Facebook reportedly has a specific set of elite users who don’t have to follow the same censorship rules applied to average users.

There’s a club of elites who don’t have to follow the same rules, and Facebook has reportedly hidden it until now. “A program known as XCheck has given millions of celebrities, politicians and other high-profile users special treatment, a privilege many abuse” reported The Wall Street Journal on Monday. The Journal suggested that XCheck “was initially intended as a quality-control measure for actions taken against high-profile accounts, including celebrities, politicians and journalists.” In practice, however, it reportedly “shields millions of VIP users from the company’s normal enforcement process.”

The report described some users as being “whitelisted” or “rendered immune from enforcement actions—while others are allowed to post rule-violating material pending Facebook employee reviews that often never come.”

Five countries: the US, Brazil, Mexico, India and Peru (Peru???) account for over 45% of the global C-19 cases and deaths.

That does not impress me as a GLOBAL pandemic.

Seems these five have some kind of special talent the rest of the world does not.

Maybe keeping the elderly long past their due date in crappy health care systems.

Japan has the highest global percentage of 65+ yet only 16,690 deaths.

The US

89% of the C-19 CASES are among those UNDER 65 years of age.

75% of the C-19 DEATHS are among those over 65 years of age, 17% of the population. Over HALF of C-19 DEATHS are among those OVER 75 years of age with only 7% of the population!

Under 18 years of age account for over 45% of the cases, but only 0.8% of the deaths!!!!! Sure looks like…

Crony capitalism is the new ‘Green’: every politician plugging wind and solar will eventually be caught pocketing cash for his time and trouble.

Sure, there’s an ostensible sense of virtue when an MP propounds renewables as a solution to all the world’s perceived ills. But it doesn’t take much digging to work out precisely why these characters are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

Subsidised wind and solar are, without doubt, the greatest economic and environmental fraud, of all time. So only a fool wouldn’t be in on it, right?

The model that has wrecked once affordable and reliable power supplies around the world, is on clear and present display in Australia. Same policies; same result: unaffordable and unreliable power supplies.

The debacle has forced the wind and solar acolytes that people the so-called ‘Energy Security Board’ to start sending taxpayers’ cash in the direction of coal-fired power plant…

It is less than 60 days until COP26 convenes in Glasgow. We can expect a flood of climate horror stories (including flooding). But there will also be some discussion of the actual issues, so here is a brief breakdown of the big four.

Keep in mind that the alarmists have a bit of a civil war going on, between what I call the moderates and the radicals. The moderates have been at it for over 30 years and the radicals are fed up. The moderates now have a net zero target of 2050, while the radicals want 2030, so the difference is pretty stark. The last two COPs were partly paralyzed by this split, especially COP25. This fight will be a major factor in Glasgow.

With abundant supplies of coal, gas and uranium Australia ought to be renowned as an energy superpower. It isn’t. In less than 20 years it deliberately destroyed the most reliable and affordable power generation and delivery system, on earth.

It started with subsidies; massive subsidies to wind and solar – both domestic and large-scale – delivered via our rocketing retail power bills under the Federal Government’s Renewable Energy Target; that’s costing power consumers more than $4 billion a year.

Those subsidies were designed to force the grid manager to take wind and solar (on those occasions when it is actually available) over and above reliable, dispatchable coal and gas-fired power.

No single policy has ever done more damage to Australia’s economic competitiveness; no single policy has ever allowed a handful of rent-seekers to profit so handsomely at the expense of Australia’s productive industries, business and jobs.

Has Newsweek lost its mind? The outlet published an insane article giving the Taliban praise for promising to fight “terror” and “climate change” in order to gain legitimacy in world politics.

The magazine’s headline read like a Babylon Bee joke: “Seeking World Recognition, Taliban Vows to Help Fight Terror and Climate Change.”

Newsweek Senior Writer of Foreign Policy Tom O’Connor pushed how Taliban Cultural Commission member Abdul Qahar Balkhi“told Newsweek that his group sought worldwide recognition of the Islamic Emirate.” Balkhi propagandized to the outlet how the organization’s drive for “recognition” would be bolstered in part by the terror group’s commitment to “fight terror” and so-called climate change. “‘We hope not only to be recognized by regional countries but the entire world at large as the legitimate representative government of the people of Afghanistan,’” Balkhi said in part, according to Newsweek.
