The grand wind and solar scam was designed so a few get to profit outrageously at the expense of the many – and they’re called ‘rent seekers’ for good reason:
Rent-seeking is an economic concept that occurs when an entity seeks to gain wealth without any reciprocal contribution of productivity. An example of rent-seeking is when a company lobbies the government for grants, subsidies, or tariff protection. Rent-seeking comes in many forms from lobbying or donating funds.
So, it’s no surprise that at the end of every massive wind and solar subsidy rainbow, you’ll find a rent-seeking, crony capitalist salivating at the opportunity to cash in, at your expense.
Audacity, cynicism and hypocrisy are worn like cheap cologne among those profiteering from the greatest economic and environmental fraud of all time; think Al Gore and his buddies.
