowing there were thousands of innocent people below that had nothing to do with the war, I could not have pushed a button and released the bombs on innocent people. From 42,000 to 45,000 people died in the destruction of Hamburg with more people dying in that bombing alone than in the entire German bombing campaign against England!
Many would call my refusal to bomb German civilians treason to my country but I’m convinced it is faithfulness to God; however, this is one time I must not be too hard on my critics. I might be, notice I said, I might be wrong; but my Bible-based conscience says I’m right.
During the closing stages of the war in 1945, Churchill reveled in bombing the German populace and refugees as they tried to escape from Germany. He knew terror worked. Churchill revealed his desire to use terror bombing in a memorandum in November 1942 in which he declared that “all the industrial cities should be attacked in an intense fashion, every effort being made to terrorise and paralyse the population.” Yes, Churchill was a terrorist, but he was “our” terrorist and President Roosevelt agreed with his decision to terrorize and kill civilians. Stalin was delighted.
Dresden was an old city with few military targets (and not one anti-aircraft gun) and was crowded with refugees from Breslau fleeing the Russian advance into Germany. Breslau had experienced a killing field that cost the lives of 170,000 civilians. The refuges and Dresden citizens, thinking they were relatively safe were shocked on the night of February 13, 1945 to see 800 RAF bombers drop more than 1,400 tons of bombs and more than 1,100 tons of incendiaries over the city creating a massive firestorm that incinerated an estimated 25,000 to over 300,000 civilian deaths!
The Dresden bombing was the most controversial and tragic bombing of the war. Even a certified butcher would have difficulty defending it.
About six months later, President Truman decided to end the war by using the atomic bomb against Hiroshima and Nagasaki; but contrary to what most people think, it was not a universally approved decision. However, it was a popular decision in America at the time.
Under Secretary of the Navy Ralph Bird, General Curtis LeMay, Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, former President Herbert Hoover, and President Truman’s chief of staff Admiral William Leahy had voiced protests about using the bomb but their protests had no impact on Truman’s decision.
The President, no doubt thinking it was the wise decision, ordered the Japanese cities to be bombed in August of 1945. In 1946, Truman ordered a U.S. Bombing Survey to be done a few months after the two Japanese cities were bombed, and it decided, “Japan would have surrendered even if the atomic bombs had not been dropped, even if Russia had not entered the war, and even if no invasion had been planned or contemplated.”
The use of nuclear bombs killing 185,000 innocent people within a few days and injuring 135,000 more was unnecessary, and the nuclear genie was released from the bottle.
It was discovered years later that many famous, powerful American officials disagreed with the decision to use the Bomb.
Norman Cousins, a famous author, editor, and aide to General MacArthur, asked the general about dropping the bomb and “He replied that he saw no military justification for the dropping of the bomb. The war might have ended weeks earlier, he said, if the United States had agreed, as it later did anyway, to the retention of the institution of the emperor.”
General Eisenhower confessed, “The Japanese were ready to surrender and it wasn’t necessary to hit them with that awful thing” (Newsweek, 11/11/63).
Soon after the bombing of Japan, Admiral William F. Halsey, commander of the Third Fleet, was publicly quoted as stating that the atomic bomb was used because the scientists had a “toy and they wanted to try it out…The first atomic bomb was an unnecessary experiment…It was a mistake to ever drop it.”
Concerning the war in Europe, Hitler said, “Terrorism is the best political weapon for nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death.” The definition of terrorism is “the targeting of innocent civilians to achieve a political goal.” Churchill, Roosevelt, and Stalin used terror against a German terrorist with a bad haircut and funny mustache who had grandiose military ambitions.
The Allies, ostensibly taking the high ground in all matters, decided to become temporary terrorists!

If you’re a conservative protester, you’re most likely to be ignored. The networks mostly ignored this year’s prayerful “March for Life” in January, even though President Trump came in person, a historic first.
ABC anchor David Muir offered 15 seconds: “The President taking the stage at the anti- abortion rights rally. His administration threatening to withhold federal funds from California for requiring private insurers to cover abortions. California’s governor dismissing the threat.”
If conservative protesters are not ignored, they’re most likely to be portrayed as a menace to polite society….even when the protests are nonviolent. Ten years ago, when the Tea Party assembled on Capitol Hill to oppose the passage of Obamacare as unconstitutional, “ugly” was the network term for the tone of the protests.
“Late word from Washington tonight about just how ugly the crowds gathered outside the Longworth Office Building have become,” warned David Muir on March 20, 2010. “We learned that as Congressman Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri was leaving his office, someone in the crowd spit on him. There are also reports of racial and homophobic slurs, one targeting Congressman John Lewis, the famous civil rights champion, and the other involving Congressman Barney Frank. You can listen in for yourself.”
But Cleaver’s spitting claim and the yelling of the N-word were never proven. Andrew Breitbart pledged $100,000 to the United Negro College Fund if anyone provided proof of the N-words, and no one had the goods.
Over at CBS, anchor Bob Schieffer doubled down: “A yearlong debate that’s been rancorous and mean from the start turned even nastier yesterday.”
Let’s repeat: the accusations were that these “nasty” right-wingers said mean words. There was no looting, rioting, burning, vandalism, or violence. No one’s life or limbs were in danger.
Fast-forward ten years to 2020. Left-wingers in Portland and other cities are tearing things down, burning things up, and throwing projectiles at police. Hundreds of cops are being injured. Several suffered possibly permanent eye damage from high-powered lasers.
But the protesters (and rioters) are now on the Left, so the weasel words and the euphemisms flow. Reporters mumble about “mostly peaceful” protests. None of these “objective” referees measure the tone of the Left as possibly “rancorous and mean and nasty.” When you’re protesting police officers and federal security guards, there’s no need to offer dignified discourse.
Compare David Muir in 2010 to Muir on July 27: “Now to those protests turning violent. Demonstrators squaring off with federal officers in Portland, Oregon. Protests over racial injustice intensifying. Local leaders say the federal presence is only fueling this.”
Muir and his colleagues have a real chicken-or-the-egg problem here. Federal security officers arrived to defend federal property under attack from violent leftists. How is it that ABC is suddenly trying to sound “fair and balanced” when it comes to “local leaders” attempting to destroy a federal building, something we all fund with our taxes?
ABC’s Twitter account sounded even worse as leftists erupted in Oakland: “Protesters in California set fire to a courthouse, damaged a police station and assaulted officers after a peaceful demonstration intensified.” If someone punched David Muir in the face, would that be a “peaceful demonstration intensified”?
This double standard underscores what we have long known. The media offer no reward for conservatives and Republicans being nice and polite. The media seek to prevent any damage as the Left unleashes vicious invective and violence. This is just one of the problems with the proposed “digital dollar” or “fedcoin.”
Fedcoin was initially included in the first coronavirus spending bill. While the proposal was dropped from the final version of the bill, there is still great interest in fedcoin on Capitol Hill. Some progressives have embraced fedcoin as a way to provide Americans with a “universal basic income.”
Both the Senate Banking Committee and the House Financial Services Committee held hearings on fedcoin in June. This is the first step toward making fedcoin a reality.
Fedcoin would not be an actual coin. Instead, it would be a special account created and maintained for each American by the Federal Reserve. Each month, Fed employees could tap a few keys on a computer and — bingo — each American would have dollars added to his Federal Reserve account. This is the 21st century equivalent of throwing money from helicopters.
Fedcoin could effect private cryptocurrencies. Also, it would limit the ability of private citizens to protect themselves from the Federal Reserve-caused decline in the dollar’s value.
Fedcoin would not magically increase the number of available goods and services. What it would do is drive up prices. The damage this would do to middle- and lower-income Americans would dwarf any benefit they receive from their monthly “gift” from the Fed. The rise in prices could lead to Congress regularly increasing fedcoin payments to Americans. These increases would cause prices to keep rising even more until we face hyperinflation and a dollar crisis. Of course, we are already on the path to an economic crisis thanks to the Fed. Fedcoin will hasten and worsen the crisis.
Fedcoin poses a great threat to privacy. The Federal Reserve could know when fedcoin is used, who is using it, and what they use it for. This information could be shared with government agencies, such as the FBI or IRS.
The government could use the ability to know how Americans are spending fedcoin to limit our ability to purchase goods and services disfavored by politicians and bureaucrats. Anyone who doubts this should recall the Obama administration’s Operation Choke Point. Operation Choke Point involved financial regulators “alerting” banks that dealing with certain businesses, such as gun stores, would put the banks at “reputational risk” and could subject them to greater regulation.
Is it so hard to believe that the ability to track purchases would be used in the future to “discourage” individuals from buying guns, fatty foods, or tobacco, or from being customers of corporations whose CEOs are not considered “woke” by the thought police? Fedcoin could also be used to “encourage” individuals to patronize “green” business, thus fulfilling Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s goal of involving the Fed in the fight against climate change.
Fedcoin could threaten private cryptocurrencies, increase inflation, and give government new powers over our financial transactions. Fedcoin will also speed up destruction of the fiat money system. So, here we are where ‘Marquette University has threatened to reconsider their admission acceptance of a recent high school graduate, citing a pro-Trump video the teen posted to social media.
Samantha Pfefferle, an 18-year-old girl, said in an interview with The College Fix that her admission to the university was no longer a guarantee and she was forced to undergo a series of morality questions in order to prove she still belonged in the school’s Class of 2024.
Pfefferle said she was asked how she would respond if a “Dreamer who lived down the hall” came up to her and said “she didn’t feel safe or comfortable” with the conservative views or her presence on campus.
“[He] had the heart to tell me I wasn’t a student,” Pfefferle said. “This means that my classification is still in limbo and is currently being decided by the administration.”
The video that Pfefferle posted to TikTok features the incoming freshman calling out the Trump haters and showing the world she does not care about what others think of her political beliefs.
She titled the video: “When the libs find their way to your page.”
Pfefferle has a series of captions sprawled in the video, as she dances and sings to 6ix9ine’s GOOBA.
The text sections read: “When people find out I support Trump, they try to hate on me…and change my views.”
People viciously attacked Pfefferle in the comments section of the video that has nearly 600,000 views.

People quickly figured out what school Pfefferle was going to in the fall given the fact that she was wearing a Marquette sweatshirt and the “Marquette University 2024” sign behind her.
The trolls said they would report her actions to Marquette admissions. The recent high school grad welcomed the threats in subsequent videos and liberals made good on their promise as the school attempted to “reeducate” Pfefferle before she even stepped foot on campus.
Conservatives quickly took to Twitter to defend Pfefferle, and strongly encourage Marquette to reconsider their decision to give the incoming freshman an ultimatum.

Stupid plays no favorites as is seen from Don Boys’ Common Sense for Today blog. ‘In a valiant effort to be fair and balanced, I found dumb statements made by Republicans that rival the Democrats’ dumb statements. After reading them, you will be shocked at how our resilient our Republic is.
Mark Twain rang the bell when he said, “Reader, suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.” Twain had it right.
Speaking of white people who were concerned about integrating public schools, President Eisenhower said, “These are not bad people. All they are concerned about is to see that their sweet little girls are not required to sit in school alongside some big overgrown Negroes.” Look for leftists to take down his statues and maybe even try to undo WWII!
President Gerald Ford shocked the world in a national television debate when he told us, “no Soviet domination [is] in Eastern Europe.” Of course, the world and especially the dominated Poles, knew that Poland was under Soviet domination. That may have cost Ford the election and inflicted us with Jimmy Carter.
President George W. Bush said, ”Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren’t able to practice their love with women all across this country.” Love is not part of a medical practice.
Bush said, “You bet I cut the taxes at the top. That encourages entrepreneurship. What we Republicans should stand for is growth in the economy. We ought to make the pie higher.” I’m not sure if a higher pie is a bigger pie or a better pie or maybe both.
Bush commented on public education saying, ”As yesterday’s positive report card shows, childrens do learn when standards are high and results are measured.” Well, childrens are important and must be taught how to speak and write good grammar.
The President stated, ”Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?” They isn’t.
Bush said, “I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.” Sure can.
He told a Chamber of Commerce group, “I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family.” Bush never wanted for anything since he is a Bush.
”You cannot be president of the United States if you don’t have faith. Remember Lincoln, going to his knees in times of trial and the Civil War and all that stuff. You can’t be. And we are blessed. So don’t feel sorry for—don’t cry for me, Argentina. Message: I care.” George, will you repeat that?

Bush had trouble with numbers when he said, “Throughout our history, the words of the Declaration have inspired immigrants from around the world to set sail to our shores. These immigrants have helped transform 13 small colonies into a great and growing nation of more than 300 people.”
When discussing the economy and frozen credit markets Bush said, “This thaw took a while to thaw, it’s going to take a while to unthaw.” Sure it will. Everyone knows unthawing takes time.
Bush opinioned, “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.” No sir, we’ll never stop.
As to his opinions, Bush admitted, “I have opinions of my own, strong opinions, but I don’t always agree with them.” I don’t either, George.
His dad H. W. Bush was not thinking when he said, ”For seven and a half years I’ve worked alongside President Reagan. We’ve had triumphs. Made some mistakes. We’ve had some sex…uh…setbacks.”
Bush declared, “Please don’t ask me to do that which I’ve just said I’m not going to do, because you’re burning up time. The meter is running through the sand on you, and I am now filibustering.” Say what?
He rightly declared, “I am not one who—who flamboyantly believes in throwing a lot of words around.” No, he was never accused of that.
Bush was really confused when he said, “I thought this guy was kind of dead.” Maybe like being kind of pregnant.
Bush prophesied, “I’ll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this Oval Office.” No, I don’t think it took long.
Senator Ted Stevens said, ”The internet is not something you just dump something on. It’s not a truck. It’s a series of tubes. And if you don’t understand, those tubes can be filled and if they are filled, when you put your message in, it gets in line and it’s going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material.” Yes, that’s the internet.
Vice President Dan Quayle forgot that he was not an astronaut when he said, ”Welcome to President Bush, Mrs. Bush, and my fellow astronauts.”
Dan said, “One word sums up probably the responsibility of any vice president, and that one word is ‘to be prepared.”’ Hold up your fingers and count, one, two, and three, then leave one standing. That’s one.
The Vice President said, ”What a waste it is to lose one’s mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is.” Yes, a lost mind is a wasteful thing.
He declared, “If we don’t succeed, we run the risk of failure.” Yes, I agree with that.
Quayle said, “Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child.” Sure they do.
Dan opined, “The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation’s history. I mean in this century’s history. But we all lived in this century. I didn’t live in this century.” Dan, you do live in this century. You and I lived in the same county in Indiana at the same time. Take my word for it.
Dan said, “I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future.”
Quayle predicted, “The future will be better tomorrow.” Probably.
The Vice President said, “We’re going to have the best-educated American people in the world.”
Dan declared, “We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a part of Europe.” I know Dan wasn’t smoking those funny cigarettes, maybe on meds?
He asserted, “I am not part of the problem. I am a Republican.” Dan, Republicans are part of the problem. A big part. So are Dems.
“I love California, I practically grew up in Phoenix.” Well, 148 miles almost qualifies as “practically.”
Dan keeps it going by saying, “It’s wonderful to be here in the great state of Chicago.” Same as the State of Confusion.
Dan really came up with a good one: “A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls.” Yes, one could say that.
Mr. Quayle said, “It isn’t pollution that’s harming the environment. It’s the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.” I never thought of that.
Dan said, “[It’s] time for the human race to enter the solar system.” I think so.
Finally, Dan said, “I stand by all the misstatements that I’ve made.” That’s a lot to stand by Dan.
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld sputtered, ”We know there are known knowns: there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns: that is to say we know there are things we know we don’t know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don’t know we don’t know.” Donald, would you say that again?
Rumsfeld also sputtered again, “We do know of certain knowledge that he [Osama Bin Laden] is either in Afghanistan, or in some other country, or dead.” Well, he can’t be wrong about that!
The Defense Secretary showed more mental confusion when he said, “I would not say that the future is necessarily less predictable than the past. I think the past was not predictable when it started.”
Senator John McCain had some problems with geography when he declared, “We have a lot of work to do. It’s a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq-Pakistan border.” The problem: the countries do not have a common border.
Governor Rick Perry also failed geography in the fifth grade as indicated when he said, “Juarez is reported to be the most dangerous city in America.” Make that Mexico, Rick.
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said, ”I think that gay marriage should be between a man and a woman.” Say what? Arnold went back to his day job.
This gem from Texas by a congressional candidate: “That lowdown scoundrel deserves to be kicked to death by a jackass, and I’m just the one to do it.” I think so.
