What is it the Left love so much about Islam? While most here in Australia and the UK seek to obey the rules during this China induced crisis ‘…some muslim areas the social distancing rules are being totally ignored as they allow Friday prayers in mosques or in large gatherings in parks and open spaces.
All other religious denominations places of worship are of course closed and quite right so in my opinion.
I read two articles in two different newspapers, on covering Bradford, The Telegraph and Argus, the other covering Leeds The Leeds Press.
They both talked of mosques flouting the CV-19 social distancing rules.
This incensed me and made me feel very angry indeed. I therefore reported these mosques to West Yorkshire police via their online covid-19 report form.
I have received two different crime numbers.
My mistake was to mention, that as an independent radio journalist I would be driving around Bradford and Leeds to report on either open mosques or large outdoor prayer meetings.
This is a copy of the covid-19 key worker rules.
“Key public services
This includes those essential to the running of the justice system, religious staff, charities and workers delivering key frontline services, those responsible for the management of the deceased, and journalists and broadcasters who are providing public service broadcasting.”
But North Yorkshire police came to my home and threatened/advised me NOT to report on breaches of the lockdown rules.
As my journey to Leeds and Bradford would be considered as unnecessary????
If there are hundreds of Islamic worshipers gathering in close proximity they are simply breaching the social distancing rules.
Therefore putting thousands of innocent people at deadly risk.
I am an independent radio journalist and as such a “key worker”.
I therefore have the RIGHT to travel without restriction.
I will be uploading the video if my encounter with North Yorkshire police tomorrow and the link will be promoted.
