James Parker was a gay rights’ activist. He now facilitates True Identity, an informal network that supports those struggling with sexuality & gender identity issues. James is passionate about the godly restoration of men and women. James compares the methods used by pedophiles to groom children with the similar methods used by tyrannical governments to make the population compliant slaves.

For wind industry spin-kings, one pesky problem that won’t go away is the routine and catastrophic collapses of their 300 tonne whirling wonders.

We’re repeatedly told that rural communities just can’t wait to have hundreds of these things speared into their backyards. Except, of course, if those backyards belong to former Greens leaders, like Dr Bob Brown.

Throwing their blades to the four winds, spontaneously combusting and collapsing in catastrophic fashion, over the last few years, there have been hundreds of ‘structural failures’ – where either 10-15 tonne blades are shredded or flung in all directions; or their 90-100m towers implode, unceremoniously delivering the 80-100 tonne nacelle to terra firma, with terrifying effect.

Here are a couple more examples of how gravity continues to conspire against the ‘inevitable’ transition.

For renewable energy rent-seekers, the path to net-zero CO2 emissions targets is lined with endless taxpayers’ gold. These boys don’t get out of bed unless the subsidies are huge and guaranteed to last in perpetuity.

So, it comes as no surprise that the true cost of net-zero carbon dioxide gas emissions targets is out of this world.

Remember this is the same crowd that tells us that wind and solar power are already ‘free’ and getting cheaper all the time, and will easily replace conventional generators with the addition of a few mega-scale lithium-ion batteries. Accordingly, the fact that their numbers are a little rubbery, shouldn’t surprise.

As Benny Peiser points out below, the political pitch for Britain’s net-zero target is based on truly heroic assumptions about the cost of reaching it.

Elon Musk, who is now spending his time urging the U.S. to increase oil and gas production despite selling electric vehicles, wants you to believe that he is putting his financial interests and environmental ambitions aside in a goodhearted effort to protect America’s national security interests. However, the truth is that today’s heavily subsidized electric vehicles are often built with parts sourced from Russia and that they are not as environmentally friendly as Musk would like you to believe.

Musk promised a $25,000 electric car. Instead, he just raised the price of his electric car — the $44,990 to start Model 3 — by almost 20 percent, in part to compensate for the increased costs of certain raw materials needed to make electric car batteries, such as nickel, palladium and aluminum.

Over the past week, several Republican senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee may have stumped viewers by mentioning something called Arabella Advisors during a televised Supreme Court confirmation hearing.

Take the line of questioning used by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on the second day of the hearing for the nominee, D.C. Circuit Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Graham asked Jackson: “What is it about your nomination that the most liberal people under the umbrella of Arabella threw in their money, their time, their support and threatened [President] Joe Biden if he picked Childs?”

The South Carolina Republican’s reference was to U.S. District Judge Michelle Childs, considered to be less liberal than Jackson.

Presidential candidate Joe Biden repeatedly promised to end fossil fuels in America. There’ll be “no more drilling, including offshore,” he said. “No ability for the oil industry to drill. No more pipelines.”

Shortly after reaching the White House, President Biden ended Keystone XL pipeline construction and began working with congressional Democrats, regulators and eco-activists to impose leasing and drilling moratoriums, slow-walk permits, pressure financial institutions to deny funding to fossil fuel companies, and implement “social cost of carbon” rules, “environmental justice” programs, “windfall profit” taxes and other policies to close down or bankrupt fossil fuel projects and companies.

His Securities and Exchange Commission says companies must “disclose risks” from alleged “manmade climate change” – from their own production, refining and manufacturing operations; from suppliers and customers using their products; and from government anti-carbon policies.

On the third day of Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Senate confirmation hearing to serve on the Supreme Court, the judge faced more questions about her rulings in child pornography cases as well as the First Amendment and other matters.

On Feb. 25, President Joe Biden nominated Jackson, a judge on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals since June who previously sat on the D.C. District Court, to succeed Justice Stephen Breyer on the high court.
