Do you think Sleepy Creepy, Hair sniffing Joe reads the letters that are addressed to him? I don’t think so but anyway, ‘Iranian dissidents wrote a letter to President Joe Biden this week urging the administration to maintain “maximum political, diplomatic and financial pressure” on the Islamic Republic, preceding a report released by the Iran Human Rights Monitor (IHRM), further substantiating the Iranian people’s urgency, that details the unjust executions of at least 27 prisoners by the Iranian regime in January alone.
“Mr. President, we firmly believe that the new political reality in Iran and the Middle East has provided the Iranian people with a historic opportunity to achieve a peaceful transition to secular democracy…the Islamic Republic Theocracy is on the verge of collapse,” wrote the Iranian dissidents, later citing the Abraham Accords as major reasons for this opportunity.
The letter discusses the brutality of Iran’s government against its own citizens, highlighting the regime’s 2019 massacre of 1500 peaceful protestors and focuses on the resilience of the Iranian people in their quest to live under a peaceful, democratic government.
The case of Iranian prisoner Javid Dehghan, who was executed the last week of January is detailed by the IHRM as one example of the injustice faced by many Iranians at the hands of the regime.
“Iranian authorities executed Javid Dehghan from Iran’s Baluchi minority, despite a plea by the United Nations to halt his execution. He was severely tortured to make confessions. Amnesty has documented a shocking catalogue of fair trial violations in his case,” tweeted IHRM January 30.
Hassan Dehvari and Elias Qalandarzehi were also executed in January because they were allegedly thought to have family members engaged with dissident groups, according to the Baloch Campaign human rights group.
The dissidents are urging President Biden to refrain from reentering the Iran deal, citing the regime’s failure to funnel the freed-up money to its own citizens, rather using the funds to destabilize the region and fund terrorist proxies that exacerbate human rights abuses.’ https://www.foreigndesknews.com/middle-east/iran/27-hanged-by-islamic-republic-in-january-as-angry-iranians-pen-letter-to-biden/
Giving money to the UN is like the spending on the Climate Scam! It is MONEY tossed down a hole without a bottom. If the following wasn’t so serious one would laugh. Why? Because if there is one thing Afghanistan is NOT known for, it is gender equality and the championing of the rights of women. Nevertheless, “Afghanistan secures a coveted seat at the UN women’s commission,” Al Jazeera, September 15, 2020:Afghanistan has secured a seat at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) for the first time in its history, the South Asian country’s Permanent Mission to the UN announced on Tuesday.
Afghanistan received 39 votes to find a place at the prestigious body, which is dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women globally. India also secured a seat.
China was also a contender but failed to secure enough votes. The term will last from 2021 until 2025.
Afghanistan’s representative to the UN, Adela Raz, said winning the seat was of “critical importance”…’https://www.jihadwatch.org/2020/09/afghanistan-gets-seat-at-un-commission-on-the-status-of-women-dedicated-to-promotion-of-gender-equality?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=the_2020_09_18_jihad_watch_daily_digest&utm_term=2020-09-18
‘Although candidate Donald Trump repeatedly criticized Barack Obama’s Iran nuclear agreement, his administration has twice decided to remain in the deal. It so certified to
Congress, most recently in July, as required by law. Before the second certification, Trump asked repeatedly for alternatives to acquiescing yet again in a policy he clearly abhorred. But no such options were forthcoming, despite “a sharp series of exchanges” between the president and his advisers, as the New York Times and similar press reports characterized it.
Many outside the administration wondered how this was possible: Was Trump in control, or were his advisers? Defining a compelling rationale to exit Obama’s failed nuclear deal and elaborating a game plan to do so are quite easy. In fact, Steve Bannon asked me in late July to draw up just such a game plan for the president — the option he didn’t have — which I did.
Here it is. It is only five pages long, but like instant coffee, it can be readily expanded to a comprehensive, hundred-page playbook if the administration were to decide to leave the Iran agreement. There is no need to wait for the next certification deadline in October. Trump can and should free America from this execrable deal at the earliest opportunity.
I offer the paper now as a public service, since staff changes at the White House have made presenting it to President Trump impossible. Although he was once kind enough to tell me “come in and see me any time,” those days are now over.
If the president is never to see this option, so be it. But let it never be said that the option didn’t exist.’ https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10910/exit-iran-nuclear-deal
- ‘Can you imagine making a joke and facing death as a result?
- “During his interrogation, Sina was told that if he signed a confession and repented, he would be pardoned and let go,” said the source in an interview with CHRI on March 21, 2017. “Unfortunately, he made a childish decision and accepted the charges. Then they sentenced him to death.” “Later he admitted that he signed the confession hoping to get freed,” said the source. “Apparently the authorities also got him to confess in front of a camera as well.” — Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI).
- When the Islamists gain power, they immediately create their own “judiciary system” in order to “legitimize” their implementation of sharia law. In fact, the judiciary system is used less as a tool for bringing people to justice, and more as a tool to suppress freedom of speech and of the press.’ https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10170/iran-insulting-islam
‘Sina Dehghan, 21, has been sentenced to death in Iran for “insulting Islam”. There are many people like him in Iran who are currently imprisoned, tortured on a daily basis, or awaiting their execution for “insulting Islam”, “insulting the prophet”, “insulting the Supreme Leader” — the examples are endless. Australia has a couple of Muslims in government now. What does the future hold? Read again what is taking place in Iran, lest you forget.
“The trouble began on Jan. 12, when 10 U.S. Navy sailors on two small boats evidently mistakenly strayed into Iranian waters in the Persian Gulf. Iran captured the American sailors (nine men, one woman) and held them overnight. This, as Sen. John McCain pointed out, was a violation of international law: ‘[S]overeign immune vessels like navy ships and boats do not lose their sovereign immune status when they are in distress at sea,’ the senator noted in a statement. Under international law, therefore, the sailors ‘are exempt from detention, boarding, or search. Their crews are not subject to detention or arrest.’”
“And the United States government’s response to this calumny? For one, the State Department denied that the Geneva Conventions applied to the captured sailors, because we are ‘not at war with Iran.’ That would come as a surprise to the family members of the scores of American military personnel who have been killed by Iranian explosives in Afghanistan and Iraq. And perhaps more appalling, Secretary of State John Kerry actually thanked Iran for its behavior here. ‘I want to express my gratitude to Iranian authorities for their cooperation in swiftly resolving this matter,’ Secretary Kerry said.”http://www.providencejournal.com/article/20160119/opinion/160119221

We are always being told by those who are supposedly keeping us safe from terrorism that ISIS is not Islamic. Hum, do those in ISIS know that? Saying such does not make it true. In fact saying ISIS is not Islam is like the old saying “Is the Pope Catholic”? Sure he is and ISIS is Islamic! ISIS is Islamic just as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, and Iran are Islamic! This is NOT Islamphobia but reality which our leaders knowingly overlook.
