Genesis 1:21a “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind….”
‘According to evolution theory, there were no four-limbed creatures living on land until 360 million years ago. That is supposedly when Lungfish appear in the fossil record. Lungfish can breathe air, have four fins arranged rather like legs and can even climb trees. Long ago, evolutionists declared that all four-limbed creatures that live on land, including man, evolved from the Lungfish.
As we look at the variety of land-living creatures, evolutionists are here claiming a great deal of change from our lowly Lungfish ancestry. It is interesting, however, that the Lungfishes themselves have changed very little in the supposed 360 million years of their existence. Lungfish hatchlings today have small teeth, which, as they grow to adulthood, fuse into a bony dental plate. In this adult plate, the individual teeth are fused to one another. There are thousands of well-preserved fossils of both hatchlings and adult Lungfish that supposedly lived 360 million years ago. A study of these fossils shows that even the dental development of Lungfish has not changed since the first Lungfish appeared among the fossils.
White supremacy, hatred and loathing of other human beings is part and parcel of the hellish evolutionary belief system. In Part Two of Evolution = Racism it was ‘…reported in July 2020, The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS, which runs the zoo) said:
“We deeply regret that many people and generations have been hurt by these actions or by our failure previously to publicly condemn and denounce them,” WCS President and CEO Cristián Samper wrote. “We recognize that overt and systemic racism persists, and our institution must play a greater role to confront it.”
But was it really racism?
At the time of writing, the Black Lives Matter movement has gained widespread traction around the world. Statues of colonialists and slavery advocates are being removed or defaced, and similar apologies abound at all levels. However, although one might claim that actions of slavery advocates were racist and/or prejudiced against other humans (slavery existed in many non-white cultures too), it was undoubtedly evolutionary beliefs that led to the humiliation of this young man. Most scientists of the day had uniformly accepted Darwin’s theory of evolution, and the popular idea that humans had evolved from ape-like creatures. Indeed, the display in the monkey house where Ota Benga was exhibited was called ‘Ancient Ancestors of Man’.
The apology misses the mark, completely
As part of its mission to be more transparent, WCS is making all records and archives related to Benga publicly available.
While being politically correct and being swept up in a cultural tide, they are actually failing to be transparent. Although the zoo apologized for this racist action, nowhere in the zoo’s apologies or statements do they mention the real reason Ota Benga was put on display. It was a belief in evolution, as clearly stated by the main players of the day themselves. All five owners associated with Ota Benga—Samuel Verner, William McGee, William Hornaday, Henry Osborn, and Madison Grant—were well-known evolutionists of their day.
The climate of the day
Note this popular reconstruction of Homo erectus dark skin (current at the time of writing).
In CMI’s groundbreaking documentary The Voyage that Shook the World, we interviewed Darwin historian, Peter Bowler, in Charles Darwin’s old Cambridge office. Bowler, although an evolutionist himself, noted about Darwin:
That by the time he writes The Descent of Man in 1871 it’s pretty clear that he, by that time, shares the growing suspicion or conviction of many Europeans. The non-white races simply do not have the capacity to be elevated properly into civilised human beings; that they are mentally and morally at a more limited level. In a sense they are stuck at an early stage in the biological evolution of the human species.
So their way of life may offer us a so fossilised relic of what our own ancestors lived like in the distant prehistoric past. But now Darwin and many of his contemporaries are beginning to realise that what they needed to claim that they are biologically relics of the past. They are in fact equivalent to earlier stages in the ascent from the apes who have been preserved in isolated locations, preserved with those earlier levels of mental and moral development. [sic]
Note the following timeline prior to Ota Benga’s humiliation:
1833: British Empire abolished slavery.
1859: Darwin wrote On the Origin of Species (26 years after abolition of slavery).
1865: The Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery in USA.
1871: Darwin wrote The Descent of Man (38 years after abolition in UK and 6 years after USA).
Slavery had been outlawed for more than forty years by the time of Ota Benga’s 1906’s misadventure. In other words, Ota Benga’s humiliation had very little to do with slavery.
The aforementioned Verner (Ota Benga’s captor) was also an academic. Darwin’s views intrigued him when he wrote:
Famous anthropologist adorns the cover of Time with a ‘black man’ wearing a mask of Homo habilis.
Are they men, or the highest apes? Who and what were their ancestors? What are their ethnic relations to the other races of men? Have they degenerated from larger men, or are the larger men a development of Pygmy forefathers? These questions arise naturally, and plunge the inquirer at once into the depths of the most heated scientific discussions of this generation. ‘Pygmies present a case of unmodified structure from the beginning [a view which is] … against both evolution and degeneracy. It is true that these little people have apparently preserved an unchanged physical entity for five thousand years. But that only carries the question back into the debated ground of the origin of species.
Authors Bradford (Verner’s grandson) and Plume cited some of the visitor’s questions to Ota Benga’s display.
Was he a man or monkey? Was he something in between? “Ist das ein Mensch?” asked a German spectator. “Is it a man?” … No one really mistook apes or parrots for human beings. This—it—came so much closer. Was it a man? Was it a monkey? Was it a forgotten stage of evolution?
Clearly, the display was not lost on the public of the day. It was Darwin’s views that caused this small man to be viewed as an evolutionary ‘throwback’.
But, notably, nowhere around the world do we see Darwin’s statue being removed for his offensive ideas that the non-white races were lower on the evolutionary scale.
In fact, many of the racist taunts still being used today have their roots in Darwinian ideology or the idea that black people are ‘closer to the apes’ on the evolutionary scale. For example, see our articles Do monkeys play football? and Ape’ slur against Australian indigenous footballer. Is it any wonder when we still see displays and photos in evolutionary textbooks such as the ones pictured above?
Not the only example
We’ve also previously reported about the killing and removal of various ethnic groups around the world due to evolutionary beliefs. For example, in Australia we cited reports that perhaps the bodies of 10,000 Aboriginal people were shipped to British museums.10
‘US evolutionists were also strongly involved in this flourishing ’industry‘ of gathering specimens of ’subhumans‘. The Smithsonian Institution in Washington holds the remains of 15,000 individuals of various races. And then in April 2019, The State Ethnographic Collections department and the Martin Luther University in Germany, decided to return the bones of 53 Aboriginal people to the Yawuru indigenous group from Western Australia.
The BBC reported:
Aboriginal remains being returned at a ceremony in Germany.
Skulls and bones of Aboriginal Australians were removed by researchers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and put on show in museums around the world. However, they were displaced by settlers two centuries ago and thousands were killed. For more than 150 years, their remains were removed and sent to museums, universities and private collections in Australia and elsewhere.
But note, never once did the German institutions or the BBC mention the evolutionary reasons for their removal of these bodies from their homeland, except the evolutionary timeline invoked with it:
Australia’s native Aboriginal population has occupied the country for about 50,000 years.
It also reported that:
Germany also has large holdings of African human remains. The country has previously repatriated remains to Namibia, where it killed tens of thousands of indigenous Herero and Nama people from 1904 to 1908.
Today, the remains of tens of thousands of ethnically diverse people remain in academic institutions around the world.
‘Fess up’, Bronx Zoo!
Will the Bronx Zoo and these institutions admit the real reasons for these atrocities? Will they provide a proper apology for the evolutionary teaching that these are sub-humans—mere beasts to be studied and displayed for the advancement of mankind? Sadly these ideas still permeate the evolutionary community literature/images. Racism will continue to rear its ugly head until the underlying root philosophy is addressed. As philosopher Santayana said, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
A lesson for the church also
As we’ve shown on this issue, the scientific consensus of evolution was an unstoppable juggernaut. I think of Christian missionaries who went to continents like Africa to preach the Gospel to people like Ota Benga and his kin. They did not have the DNA-science of today that confirms that all humanity is more than 99.99% percent similar. But they stood on God’s Word where it says, “And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place” (Acts 17:26). Evolutionists in Ota Benga’s day would insist that the ‘science’ was on their side, but they were wrong. Christians who are only too happy to embrace evolution should learn from these atrocities of history in the name of (evolutionary) ‘science’.’ https://creation.com/bronx-zoo-apologizes?utm_campaign=infobytes_au&utm_content=Bronx+Zoo+apologizes+for+putting+an+African+man+in+their+Monkey+House&utm_medium=email&utm_source=mailing.creation.com&utm_term=Fortnightly+Digest+-+2020.08.21
Evolution is a teaching from the pit of Hell! The theory of evolution is a fairy tale from Satan’s book on how to miss Heaven and go to Hell. The following is the first part of an article concerning evolutionary belief and ‘…the horrific and inhumane treatment of Ota Benga, a young African man who was taken from Congo in 1904 by noted African explorer and former slave trader Samuel Verner. Samuel Verner was known for his belief in evolution and for his support of white supremacist ideals. On his maiden voyage onboard the Roquelle from Antwerp to Congo, Verner was surprised that dark-skinned individuals were allowed to dine together with Caucasian shipmates. In a letter to his mother, he lamented that, “the helplessness of that race is simply appalling.” So from the very beginning of his journey to the West, Ota found himself strongly influenced by racist evolutionists.
Ota was first displayed as an ‘emblematic savage’ in the anthropology wing at the 1904 St Louis World’s Fair with other pygmies. He was eventually presented by Verner to the Bronx Zoo director, William Hornaday who came up with the idea of using Ota Benga to ‘educate’ the public about human evolution. At this time Ota Benga was just twenty-three years old. His height was only 1.5 metres (4 feet 11 eleven inches) and he only weighed 46.7 kg (103 lb). Ota Benga, which meant ‘friend’ in his native language, was often thought to be just a boy, but he was actually a twice-married father. His first wife and two children were murdered by white colonists, and his second spouse died from a poisonous snake bite.
Ota Benga became a sensation, drawing large crowds to the Zoo including over 40,000 on Sunday, 16 September 1906. Despite criticism, particularly from some church leaders at the time, Dr Hornaday insisted that he was merely offering an ‘intriguing exhibit’ for the public’s education and:
… apparently saw no difference between a wild beast and the little black man; [and] for the first time in any American zoo, a human being was displayed in a cage. Benga was given cage-mates to keep him company in his captivity—a parrot and an orang-utan named Dohong.
Nevertheless, Hornaday’s racist Darwinian ideas were clear elsewhere in his writings where he described Ota Benga as:
“… a genuine African pigmy, belonging to the subrace commonly miscalled ‘the Dwarfs.’”
The other co-founder of the Bronx Zoo was Henry Osborn. Henry Osborn was regarded as the leading evolutionist of his day, and is famed for the discovery of many dinosaurs, including the T. rex. Like Hornaday, Henry Osborn was highly racist as a result of his belief in evolution. For example, before Madison Grant (who was also influential in the founding of the Bronx Zoo) wrote his racist book, On the Passing of a Great Race, Grant shared his transcript with Osborn who made many suggestions. In the preface to the fourth edition Osborn wrote:
[I]n no other human stock which has come to this country is there displayed the unanimity of heart, mind and action which is now being displayed by the descendants of the blue-eyed, fair-haired peoples of the north of Europe. If I were asked: “What is the greatest danger which threatens the American republic to-day? I would certainly reply: The gradual dying out among our people of those hereditary traits through which the principles of our religious, political and social foundations were laid down and their insidious replacement by traits of less noble character.”
Grant’s book, as we know, was largely influential on Adolf Hitler. Hitler called the book, ‘his bible’ for it advocated a rigid system of selection through the elimination of those who are weak or unfit.
Australia is following the Marxist, Muslim, Leftist, Looney, Lovies, PC culture to its own destruction.
‘Do you detect any bias in this newspaper report?
“An elite Brisbane private school has bowed to pressure and dropped a sex-education book that suggests God hates homosexuals, gay people can “successfully” change to heterosexual, and people with ambiguous genitalia are “freaks”. Following Courier-Mail coverage that exposed the offensive book used in Year 10 religion classes at Moreton Bay Boys’ College and an angry backlash from parents, the school has confirmed the resource will be scrapped.” Queensland Courier Mail, August 4, 2020, Page 1.
Editorial Comment: Well it is true the Bible reports the Creator God does hate homosexuality, along with adultery, gluttony, thievery, etc, all in the same paragraph, (1 Corinthians 6:9). Therefore, would it be fair to say the Courier FeMale author of this report hates God’s Word?
Ever since same-sex marriage has been legalized in Australia (which doesn’t make it anymore right than before it was legalized) the LGBTQI crowd have been busy pushing their ungodly agenda. Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
While almost everyone in the Western world has heard the name George Floyd the name of Cannon Hinnant of Wilson, NC isn’t. Why? Perhaps because he was only five and white! ‘The 5-year-old boy who was shot to death outside his father’s home in Wilson, North Carolina has been laid to rest.
Witnesses told police that Cannon Hinnant was riding a bike when his father’s neighbor walked up to him and shot him in the head in front of his two sisters, ages 8 and 7.
Capt. Steve Stroud with the Wilson Police Department said officers and emergency personnel performed first aid before the boy was taken to Wilson Medical Center, where he died.

“They were just playing in the yard like any other day,” Austin Hinnant, Cannon’s father, told WRAL.
“The first thing that went through my mind was maybe he just fell off his bike,” Austin said after he heard gunshots. “The closer I got to him, the more I realized it was something far more serious.”

Police said 25-year-old Darius Nathaniel Sessoms was arrested Monday. He’s charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond.
Austin told the news station that Sessoms had been over to his home the day before, sat on his porch and drank beer, and they have lived next to each other for eight years.
“The Lord says to love our neighbor. I have plenty of food to go around. I just wanted to be nice,” Hinnant said. “There wasn’t anything between me and him, any bad blood whatsoever, for him to have a reason to do this.”
After Cannon was shot, Austin said he scooped him up into his arms and screamed.

“I screamed, ‘Somebody, please help me save my son! Help me save my son, please,'” he told WRAL. “[You] can’t imagine what it’s like to hold your son in your arms with a gunshot wound to the head, and his blood is running down your arms.”
Austin said he doesn’t know why Sessoms killed Cannon and police have not released any details as to a possible motive.
During Cannon’s funeral Thursday, his youth pastor and grandfather talked about his big smile and his even bigger heart.
“Cannon was the type of kid that was always polite kind of laid back but he was a beautiful little kid,” Merrill Race, his grandfather told WRAL. “I’m glad that people are showing up and coming out and show they got his back and they care, we need more of this and less of this hate.”
Family, friends, and pastors said they are trying to help lift up Cannon’s family as they wait for answers in Cannon’s death.
“The only thing I keep thinking of is a scripture that comes to my heart Psalm 34:18 that says God is close to the broken hearted,” said Bobby Harrell, the campus pastor of Wave Church in Wilson. “That’s what I want people to know when we are hurting God longs to be close to us.”

A candlelight vigil was set for Friday, but the family has postponed it.
Sessoms’ parents told WRAL they are deeply saddened about what happened and believe he was on drugs and having hallucinations.
Genesis 1:31 “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Prior to Darwin’s ideas being published, there were many people who believed in spontaneous generation. This idea teaches that life just appears from non-living material. There was always observational evidence for this. For example, dead meat will eventually “spontaneously generate” maggots. Eventually, more careful research showed that this was, in fact, due to fruit flies landing on the meat and laying eggs, which hatched out into maggots.
Those evolutionists who wish to ridicule the idea of spontaneous generation need to remember that they have to believe it happened at least once. A German university has recently tried to find a route for the development of DNA, but their suppositions raise far more questions than they answer. Their study says:
The process of biological evolution that has given rise to the diversity of life on our planet must have been preceded by a phase of chemical evolution. During this ‘prebiotic’ stage, the first polymeric molecules capable of storing information and reproducing themselves were randomly assembled from organic precursors that were available on the early Earth. The most efficient replicators subsequently evolved into the macromolecular informational nucleic acids – DNA and RNA – that became the basis for all forms of life on our planet.
‘“And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Genesis 9:11)
When God gave Noah this promise, the world had just been through the devastating cataclysm that flooded the entire globe and destroyed all except those on the Ark. The world was fearful and barren, and there seemed nothing to prevent another such flood from coming on the earth.
Nevertheless, God’s promise—not only to Noah but also to the animals (Genesis 9:9-10)—has been kept for over 4,000 years. God later reminded Job of this promise when He told him that He had “shut up the sea with doors.…And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed” (Job 38:8, 11). The psalmist also referred to this covenant. When the whole earth had been covered “with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains. At thy rebuke they fled.…Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth” (Psalm 104:6-7, 9).
God has kept His Word, and there has never been another worldwide flood. Sadly, however, many modern compromising Christian theologians and scientists have said that the Flood must have been only a local or regional flood in order (they hope) to please the evolutionists, practically all of whom insist that the earth is 4.6 billion years old and never had any global flood.
Genesis 8:22While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. “
‘Burning fuel for heat and cooking in developing countries could be harmful to health. In many cases, dwellings may not have chimneys. Add to this the fact that the scarcity of other fuels may result in people, for example, burning animal and human excrement, with health hazards resulting from the process.
Most developing countries would be in a position to establish electrical power grids, which would vastly improve health conditions. However, what fuel would be used to generate the electricity? Many developing countries have large coal reserves, which they would like to exploit in order to emulate the development of Western countries. Their development would be better than that of the west, given that pollutants released in coal burning, such as sulfur dioxide and nitrous oxides, are, today, easy to remove. So what prevents such countries from rapid development? The answer is global warming policies imposed by international bodies, such as the UN. Such bodies are fearful of the possible increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide and therefore apply restrictions on the development of coal-fired power plants. This prevents such countries from industrial development and leaves large numbers of people trapped in poverty. Yet, as we have previously discussed on Creation Moments, these regulations are based on false science, which has nevertheless become the accepted standard.
“Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.” (Isaiah 48:13)
‘The human hand is an anatomical marvel; nothing remotely comparable exists among the primates or any other animals. It is a marvel of design. But surely the “hand of God”—of which a human’s hand is only a very dim shadow—is infinitely more powerful and skillful.
Note the testimony of Isaiah 45:12: “I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.” God did not have to use intermediate processes or pre-existing materials. Everything was “commanded” into existence, and “I, even my hands,” made all of it, including humans. Creation was direct—a direct product of God’s mighty hands.
Not only was it direct, it was also immediate, as our text above makes emphatically plain. His hand laid the earth’s foundation and spanned the heavens. Then, “when I call unto them,” He says, “They stand up together!” Not one by one— first the universe, then the sun, then the earth, and so on. No, “they stand up together.” “He spake, and it was done” (Psalm 33:9). It did not take 16 billion years; it took six days—and the only reason it took that long was so that God’s workweek could serve as a pattern for people (Exodus 20:8-11).
God’s hand is omnipotent, and “He’s got the whole world in His hands.” It is wonderful to know His hand is gentle and loving as well as powerful. His hands will bear eternal scars where they were spiked to the cross, because He loved us and died for us. “My sheep hear my voice,” He says, “and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand” (John 10:27-28). The hand that spanned the heavens can hold on to those who trust Him.’https://www.icr.org/articles/type/6/?utm_source=phplist8638&utm_medium=email&utm_content=HTML&utm_campaign=July+31+-+The+Powerful+Hand+of+God
Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
‘Recently we were breathlessly warned that Ottawa was rocketing up the lists for most days over 30° C. Yes, folks, in early July the nation’s capital shot from 79th to 68th place with 60th in sight. And by late July it was all the way up to 29th place. But the odd thing is that the top 5 years were all… (in ascending order) 1911, 1949, 1921, 1955 and 1876. Spot the pattern? Nor could we.
Famously, if you generate a set of readings using random numbers, even simply flipping a coin, you get pseudo-patterns, like those apparent paths in the woods that peter out after a few meters or tens of meters. Sometimes heads are on a roll, coming up eight times in 10. Sometimes tails. But for that reason a few hot years is not a trend (nor are a few cool ones) even if they’re not linked to some non-climate-related cause like an El Nino.
If someone throws dice a dozen times and gets seven every time, you might start wondering if they possibly tampered with them. And if you really did get a reliable pattern where the years kept getting hotter with minor fluctuations, you could reasonably suggest that something was going on, though even then you’d have to do a more plausible job of filtering out natural cycles than the computer models that just assume they don’t exist. But when you’re breathlessly closing in on a temperature record from 1921, it means the square root of nothing at all. Especially if 3rd place is held by 1916, 4th by 1955, 5th by 2018 and 6th by 1887. It’s the sort of thing you’d get from a monkey throwing darts.
Then there’s the hype. For instance back on Canada Day BC set several records for high temperature. But you probably didn’t hear much about them because Vancouver’s record was for the lowest high temperature on Canada Day since 1960, just 14.8 °C, the average being 21. Now imagine if Vancouver had broken the previous high with a temperature seven degrees above average.
In Chilliwack it was even more remarkable: the high of 13.5 °C was the lowest in recorded history, a term here meaning “in 139 years”. Which got us curious, so we had a look around. Seems that if you go east from Chilliwack, which is now essentially a suburb of Vancouver, into the B.C. interior, Summerland and nearly Kelowna, the town whose mayor blamed the 2017 flooding and wildfires on climate change, also both set records in June. Also for low daily highs. Kelowna’s 12.8° C high on June 14 beat the 1912 record by over 2 degrees, while Summerland shaved half a degree off its 1912 record.
Then we checked the average temperatures for neighboring Washington State since 1895 and found that the hottest by a whole degree was 2016. But in 2nd place was 1934 and in 3rd 1958 whereas 1915 was the coldest, 1955 2nd and 1985 3rd. 2018 was also quite warm, nearly as warm as 1940. But after 2015 temperature plunged and 2019 was less than half a degree above the long-term average. What does it all mean? That weather is variable.’https://climatediscussionnexus.com/2020/07/29/hottest-since-the-last-one/
