‘Greetings. Now, that I cannot log onto your Facebook page email will have to do.
Firstly, I would like to speak on the Roadmap to Recovery.
As my member I would like to know how this roadmap to recovery is much different than what I heard from those who lived in Russia under communism in the 50’s and 60’s? One example is “Travel between Regional areas will be permitted”. Permitted?! How does that statement fit into a democracy?
What is the ‘science’ behind how many people can get together one week and the next week another number is put out with no explanation? How did the science change?
In the beginning of this Wuhan Flu the word ‘science’ was thrown around like it meant something. In fact, after almost two years of this, one begins to wonder if anyone in the government really knows what true science is?
Secondly, I am concerned about this Assisted Dying Bill. The new Premier is allowing a conscious vote on this bill which seems odd. Here we have spent almost two years keeping all those in NSW safe from the virus so politicians can then turn around and vote for those same people they have sought to keep safe from the virus can now die with assistance. Do you see the irony in this?
Thank you for reading this.
Sincerely,
David C. Bennett’
I don’t anticipate a real answer to any of this but at least this politician knows my opinion (as if he might care) on these issues. I do try to understand how unsaved people look at things but these are elected officials making decisions on issues that affects each citizen. Abortion isn’t even considered an issue by these politicians and voting on assisted dying will be the same. There’s no thought that this person will pass through the door of death and enter what is known as “eternity”. Eternity is where the Creator of this world abides; Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity…
These politicians do not understand that death is an enemy and not a friend; 1Corithians 15:26.
In the end as a Bible believing Christian I say with John the Apostle, Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
