Throughout the pandemic we heard about gain of function. It’s puzzling how government could be involved in such sinister activity. Claiming it was beneficiary, as Fauci did, only added more questions and more skepticism about government’s motives — or rotten ignorance, take your pick.

Now, however, the border is the biggest crisis with the most immediate impact and damage. It only slowed a little during the pandemic. But now it is off historic charts and, like inflation did to gas prices, has shattered any past records.

So where is the common denominator? The border seems to be operating like a gain of function program. Let’s just see how bad we, the American government, can make it. Let’s get it to the worst possible scenario so we can figure out how to react to it, treat it, or not. And let’s see how we can use it for some political gain…

What did he mean by that? Only his hairdresser knows.

Was he insinuating he married a girl whose family is genetically connected to the Italian mob? Does that make him a made-man by marriage? Does it mean our First Lady has connections to Italians and the mob? Is he romancing Italian mob family stereotypes?

Actually, it was Jill’s grandfather who was connected to that name, not Jill’s father. So he even has his family tree screwed up.

Wind power outfits can’t guarantee power when you need it, but their turbines rarely miss an opportunity to slaughter birds or bats silly enough to enter their bloody kill zone.

The wind power cult has no difficulty in justifying the destruction of pristine landscapes; the dismemberment of once cohesive, rural communities; the creation of toxic waste lands in China (where the rare earths essential to wind turbines are processed); power prices that punish the poorest and most vulnerable in society; and barely blink at the pointless slaughter of millions upon millions of birds and bats, across the globe.

A German study has exposed the fact that the number of bats belted into oblivion by these things is magnitudes greater than originally estimated by wind industry-controlled surveys. The report suggests that Germany’s 30,000 turbines are wiping out more than 200,000 bats each year, which means the global total…

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) noted Friday on Fox News that the FBI had a task force of 80 agents to moderate social media.

Journalist Matt Taibbi reported on Friday that the FBI exchanged more than 150 emails with former Twitter Head of Trust and Safety Yoel Roth between January 2020 and November 2022. Many of the emails reflect intentional suppression of stories reporting the 2020 Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

Speaking with host Sean Hannity, Comer said: “[T]his is serious and this is going to be a top priority for Republicans on the [House] Oversight Committee.”

He added that he initially only suspected a ”rogue FBI employee or two” and was stunned to discover the FBI used 80 agents to monitor the tweets of American citizens.

Leftist MSNBC host Chris Hayes had an absolute conniption over Twitter owner Elon Musk not tolerating journalists sharing his real-time flight location on the platform.

Hayes went on a rant against Musk’s changes to Twitter on the December 16 edition of All in with Chris Hayes. He spewed that Musk was a “power mad billionaire attempt[ing] to coerce and capture the American discourse.” He argued that Musk’s suspension of journalists that shared information “doxxing” him and his children was somehow authoritarian.

“You cannot trust anyone with absolute power, in any domain,” Hayes flailed. “No matter if it is the U.S. presidency, a social media enterprise, a cable news show, a condo board association, even a pillow company. Left unchecked, they will drive it into the ground.”
