Prosperity for India and China but poverty for Australia!!!!! Thank you Mr. Bowen!!
Demonising coal-fired power is a sport played by smug, well-fed Westerners – who’ve never lived a day without power, in their cosseted lives.
For the poorest energy-starved billions, a day with affordable power is a dream worth fighting for. The West’s prosperity was won with coal, a fact seemingly recognised by wind and solar-obsessed Brits and Germans, as they fire up the coal-fired plants that they had only recently deemed redundant.
Those same plants are central to the growth in prosperity among Asian economies, not least India.
With a population of 1.3 billion – and hundreds of millions of those screaming out for reliable and affordable electricity – which promises to lift them out of grinding agrarian poverty – India’s government is on a perfectly pragmatic path. Shunning intermittent and chaotic wind and solar, in the knowledge that the only way to deliver power 24/7, at a price that their…

He hasn’t had any good idea for over fifty years!!!!
By Ronald Stein ~
President Joe Biden continues his pursuit of the generation of electricity from wind turbines and solar panels while simultaneously moving to rid the world of fossil fuels. He has a short memory of petrochemical products and human ingenuity being the reasons for the world populating from 1 to 8 billion in less than two hundred years. America now represents a mere 4 percent of the world’s population.
The world’s population explosion was not just based on the discovery of oil alone a couple of hundred years ago. We have learned that crude oil is useless unless it can be manufactured into something usable. The 8 billion now on this planet are dependent on the oil derivatives and fuels that are manufactured from crude oil.
Today, the societies and economies within the diverse 8 billion people, are now dependent on more than 6,000 products in their…

It’s funny when The New York Times comes under fire among liberals for saying something critical about Kamala Harris. A front-page story on February 6 was headlined “Frustrated Harris Struggles to Define Her Role.” This somehow required three reporters – Zolan Kanno-Youngs, Katie Rogers, and Peter Baker.
The passage that spurred all the fits came inside the paper, of course, on page A-13. It wasn’t hostile fire from Republicans. It was internal: “[T]he painful reality for Ms. Harris is that in private conversations over the last few months, dozens of Democrats in the White House, on Capitol Hill and around the nation — including some who helped put her on the party’s 2020 ticket — said she had not risen to the challenge of proving herself as a future leader of the party, much less the country.”
But wait, the next sentence was even worse: “Even…

Perhaps the climate scammers think this is mercy killing!!!!
Hundreds of whales are being killed by the offshore wind industry, and it’s been given a license to do so, with complete impunity. Let’s call it a ‘green light’ for industrial murder.
Offshore outfits along the US Atlantic coast have clocked up something like 178 whale fatalities since construction began and their turbines first started operating back in 2016.
Among the casualties are Humpbacks, Sperm whales and the rare and endangered North Atlantic Right whale.
The whales are being deafened during the construction process, thanks to underwater sonar blasting, and the constant low-frequency noise and vibration these things generate during operation interfere with their (sonar-dependent) navigational ability.
But, as it did with rare and endangered Eagles, the wind industry has been literally granted a license to kill.
In the case of whales, they’re called an ‘Incidental Harassment Authorisation’ – an innocuous-sounding euphemism, which cleverly varnishes over the fact that the…
