The riots and the death of George Floyd are a result of one man (Adam) not telling his wife that he will not eat the fruit from the tree the Creator had said NOT to eat thereof. That man ate and therefore, it was later written. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned Romans 5:12.
There are undoubtedly many underlying causes for those participating in the present day riots BUT the one main cause is a hatred of the Creator God. This is seen in the first murder performed by a brother upon his own brother. Cain’s offering had been rejected by the Creator and Abel’s offering had been accepted. Cain was angry and knew he could not take out his anger on the Creator so turned his anger on his brother and murdered him. THAT IS THE MAIN CAUSE FOR THESE RIOTS. The death of George Floyd is just an excuse. Now, this is not to say there was not an injustice done on George Floyd but there are injustices occurring every day in this world! Injustice happens to people of every skin tone!
However, there is an answer and that answer is in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. It was the Lord that looked down from a cross on a crowd that had hatred in their hearts and He said Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots Luke 23:34.
The questions are many but the answer is simple.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
