Hubris is what drives wild claims that we can run on nothing but wind and solar; a case of bullish arrogance outdoing starry-eyed ambition.

Net-zero carbon dioxide gas emissions target are all the rage. And, so rent-seeking crony capitalists tell us, the only way of satisfying those targets is by going all in with wind and solar hooked up to a few mythical mega-batteries – at a staggering cost to taxpayers and power consumers, of course.

As with most things connected to the climate cult, the targets are set decades in the future. Never making a prediction, forecast or promise that you’ll be around long enough to see fail or proved wrong, makes good business sense for any enterprise based on fear and falsehoods.
