You may not agree with a North Carolina Pastor’s suggestion of what should be done with homosexuals and lesbians but it must be admitted he was right with his conclusion, that is if his plan was implemented. We have been away for a few days. I guess we are getting to that age where doctor appointments are a regular pass-time. Well, anyway what I want to blog about is the way words have changed and with the change has also come a lowering of morals.
Adultery is now just having an affair. Being a Sodomite has now been changed to being gay. Murder of the unborn is now simply abortion. The state that is broke may soon have “A taxpayer-funded pilot program…training people who are not physicians to do first-trimester vacuum aspiration surgical abortions – with as little as two days of instruction…” It is no surprise that “Sponsors of the legislation included Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California…” but it was surprising and sad that “it had the backing of the leaders of both houses of the Legislature.” Whatyareckon?

It isn’t really new news or even surprising news that Obama has come out in favour of same sex marriage but what did surprise me is that some news reporters had the audacity to say Obama was brave in making this statement. BRAVE!? The Leftist media all praised Obama for his courageous “coming out” and condemned Romney for his opposition to same sex marriage. Personally, I believe the BRAVE person is the one who says they do not agree with accepting abortion, same sex marriage and all the other deviant issues and lifestyles that are being promoted to a gullible society! As most of us who live in Australia know the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is far from being a conservative voice. The last Question for the programme was “PARLIAMENT PRAYERS – Helen Heath asked: ‘In the 2006 Census, less than two-thirds of Australians identified themselves as Christian. In Dandenong, we celebrate this diversity and at the start of each local council meeting, a prayer is offered by a faith leader from a different religious community on a rotational basis. Is it time for the opening of Commonwealth and State parliaments to be marked by not only the Lord’s Prayer but also prayers from a variety of religious traditions?”’
The ecumenical forget where our nation came from philosophy. The only voice for continuing only with the Lord’s Prayer was federal Liberal MP Sophie Mirabella and she was booed! Where were the anti-bullying police!? Whatyareckon?

Hipps said concerning the reality of a hell that he takes “…a position when I know something with certainty. Almost always through direct experience.” Hipps went on to state that “…until I’ve experienced it, this is only something I believe– a possibility.” Hipps walks by sight (experience) so it seems but what does the Scripture saith? Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” John 20:29 “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” 2Co 5:7 “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” Is Hipps one of the blind leading the blind? Recently a brochure was received in the post giving an invitation to some preaching meetings that are said to be “refreshing and thought provoking, wholly based on the Bible…” Note the words “wholly based on the Bible”. Well, the brochure listed a web site http://www.prs.lighthousebaptist.com.au/videos-3 which had a “preaching” video from their 2010 meeting. View the video and tell me “Whatyareckon”?
Recently I read that the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism’s (ABWE) “Viggo Olsen, who served 33 years overseas as a medical missionary…is a legend in Bangladesh and in missionary circles around the world. The New York Times even compared him to Dr. David Livingstone, the great 19th-century medical missionary and African explorer.” However, all Olsen did in the past so said the article “…may fade in comparison to the work he is doing now. He and his wife, Joan, a distinguished missionary in her own right, are translating the New Testament into Muslim-friendly English.” Note the words “Muslim-friendly” English. How would one translate a “Jewish-friendly” Bible? Think about it, if the Word of God is translated accuratly does the sinner, who has come short of the glory of God, ever see it is a friendly book until he or she is brought to Christ by faith? The Olsen’s Bengali New Testament was printed by the United Bible Societies and followed the NIV translation method of dynamic equivalency and no doubt his new translation will as well. It is also worthy to note that Dr. Olsen served at the same time and in the same hospital, Memorial Christian, as the ABWE pedophile Dr. Donn Ketcham. Whatyareckon?
