Activists reportedly bullied Facebook into discriminating against white people and men.

At the same time, the platform is selectively protecting certain groups of minorities, a Washington Post story indicated.

Activists infamously pushed the idea there is no such thing as racism against white people, but now, there appears to be no such thing as hate speech against white people, either. The Washington Post scorched Facebook for past moderation practices in a Nov. 21 blog, “Facebook’s race-blind practices around hate speech came at the expense of Black users, new documents show.” Deep into the article, however, The Post revealed that liberal groups successfully bullied Facebook into explicitly favoring black users, because anti-white hatred is apparently less harmful. Nations have spent hundreds of billions of dollars hoping to replace coal and natural gas to no avail. Australians and Germans have suffered from the government’s decisions the most. They now have sky-high energy costs and frequent blackouts. Both are returning to coal with as little fanfare as possible.

Why is this true? The answer is the little-known and less well-understood Ciccone/Lehr electric power Rule of Thumb which states, “All Solar and Wind Power on an Electric Grid Must Be Backed Up With an Equal or Greater Amount of Fossil Fuel Power Running on Standby 100% of The Time. Although, I will admit that Germany thinks they can manage with only 80% back up which one has to doubt as we have seen their electric costs triple.

When power generation and delivery was in the hands of engineers, coal and gas-fired plants ran efficiently and costs were low. Now that ideology reigns instead, and lunatics are firmly in charge of the asylum, the efficient running and operation of power plants is a thing of the past.

When anyone challenges the alarmist claims of “climate catastrophe” or “anthropogenic global warming” (s)he is often met with the banal accusation of “not being a climate scientist.”  Not surprisingly, it has proved impossible to locate that mythical “climate scientist” who has equal expertise in oceanography, atmospheric physics, meteorology, astronomy, paleoclimate, hydrology, volcanism, geology, solar physics, climate history and other climate-related disciplines.

Life in the frozen North was never meant to be easy – sub-zero temperatures and stark isolation are tough enough, but Sami reindeer herders have drawn the line at the adverse effect the visual and auditory cacophony these things generate has on their livestock.

Giant 260m turbines with 60m blades generate shadow flicker and pulsing, thumping low-frequency noise – a well-known source of disturbance for grazing (and other) animals; reindeer apparently no exception.

For centuries, the nomadic Sami have herded their reindeer across northern Europe’s frozen tundra, ranging across the north of Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Kola Peninsula. And have done so untouched by industry and urbanization. Until now.

Over the last decade or so, hundreds of these things have been speared across their grazing rangelands.

A hugely funny thing happened on the outskirts of COP 26. The press seems to have missed this huge news, but the Paris Accord’s goal of keeping global warming below 2 degrees has now been met. Well okay, it has just been promised by politicians. But if you take political promises seriously, as they do in COP-world, the end is here.

Specifically, several independent green analyses find that the various commitments made at COP 26 would limit global warming to just 1.8 or so degrees. The Paris target is “less than 2 degrees” so there you have it. Target met!

Where are the green headlines screaming “Planet saved”? Where are the green marches of celebration instead of protest?

The funny part is that this paper success raises big problems for the climate activist movement. All that remains is to makes sure the promises are kept…

President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for private employers often is described as requiring employees of large companies either to be vaccinated or be tested weekly.

But when you dig into the details, the mandate is far more invasive than that.

Nonvaccinated employees must wear masks, even if they are being tested weekly. Employers must maintain records of employees’ vaccination status.
