The myth that wind and solar are well on the way to replacing the energy provided by oil, coal and gas is just that. With or without mythical mega-batteries, with or without converting wind and solar generated electricity to so-called ‘green’ hydrogen, wind and solar power might occasionally displace conventionally generated electricity, but they haven’t a hope in hell of ever replacing it.
Hence the waffle about giant batteries and green hydrogen.
