‘This is the incredible, endearing and heartwarming true story of Wojtek, the Polish bear that went to War.
As I was growing up in London, surrounded by Polish émigrés, I repeatedly heard this wonderful story about Wojtek, a Bear soldier who fought alongside the Polish II Corps.
Being from a very patriotic family, I had the pleasure of meeting many Polish war veterans, and deportees who had survived the Soviet Gulags; it was often they who told me about Wojtek.
The story deeply moved me as I always saw a similarity between the fates of these aging Polish veterans and that of Wojtek the Bear. They had so desperately wanted to go back to their homeland, but the imposition of a brutal Soviet backed communist regime meant that returning home was at best prison and at worst death. It is HARD to believe this occurred in Australia but it did. I was made aware of it last night on Sky News and the Alan Jones show. Alan had Mr. Williams flown from his property to Sydney to appear on the show and he looked like a broken man. What a disgrace this New South Wales (supposedly conservative) government is! RSPCA say last week’s seizure was the largest and took place after RSPCA NSW inspectors visited the five properties across 4807 hectares on 10 occassions between June 2018 and July 2019. There are unconfirmed reports of dead cattle found on the properties with numbers estimated between 200 and 800 head.
Contract musterer Scott Moreton took photos of the impounded cattle being offered for sale in tight pens at Dubbo, on Thursday.
“There’s a lot worse looking cattle about the state,” he said. “I’m worried this will set a bad precedent.”
Mr Moreton admitted Mr Williams’ looked “average” when they were on the road six months ago but in the meantime their condition had improved.
“Now that he’s done the right thing they’ve taken them off him. I went to the saleyards to see for myself and got the shock of my life at how good a condition they were in.”
Tamworth solicitor and RSPCA watchdog Judy Scrivener said Mr Williams was a gutted man with no income, no way to pay rates and nothing to feed in spite of $50,000 worth of hay delivered the week before the raid.
“This is more concerning than the Hertslet case,” she said referring to the the Trangie farmer sentanced to jail and fined $107,000 for starving cattle in 2009.

Have we enjoyed the benefits of true freedom so long that we no longer appreciate them? This is hard to believe but ‘A majority of Americans believe the First Amendment 
should be rewritten and are willing to crack down on free speech, as well as the press, according to a new poll.
More than 60 percent of Americans agree on restricting speech in some way, while a slim majority, 51 percent, want to see the First Amendment rewritten to “reflect the cultural norms of today.” The Campaign for Free Speech, which conducted the survey, said the results “indicate free speech is under more threat than previously believed.”
“The findings are frankly extraordinary,” executive director Bob Lystad told the Washington Free Beacon. “Our free speech rights and our free press rights have evolved well over 200 years, and people now seem to be rethinking them.”
Of the 1,004 respondents, young people were the most likely to support curbing free expression and punishing those who engage in “hate speech.” Nearly 60 percent of Millennials—respondents between the ages of 21 and 38—agreed that the Constitution “goes too far in allowing hate speech in modern America” and should be rewritten, compared to 48 percent of Gen Xers and 47 percent of Baby Boomers. A majority of Millennials also supported laws that would make “hate speech” a crime—of those supporters, 54 percent said violators should face jail time.
American hostility to the First Amendment did not stop at speech. Many would also like to see a crackdown on the free press. Nearly 60 percent of respondents agreed that the “government should be able to take action against newspapers and TV stations that publish content that is biased, inflammatory, or false.” Of those respondents, 46 percent supported possible jail time.
The poll was released just two days after two University of Connecticut students were arrested for allegedly saying racial slurs in a viral video. The 21-year-old suspects were allegedly playing “a game in which they yelled vulgar words,” according to the police report. Lystad said such incidents and the rise of social media may be behind the increased willingness of Americans to curb speech rights.
“I think [our findings] are fueled in large part because of a rise of hate speech, but traditionally, hate speech is protected in the First Amendment,” Lystad said. “The Supreme Court has upheld that principle time and time again.”
Lystad launched the Campaign for Free Speech to advocate for preserving free and open dialogue in America. The group emphasizes that hate speech should be denounced, but does not think censorship is the answer. The group plans to push back against efforts to restrict speech at the local, state, and federal levels.

What do the Holocaust and the making of Muhammad cartoons have to do with one another? For most normal thinking people they have nothing to do with each other but to the sensitive Muslim, they do!
‘Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the absence of an international policy against the generation of blasphemous content is a “collective failure” on part of the Muslim countries.
Addressing the Senate for the first time as prime minister on Monday 27 August, Imran Khan said his government will raise the matter before the United Nations. 
The Senate had passed a resolution to bring the UN’s attention to the matter regarding the announcement by the leader of Dutch Freedom Party and Parliamentarian Geert Wilders to hold a competition of blasphemous caricatures.
“Our government will raise the matter in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and ask the Muslim countries to come up with a collective policy that could then be brought up at international forums.”
“This should have been done years ago,” PM Khan said while giving the example of the Holocaust and how four European countries have jail sentences for “anyone who misquotes the figures of Holocaust. That is because they realise that this is something that hurts the sentiments of the Jewish community.”

So, lying about how many Jews were murdered in the Holocaust is comparable to the sentiments of the sensitive Muslim when a cartoon of Muhammad is drawn! How absurd is that?!
Well, the sensitive feeling Muslim did not need to worry for the Muhammad cartoon competition was canceled.

Does anyone see the irony in all this? It seems the sensitive feelings of Islamists supplant the freedom of non-Muslims!
