Residents of a quiet, rural North Carolina community are about to be yanked into the zero-emissions automotive future.
Saying they are on a “tight schedule,” North Carolina officials have announced they will use eminent domain to buy and destroy 27 homes and five businesses, and will move a Baptist church to clear a path for Vietnamese EV startup manufacturer VinFast to build an automotive assembly and battery manufacturing plant in Chatham County.
Residents of Moncure and Merry Oaks find themselves in the crosshairs of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). In mid-August, NCDOT produced large maps showing the network of roads and highway interchanges that will have to undergo changes to improve access to the 2,150-acre Triangle Innovation mega-site where the EV plant will be located. Homes and businesses in the new right-of-way will have to go.

Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Director (CISA) Jen Easterly is reportedly upset that “Big Tech” social media platforms don’t censor enough.
Her alleged comments were discovered in the discovery phase of a lawsuit that seems to grow more contentious by the day.
Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, and the New Civil Liberties Alliance filed a lawsuit earlier in the year against President Biden and several administration officials for allegedly colluding with social media platforms to censor critical content.
Just the News reported on Thursday that the comments allegedly made by Jen Easterly seemed to confirm the plaintiffs’ allegations.
Easterly’s reported texts with another CISA official show that “federal officials are fully aware” that they need to exert “maximal pressure,” preferably from the White House, to get social media companies to expand censorship, according to the plaintiffs’ position section.
Easterly reportedly discussed…

China doesn’t have to fire a shot to take over the West!

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has issued a new rule, which if approved, will send America on a fast track to dependence upon Beijing for critical materials needed to build and power all new automobiles sold in the state by 2035, whether you want and can afford them or not.
Be advised to take this agenda very seriously.
Unlike national regulatory mandates which fall under the purview of the US Congress subject to state elections, California—America’s largest auto market—has enormous economic clout over the auto industry regardless which party controls the federal government.
State officials say about 16% of cars sold in California today are electric, up from 12.4% last year.
If about a dozen other uber-liberal states follow their lead, California’s restrictions would apply to about a third of all vehicles sold in 2035.
In addition, the proposed CARB…

Biden, bringing Americans together!
By P.J. Gladnick ~
As a reflection of just how poorly Joe Biden’s dark speech in Philadelphia on Thursday about what he labeled as MAGA extremism was received, even a number of liberals criticized it.
Among those who panned Biden’s speech was Washington Post columnist James Hohmann who is usually reliably liberal. However, in an analysis immediately following Biden’s speech, Hohmann was strongly critical about what he heard and saw.
It was a mish-mash. It was two different speeches merged into one. It sounded strident. It sounded quite partisan including the “Vote! Vote! Vote!” there. It was not what the White House previewed in that respect. And I think part of it is that those hecklers and protestors got into the President’s head. He was angry. He was yelling. The lighting in the backdrop was bad. I think what happened is that the White House advance team had the American flag…
