Well, am I important or not? NOT! Anyway, in May of 2019 Australia voted for Scott Morrison (Sco Mo) and the Coalition because the Australian Labor Party (ALP) was out to destroy the economy through their climate change scam policies. Climate_change_action_plan_fact_sheetALP 2019
The ALP’s Climate Change Scam was going to send the country bankrupt. The present COVID-19 situation is doing exactly that so the ALP and the Climate Change scammers should be happy!
However, I digress, later in December, 2019 I read an article concerning PM Sco Mo and the bush fires we were having here in Australia. I was shocked at what I read so I emailed the PM the following email.
‘I just read in the non-conservative news.com.au these words ‘Prime Minister Scott Morrison has conceded climate change was a contributing factor to the bushfires that have plagued the nation for months.’
If that statement is true the Coalition is no better than Labor and the Greens. The Liberals will regret this at the next election.
Sincerely, David C. Bennett’
This is the answer received today from the PM.
‘Dear Mr Bennett
Thank you for your correspondence which raised concerns about Australia’s actions to
mitigate climate change.
I appreciate you sharing your views with me. However, I must honestly and respectfully
disagree with the premise of your argument.
The Government accepts the findings of our scientific institutions on climate change.
It’s why Australia has made international commitments on emissions. It is why we are
keeping them, and it is why we will also keep them in the future.
Through our commitment to our Paris Target we are playing our part and doing our bit. We are doing so in a way that doesn’t endanger jobs or harm the economy. Australia cannot address climate change on its own.
Our target, reducing emissions by 26 to 28 per cent on 2005 levels by 2030, represents a
halving of emissions per person in Australia, or a two-thirds reduction in emissions per unit of GDP.
The Australian Government has a suite of practical policies in place to meet our emissions reduction targets while maintaining a strong and prosperous economy.
I am proud that under this government, Australia has created over 1.5 million new jobs. We also have a target to create 1.25 million new jobs over the next five years, including
250,000 jobs for young people.
Thank you again for writing to me.
Yours sincerely
In 2019 Australia voted for Scott Morrison and the Coalition because the ALP was out to destroy the economy through their climate change scamming policies. Actually, what the voters got was a supposedly conservative government that believes the same lies the ALP believes but will get Australia to the same destination but just a little slower!!
