In stark contrast, most Democrats don’t want Joe Biden to run again.
Former President Donald Trump offered the clearest signal yet that he intends to run for president in 2024. In an interview with New York Magazine, Trump said this:
“Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore… I would say my big decision will be whether I go before or after [the midterms] …
“I just think that there are certain assets to before… I think a lot of people would not even run if I did that because, if you look at the polls, they don’t even register… People want me to run.”
And looking at the polls, Trump is right. He leads 2024 primary polls with an average of 53% of the vote. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is his closest competitor at 20%, while no other…
