What’s a trillion here or there when WE ARE SAVING THE EARTH!!!!
By David Wojick, Ph.D. ~
The amount of storage needed to make renewables reliable is so huge that even if the cost dropped fantastically we still could not afford it.
We now know that the battery storage for the entire American grid is impossibly expensive, thanks to a breakthrough study by engineer Ken Gregory. Looking at several recent years he analyzed, on an hour by hour basis, the electricity produced with fossil fuels. He then calculated what it would have taken in the way of storage to produce the same energy using wind and solar power. He did this by scaling up those year’s actual wind and solar production.
Based on his work, which only covered 48 states, our round working estimate of the required storage for the whole country is an amazing 250 million MWh. America today has less than 20 thousand MWh of grid scale battery storage, which…

What is the difference between these people and Hitler?
By Joseph Vazquez ~
Bloomberg News co-founder Matthew Winkler barked that corporate America outperforms where pre-born baby slaughter is defended. Talk about being chronically tone-deaf.
Winkler’s Dec. 14 op-ed didn’t beat around the bush with his nutty take: “Corporate America Thrives Where Abortion Is Protected.” Winkler apparently didn’t figure out that correlation doesn’t equal causation, a relevant rule of thumb he should have heeded before propagating senseless economic theories.
“The US economy already is suffering the economic consequences in states that have criminalized abortion,” Winkler railed in a diatribe castigating the ripple effects of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the infamous pro-abortion Roe v. Wade ruling.
Winkler’s drivel was dedicated to propping up the pro-abortion rambling of U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, who railed how she doesn’t “‘know why any woman would want to live in a state that criminalizes full access to health care.’”
Winkler…

Spreading millions of solar panels and spearing thousands of wind turbines far and wide doesn’t make sense, at any level.
Intermittent and diffuse energy sources do not represent progress in the state of human affairs; that was the way of the world pre-Industrial Revolution – science, enterprise and engineering made all that a part of our miserable history.
True it is that the developing world has a way to go, but finance and meddling climate cult elites aside, the path has already been laid out and is well trodden.
At the heart of the wind and sun cult’s bleating about saving the planet is the myth that wind and solar power are actually good for the planet and the environment that we live in.
Unfortunately for the myth makers, the evidence all runs in the other direction.
Viv Forbes explains precisely what we mean. On the ball, as usual, Viv…
