The Moyne Shire Council has decided to write to the state government asking for $50,000, three years after the money was offered.
The sum was proposed as a grant to four Victorian councils, including Moyne Shire, in 2019 by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, to cover the cost of independent noise testing on controversial wind farms.
Moyne was offered the grant to organise testing at the Macarthur Wind Farm, which had attracted a large number of complaints since it started operating.

What’s new? If another Democrat wins (cheats and gets in) the next time it will not just be China’s balloons flying over!
By James Carafano ~
In the wake of China admitting today that a large surveillance balloon flying over the U.S. was its own, critical questions arise.
What is China surveilling? How invasive is this? Is this an act of aggression? Should we believe China when it says it was an accident?
The Biden administration has no clue how to handle the China threat, including the spy balloon that blew over the U.S. It appears about as competent securing our airspace as it does securing our border. The New York Times was going all-out with its gas-stove “eliminationist rhetoric,” (to coin a phrase) putting this snotty headline over a front-page story Monday: “Gas Stoves Are Just Fine, Claims the Scientist Paid to Say So.”
The story was written by investigative climate desk reporter Hiroko Tabuchi, who has shown herself hypersensitive to the supposed corporate and even “white supremacist” corruption of scientific research, while ignoring all conflicts of interest on the left-wing, environmental side of the issue.
She’s uncovered a dissenter from the narrative and was trying to wreck her credibility by raising questions of funding or conflict of interest — questions that never get applied to environmental organizations that could make a profit off of environmental regulations.
When Multnomah County in Oregon convened a recent public hearing on the health hazards posed by pollution from gas stoves, a toxicologist named…

Representatives heard testimony from several witnesses, including Brandon Dunn, co-founder of the Forever 15 Project; Dale Lynn Carruthers, county judge of Terrell County, Texas; and Mark Dannels, sheriff of Cochise County, Arizona.
The number of undocumented immigrant crossings at the southwest border for the fiscal year 2022 topped 2.76 million, topping the previous annual record by more than 1 million, Customs and Border Protection data revealed.
The Drug Enforcement Administration seized record amounts of illegal fentanyl in 2022, a news release said. More than 100,000 people died from fentanyl overdoses in a…
