The New York Times sounded a little giddy on the front page of its Business section April 21 with the headline “Obama Joins Fight to Curb Online Lies.” This spin strongly suggests Obama never lies. He’s a valiant warrior against lies.
That came after a badly disguised press release at CNN.com on Obama “urgently throwing himself into the fight against disinformation.” As usual, they make it sound like a superhero has landed when he arrives on the scene.
Never mind PolitiFact giving Obama the “Lie of the Year” in 2013 for “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.” Never mind Obama’s bald-faced lies in 2012 that the Benghazi consulate attack wasn’t a terrorist thing, it was a protest of an Islamophobic YouTube video that got out of hand. As if the Islamic radicals brought grenade-launchers to a “protest.”

“There’s nothing conservative by throwing Disney out … over saying ‘gay.’”
President Biden went to the Left Coast yesterday for a fundraiser in Portland, Oregon. Incredibly, a recent poll found his approval rating had fallen to 35% in Oregon, a state he won by 16 points.
While speaking to donors, Biden attacked Florida Republicans, saying, “There’s nothing conservative by throwing Disney out … over saying ‘gay.’” There he goes again. Biden repeated an even more distorted version of what’s actually happening in Florida.
This has been the lie told from Day One of this controversy. Because it has been repeated countless times by the “fake news media,” we must repeat the truth.
The Florida law prohibits teachers, counselors and other school officials from talking to children in kindergarten through third grade about gender fluidity, sexual orientation or similar matters. Beyond the third grade, the law calls…

The Left and Twitter must be the same.

Twitter announced on Earth Day that decided to remove any ads on the platform that contain so-called “misinformation” about climate change.
The Washington Postreported that the platform said the removed ads “contradict the scientific consensus on climate change.”
“We recognize that misleading information about climate change can undermine efforts to protect the planet,” Twitter said of the decision. “In the coming months, we’ll have more to share on our work to add reliable, authoritative context to the climate conversations happening on Twitter.”
The new policy only applies to monetized ads.
Twitter is not the only social media platform to take action against climate change “deniers.”
Pinterest announced earlier in the month that it would remove content and ads that contained “misinformation” about climate change. Sarah Bromma, Pinterest’s Head of Policy, said of the decision:

As Earth Day came and went, the New York Times still insists the Democrats can ride to victory on the issue of climate change – or at least the party is doomed if it doesn’t embrace extreme measures touted by…a high school student?
That was environmental reporter Lisa Friedman’s spin in Saturday’s edition, “Frustrated by Inaction, Climate Activists Plan Rallies Across Country.” Friedman warned that pollution was “dangerously heating the planet” and made other frightening, confident, unsubstantiated assertions to try and turn environmental extremism into a winning issue for Democrats.
Joe Biden was not Vincent Vertuccio’s first choice for president. But as a high school student on Long Island, Mr. Vertuccio organized hundreds of young people to help elect him, driven by a single issue: climate change.
