In 2019, candidate Joe Biden pledged to voters that, if elected president, “We’re going to end fossil fuel.” Since taking office, he has worked ceaselessly with the radical environmentalists who call the shots and set the agenda to make good on his campaign promise by waging an all-out war against the production, distribution, and use of fossil fuels.

The Biden administration immediately cancelled the Keystone pipeline and then blocked other pipeline projects. It has drastically curtailed the issuance of leases and permits needed to develop fossil resources on public lands and offshore. It has denied applications to expand refinery capacity. And it has issued unattainable carbon dioxide emission limitations designed to force the closure of hundreds of fossil-fueled electric power plants currently in operation.
The Biden administration and its political allies in state and local governments have launched a…

These climate scammers are NUTS!!!
The twisted logic of the wind and solar ‘transition’ means the only way of preventing blackouts is to force users to stop using electricity.
Australia’s Federal government is paying energy-hungry businesses (using taxpayer’s money, obviously) to stop producing whatever it is that they produce so they do not use electricity. Because that’s the only way the powers that be can secure the power that isn’t.
Total solar output collapses are thoroughly predictable. It’s called ‘sunset’.
Predicting total wind power output collapses simply means predicting periods of calm weather.
Juggling power demand around the weather is always tricky and a little like a game of musical chairs, where each round results in somebody missing out altogether.
The Brits have come up with their own farcical solution, as Paul Homewood reports below.
Grid asks factories to use less energy next winter under blackout prevention plan

Is the Republic done?

A bill from Senate Democrats to be marked up in committee Thursday would destroy the independence of the Supreme Court, a group of Republican senators said at a Wednesday press conference.
With Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, looking on, Senate Judiciary Committee ranking member Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., gestures to a visual aid during a news conference at the Capitol on Wednesday at which he lambasted a Democratic bill supposedly aimed at “fixing” the Supreme Court. Six GOP lawmakers on the Senate Judiciary Committee spoke about how the Supreme Court “ethics” bill drawn up by Democrats on their committee would be toxic to the country.
The Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act was authored by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I. On top of imposing many additional financial disclosure requirements for Supreme Court justices, it would allow any individual to file unlimited complaints…

How in the world could the Marxist Left Politicize the Weather more than are already?!
By Joseph Vazquez ~
The New York Times’ blowhard economics writer Paul Krugman apparently didn’t sense the stupidity in pontificating to readers about the supposed need to “politicize” the weather. Yes, you read that right.

Krugman took a pit stop from his usual Keynesian blather on economics to go on another ridiculous climate change rant in a July 17 op-ed headlined, “Why We Should Politicize the Weather.” The self-aggrandizing economist kicked up a stink over Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis’ recent statement that he “‘always rejected the politicization of the weather.’” But in Krugman’s pseudo-intellectual worldview, “we absolutely should politicize the weather.” In fact, he proclaimed with gusto, “weather is a political issue. And Americans should be aware that it’s one of the most important issues they’ll be voting on next November.” Cue the canned laughter.
Krugman’s ad nauseum whining about the leftist climate change boogeyman is even more comical…
